      "body": "Over the last few months, I had life-changing events.  I broke up with my girlfriend at the time when it was much needed. I put my two weeks notice in at my old job because of new career opportunities. My roommate's dog bit my hand because it thought I was stealing his food from him.  Recently, I started an investment in Cryptocurrency, which I have friends that are more knowledgeable on how it works than I am.  Even something small as painting my bedroom it was a drastic change.  Backtracking to these events I realized that I became a victim.  A victim of being brainwashed.  \n\nAlright, you’re probably thinking; “What the hell is he talking about?’”.  Being brainwashed isn’t necessarily being strapped onto a metal table with wires attached to your head while watching a subliminal message on a television.  There are certain aspects of brainwashing.  You see, I noticed I was  “programmed” to do certain tasks and procedures and yet cannot have the freedom to do anything I wanted because I was dependant on certain things.  \n\nOne of those certain things was at my old job.  I worked in management retail for almost two years.  I had my moments where I was enjoying the career, but also that the mentality of “This isn't what I went to school for”.  The longer I stayed, the more I realized it was time for a change.  Out of the blue a few months ago, I had two job opportunities where I get to make my own schedule and still make money doing it.  It took some time to think about.  I was more worried about the pay than anything.  After sleeping on it I asked myself “Why are you worried if you know you’ll get paid?”.  My answer is simple.  I was programmed to depend on the employee payroll system.  I depended on a paycheck bi-weekly so I can figure out finances and other uses.  I had the comfortability of knowing I had guaranteed pay every other week. \n\nWhat I concluded is; there’s no need to depend on the employee payroll system.  As long that I am committed to working as hard as I have done with my old job, then money is not an issue.  I learned it’s just more than that.  It’s about being happy and stress-free with no obligations and rules.  It’s about having the liberty to create your own schedule with no setbacks.  It’s about being your own boss and giving yourself more responsibility and trusting in my faith. Being able to do anything you want and getting paid at the same time sounds like freedom to me.  \n\nI was guilty of being brainwashed on the internet, and fortunately, I broke free. The younger generation of teens and adults are susceptible to anything that is written online.   I learned way back when do not believe everything you read on the internet.  My advice, take what you read or watch on the internet with a giant boulder of salt.\n\nThis is where getting bit by my roommate’s dog comes into play.  I had some major puncture wounds on my right hand.  I was contemplating like crazy whether I should go to the emergency room or clean it up myself and wait for it to heal.  I read countless medical websites looking at the symptoms and side effects of dog bites and some had high and low percentages of dog bites become infected. Again, not everything is true on the internet.  Long story short I never got my hand checked out and it’s fully healed.  \n\nTo me, I have a guilty pleasure of seeing people fight on Twitter.  I see arguments that don’t make any sense and believe people just love to argue.  I read postings in disgust that I can tell people are seeking attention and witness readers get manipulated by giving them the attention they seek.  I shake my head at people who react to news stories who really have no knowledge of the story itself.  The whole concept of being sucked into postings gives me a smile just because I am free from it.  Personally, it’s hard for me to believe anything when it comes to journalism and news stories.  News can put the fear of God in their audience and have them in their control.  I rarely watch television anymore for that reason.  \n\nTo make things clear this is not a brainwashing tactic towards the readers. I’m just stating that since I became brainwashing, I learned this.  I’m more alert than ever and take things with a grain of salt.  I’m very happy about my current lifestyle and have no plans to go back.  \n\nOh, and taxation is theft.",
