      "body": "They're actually not that great for autism or ADHD.  Keep in mind autism is a spectrum, meaning there is a wide range of issues and behaviors in kids with autism and the treatment of those behaviors have to be tailored individually.  don't just hand your ASD kid a spinner and expect it to help any, or at all.  Check with your kid's therapis first, or make sure its helping before letting them have it.\n\nAs for ADHD, it seems like it distracts them more than helps them concentrate.  A lot of schools are banning them now.  Parents were pushing the schools to allow them, but it looks like they were distracting the students more than helping, so the schools are pushing back on having what is basically a toy in class.\n\nAs an adult who likes to fidget, though, I love them, I have like three or four from a product testing company I work with and play with them all the time.  But yeah, not great for kids.",

But why are these things so popular and how did they come about?\n\nFidget spinners were made for the purpose of helping children with ADHD and autism to concentrate, they can fidget with these spinners to help with their condition.\n\nRecently fidget spinners are being used by more than just those with ADHD or autism. They are being used for fun by children all over the country. I wanted to know what the fuss was about so I headed over to a <a href=\"https://fidgetspinnersshop.co.uk\"> fidget spinner</a> online shop to get myself one and here's what I think.\n\nWhen I first received the spinner I couldn't exactly see why these things have become popular. Surprisingly, after a few spins I found that just spinning the toy was quite therapeutic and enjoyable to just watch. I enjoyed it so I started using it more, I used it whilst reading and whenever I wanted something to just fidget with.\n\nI think that overall these toys probably can be used to even treat certain conditions but we just have to see!",
