Thanks for your comment, I do recognize that VRChat has seen substation downloads and regular playtime, however, those numbers wouldn't justify 'Killer App' status in my opinion. Look at the games I've mentioned above such as **Pokemon Go!** (100 million Downloads (by August 8th, Google Play market only)) and **PUBG** (Owners - 33,333,814 W/ a $29.99 price tag [Only steam numbers]), each game has seen massive success and brought many fresh faces to their respective platforms. There's no doubt in my mind that VRChat has been one of the most popular VR games on steam, however, it's nowhere near what a Killer App would generate. In last paragraph I'm not sure who you consider to be a \"customer\"? Cause if you mean people who bought VR Headset then VR chat is one of the top VR apps out there. According to Steamspy VRchat has been downloaded almost 4mln times with ± 275k having logged at least once in the past two weeks (7.12%).       "body": "### Virtual Reality's Killer App? \n\nA 'killer app' is an application on top of a platform which is so enticing and exciting that it causes people to buy the underlying platform just to play it. Some examples of Killer Apps include BBM on Blackberry, PUBG/Fortnite on the PC, and Pokemon go on iPhone. The commonality between each of these applications is that no one really seen them being as popular as they became. These applications were social phenomenons. You can walk around virtual 'worlds' (as referred to by the game) and talk with and interact with other players and the environment. If you've seen **Ready Player One**, VRChat is like a low-level version of the *Oasis*. The first time you step in, you are asked to create a character, you can literally be anything, a knight, an anime character, a Dragon Ball Z character! Once you've selected your character you can go to different places and meet new friends, I'll admit there is little to do in some worlds, but other worlds allow you to collect skins and play mini games! \n\nhttps://i.ytimg.com/vi/qLau_WX61YE/maxresdefault.jpg\n*Walking around in game and interacting with other users example*\n\n### If VRChat is the Killer App for VR, Why Haven't I Heard of It?\nWell, if you own one of the two major systems in VR, the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive (Thought I was going to include Microsoft MR? LOL). Then you will have likely heard of or tried VRChat, being that it's free and most VR games are paid. The issue with VRChat is that it's too restricted to 'computer people' for lack of a better term. Which is great, I consider myself to be one, too. However, a Killer App requires that everyone uses it, and requires the application to run on consumer facing tech that's as cheap or cheaper than the alternatives (Gaming consoles, for example.) Once the VR space can be condensed down to a $200 unit, it will be inevitable that we will see mainstream adoption.       "body": "## Codename: Savage - Experimental Test Servers [First Impressions]\nhttps://cdn.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/59176941/vlcsnap_2018_03_23_14h51m00s512.0.png\nI still remember my first match of PUBG, I didn't even realize what the premise of the game was and I had bought it per recommendation from a friend of mine. Without any prior knowledge to the game, I remember dropping in, dying and then the game just ended? I was very confused? Did I join a late game? So I jumped in again and the same thing happened! At that point, I realized! Holy s&%! I love this game. It's high stakes, die once and you're done! The great map design and gameplay in my opinion make it one of the best video games currently on the market (hype aside). I've played over **125 Hours** as of the time of this review and I'm eager to try out some new content! \n\nOn April 2nd at 9pm PDT Bluehole released a new map (Close Beta)\n**Unofficial Name:** 'Codename: Savage' \n**Size:** 4x4\n**Setting:** Tropical Island\n**Location:** A collection of Islands, and based on the English names for the locations this might suggest US Virgin Islands? \n\nhttps://i1.wp.com/thebreakingnewsheadlines.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/1522431460_pubgs-4x4km-tropical-map-is-codename-savage-testing-starts-next-week-updated.jpg?fit=618%2C348&ssl=1\n\n## Review\n### Pros  \nMy first impression of the new map (let's call it savage for this review) was that it was much smaller than the first two maps. Because of the smaller map design, the game has a more fast-paced feel, with fewer places to drop and the likelihood of you running into other players early give the game a much needed speed boost. Not to mention that the circle times are now faster so although you don't need to run as far to the next circle, you can't stick around one area for too long! Something else I liked was the amount of ARs spawned in the game (There seemed to be quite a lot of M4s and AKs) and every time I was killed it was with an M4! Lastly, something I really liked was the amount of boats on the map. Since the map is comprised of islands, boats are a really good way to get around!\n\n### Cons\nSince this is in the experimental testing phase, I'm going to avoid critiquing any gameplay issues related to bugs, etc. That being said, I have some gripes with this map. Something that bugged me right off the bat was that the map, from the perspective of the plane during the drop, looked eerily like a shrunken reskin of Engral. Don't get me wrong, Engral is a wicked map and I enjoy playing on it, but I was hoping that Savage would have a distinct top-down look. Another issue I had with this map was that the buildings have a copy-and-pasted feel to them. For the most part it's just the same huts all over the map and they feel generic. Some locations, like the bootcamps, and certain large urban centers have unique building design and that's great! But I was hoping for some more building diversity in the less populated regions. \n\nhttps://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4612/40176727491_31da2b03d8_b.jpg\n\n### Score\nOverall, I was pretty happy with the map, sure I'm looking at the map through rose-colored goggles since I am thirsty for some new content and anything seems like a great addition to the game. However, I still think they could have made the map a little more... island-y? As in a map that consists of a collection of small islands, not just one that is a conglomerate of 3 or 4 medium ones. \n\n# First Impression Score : 7.5/10\n\nAfter I put in 25 or so hours I will be writing another review with more details\n\nThanks for reading,\nBrett :)",
