And I have been watching their developments as well as how investors are receiving this ICO. As of my writing this article today, Dragon is about to complete their very successful ICO on the 15th March 2018.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>This journey has been enlightening and exciting for myself and I am going to do a round up of the key achievements and developments of Dragon Inc throughout this time and to put together a few personal predictions on how I see Dragon Inc developing.</p>\n<p>Early in December 2017, I started to read about Dragon Inc in Reuters and was impressed by Dragon’s ability to secure US$265 mil from 4 junket operators in a private placement round. This must be an amazing blockchain product I was remembered thinking.</p>\n<p>After doing in-depth research, I discovered several details about this ICO that suggests that this is a very undervalued ICO and that I just got to get in on this ICO before more people realized what this company is doing.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>They are disrupting a multi-billion dollar industry with application of the blockchain and they already have the business network and the support of players in the industry even before they start.</p>\n<p>I must admit that I do not see any out-of-this-world technological innovation from Dragon but the business use case, the business network and connections to make this happen blew me away and I just had to make sure I own the Dragon coins, which are the tokens that will enable the entire Dragon platform and bring the innovation and cost savings to the traditional junket operations.</p>\n<p>After the pre-sale in December 2017, Dragon started to be listed in several exchanges and while we are seeing super high volumes yet as this is prior to the commencement of operations of Dragon, I did not see any dumping of the Dragon coins on the exchanges. This simply shows the resilience of Dragon Coins.</p>\n<p>Dragon Coin is now listed on Coinhub, IDEX, Qryptos, Forkdelta, and Etherdelta. And the number of exchanges listing Dragon Coin is expected to grow after the end of the ICO and as Dragon launches more and more exciting news such as new junkets, new partnership etc.</p>\n<p>Dragon, in the month of February and March, announced 2 partnerships. The partnership with DragonBet8 which is a online gambling portal that has started to accept Dragon Coins as one of the forms of payment to their site. The partnership with 7 Luck which is the government run casinos in South Korea that has opened Dragon Junkets in their 3 casino branches in Seoul.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>These 2 new partnerships came while Dragon is still running their ICO, which is a pleasant surprise, as it demonstrates the ongoing efforts by Dragon to become a global brand.</p>\n<p>At the same time, if you are watching their twitter feed at https://twitter.com/DragonCoin, you will be seeing all the marketing and promotional efforts by Dragon worldwide. The drive to become an international brand is unabated.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>With the end of the ICO in 1 more day, I am excited to see what lies ahead for Dragon. The burning program and the monthly airdrop program which will start in about 2 months as well as more news of Dragon junkets being open in 2018.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>These events and news will continue to move the price of Dragon Coins each time it happens.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>With the current drab atmosphere surrounding the entire crypto space, we really need some shining star to prove to the world that blockchain and cryptocurrencies do have the ability to change the world. We need Dragon to succeed and to become a leader in the crypto world. I certainly see this as one of the predictions of 2018.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>I also see that with Dragon achieving successes in partnerships and opening more junkets in 2018, the buying pressure for Dragon coins will keep increasing as more and more junket operators buy up Dragon coins in order to run their operations. This will move the price up for Dragon as there is a limited supply of Dragon coins in circulation. How much will the price be?&nbsp;</p>\n<p>If you read one of my previous <a href=\"https://steemit.com/dragoncoins/@boonster/opinion-piece-what-is-the-true-value-of-dragon-coins\">articles</a>, I suggested that it should be at least $33.39.       "body": "<html>https://steemitimages.com/DQmPiK1rPeqjEwXkh5n3ZbhH9C7XRP8F1JCmJQfCH3K2y5P/Screen%20Shot%202018-03-08%20at%2011.32.00%20pm.png\n<div class=\"text-justify\">\n<p>With the Dragon ICO in the midst of selling out the DRG while continuing to launch their operations, one question that will surface in investors or speculators’ minds will be when should they sell their tokens?</p>\n<p><br>\nThis can be difficult to time as we know from the short history of ICO, a large number of ICO will rise and fall in price after the listing of the tokens on crypto exchanges.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nThe typical token listing begins in a few smaller crypto exchanges before they can get a listing on a large exchange. The price of the token typically maintain the same or may even come down slightly upon listing on the smaller crypto exchanges. This is not uncommon as most tokens, after ICO, are not in heavy demand yet. However upon the company achieving more and more of their promised milestones on their roadmaps, these tokens tend to move back up in prices.</p>\n<p><br>\nThere are exceptions of course. Some tokens are being bought up based on hype or they are backed by certain famous crypto influencers, leading to greater buying activity; even before achieving any mass adoption.</p>\n<p><br>\nFor Dragon, Dragon Coins is already available in the following exchanges: Coinhub, IDEX, Qryptos, Forkdelta, and Etherdelta. This is even before the end of the ICO. However these exchanges are considered as relatively smaller exchanges and would not bring very high volume to Dragon yet. There is a need for the top 10 crypto exchanges to list DRG for price to really moon, so to speak.</p>\n<p><br>\nA ICO will go through a life cycle of boom and bust (in terms of the price of their token). After listing on the exchanges, there could be dumping of the tokens on the market by early investors who are able to realize their gains due to the bonuses they were awarded for being early to the game. Then the price will regain its value as the company starts achieving more and more of the milestones as promised on their road map. And when it is clear that the ICO is gaining adoption by the market, especially when their tokens are demanded by genuine users of their platform, the token price will finally moon.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nFor Dragon, the early supporters bought DRG at a price of $1 per token and they were restricted to sell the tokens only after 3 months. For these early supporters, they are already in profit based on the current trading price of DRG at the above-mentioned crypto exchanges. They may sell to realize some profits.</p>\n<p><br>\nFor the junket partners, advisors and founders, their restriction varies but generally it is for a 1 year period. So we are likely to not see heavy selling from them. Moreover these are the parties who are buying DRG for the purpose of running the junkets.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nThe dumping by early buyers may happen but I do not see this as a huge problem as Dragon has already started to realize their roadmap. Sellers at this stage would think twice as they will miss future gains.</p>\n<p><br>\nDragon has already opened junkets in Macau as well as in South Korea, as per their roadmap. With each junket opened and operating, the demand for more and more DRG will increase. This is going to start in May 2018 and we will start seeing how much Dragon earns from their operations and how much DRG they will start burning.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nWhen Dragon starts showing strong revenue results, and commence their DRG burning, we will see investors respond by buying up DRG from the exchanges.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nSuch a strong buying activity will also push the bigger exchanges to list DRG.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nThe above multiple factors, when combined, will see DRG increase in price in a short time.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nHence the reason why I am proposing for a hold period of 1 year. It is sufficient time for DRG to increase in price and it is also before the restrictions on the founder, advisors and junket partners are lifted.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nWe as investors, from the main sale, will have the advantage to take some profits before the team does. Some predict that in this year the governing coalition of the Liberal Democratic Party and Komeito may secure parliamentary passage of an anti-gambling addiction measure known as the “Basic Bill on Gambling Addiction Countermeasures”. With this, it will pave the way for the Integrated Resorts (IR) Implementation Bill, a key step on the path to Japanese casino licences eventually being conditionally issued and projects being built.</p>\n<p><br>\nThe opening of casinos in Japan sounds all rosy for junket operators. And some like Suncity Group are already eyeing the opportunity in Japan. But there are some likely proposed regulations that would effectively ban junket operators from the gambling resorts in Japan. Regulations for exchanging money for chips and lending money for betting are likely to rule out third parties like junkets and have to be managed by the casinos internally.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br>\nThis will be bad news for junket operators unless they can find a more innovative approach to doing their business. Junkets’ margins have been mostly reaped from these financing of stake money for the VIP gamblers (only a small part comes from the cut of the casino’s winnings), and not being able to “lend money for betting” will make it unprofitable for junket operators.</p>\n<p><br>\nHowever <a href=\"https://drgtoken.io/\">Dragon</a> is in an unique position to be able to leverage from this inflexion of regulations by countries opening up to the casino industry. Access this data while you are at another doctor, or possibly at a critical time.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>What Is The Problem MediChain Is Trying To Solve?</h2>\n<p><a href=\"https://medichain.online\">MediChain</a> is a medical big-data platform in the healthcare industry. They aim to use the blockchain to store all our medical information in a secure manner and to be able to give access to specialists when it is needed, regardless of the payer network or EMR(Electronic Medical Record) used. The main problem that MediChain is trying to solve is to reduce the number of deaths as a result of bad medical records. They will do this in two ways.</p>\n<p>Firstly medical information is collected in a number of different places, this makes it difficult to always have available. The patient can choose to sell the anonymized data to insurers, research companies, universities all for the greater good of healthcare. &nbsp;This would speed up the development of new drugs and also reduce cost of medicine.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>How it would work</h2>\n<p>MediChain would work as follows:</p>\n<p>Patients would have access to their own data by means of a smart card, with different levels of authentication. This will ensure that the access is only given to the correct person. The data is stored in an anonymized form.</p>\n<p>A client company, typically a pharmaceutical company, wants to purchase anonymised data with the patients consent. The pharma would create an order through an API, providing a request on required set of metrics (for example location, gender and age), the available amount of medical records in the ecosystem can be received by API request, thus the price of data will be known in advance.</p>\n<p>When the payment for the data purchase service is done, the company converts received fiat funds into tokens</p>\n<p>Although MediChain does have competitors, it believes its approach will win due to the partnership it wants to make with the current medical data industry. There is NEO, Cardano, EOS, Qtum and many others. However all these blockchains are facing the challenges which is preventing mainstream adoption. &nbsp;</p>\n<p>For distributed applications to become as synonymous as the applications we are familiar with in our Apple App Store or Google Play Store, applications need to be able to run just as fast with 1 user as well as with 100million users. Distributed applications (DApp) needs to become simpler to install and use. &nbsp;</p>\n<p>At this moment, only the more tech savvy amongst us are familiar with Metamask to be able to use DApps; the most famous DApp being CryptoKitties.</p>\n<p>Even though CryptoKitties slowed the Ethereum blockchain to a crawl during its height, the potential of the blockchain and smart contract was demonstrated to the world. With a platform like Experty, these knowledge providers will have a means to now charge for their phone call and video call consultations in an environment where they can trust that their clients are able to pay for their services.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>While I like their roadmap in terms of their product development, I think there is a need to pay more thought to their business roadmap. What is their strategy to market Experty to knowledge providers as well as to third party services/platforms that have an existing pool of consultants and knowledge providers. I believe that a business and marketing roadmap will serve Experty very well. To give credit to their whitepaper, there are some snippets of a business or marketing strategy in various parts of the document. For example, their go to market strategy in terms of integration with large portals and working with influencers and companies in the blockchain space. They just need to put everything into a single business roadmap and it will give light on how they intend to achieve their goals.</p>\n<p>Hence I give Experty 4.0/5.0 in this area. If they come up with a business/marketing roadmap, I will probably give them 5.0/5.0 easily.</p>\n<h2>Listing in Exchanges</h2>\n<p>As an investor, this is something I am concerned with. I would like to see the tokens that I have invested in being listed on major exchanges. However I also understand that many teams are obliged not to divulge the exchanges that they will be listing on. So for this part, I will simply give Experty a 3.0/5.0 as a neutral rating although I do believe that listing on major exchanges for such a token would not be a challenge.</p>\n<h2>Team And Advisors</h2>\n<p>The team is filled with very strong developers and they are from the founders’ web consulting firm ReactPoland. Hence they already have a support system in place and can manage uncertainties that may arise during development.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>As for the advisors, they have advisors from a broad spectrum of the crypto industry. Some of these advisors will also become pilot knowledge providers for the platform. Or should I hold my DRG for much bigger profits? That is the question on many investors' mind after the recent Dragon Pre-ICO sales. With Ethereum breaking through $1000 and many new altcoins making top 10 in market cap, what should we do?</p>\n<p>Of course the other key question would be what will be the price of DRG in the next few months.</p>\n<p>These 2 questions are related and I will try to provide my opinion about DRG and its growth prospects. But please bear in mind that I am not a financial analyst and that this is not a recommendation to buy or sell DRG.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>My Thoughts About Selling Dragon Coins</h2>\n<p>This article is just going to be a whiteboard for my thoughts and what I am likely to do with my DRG investments moving forward in 2018.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>2017 has been and exceptional year for cryptocurrencies, particularly for the major cryptos and in 2018, many experts are calling it the year of the altcoins.</p>\n<p>So will Dragon Coins deliver a stunning performance in 2018? Or should we just take the quick profit when it is listed on the exchanges and go hunting for the next coin?</p>\n<p>There are several factors to consider. I have written about the various factors regarding DRG that will organically grow the value of the coin such as the growing gambling market in Asia, the increasing revenue of the junket industry in Macau, the buying demand of DRG from junket operators and VIP gamblers as well as the burning program by Dragon Inc.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>These factors will drive the value of DRG up the moment it gets listed on the exchanges. And this will tempt many DRG investors to take a quick flip and sell their DRG.</p>\n<p>However my opinion is that DRG will continue to rise in value from the point of listing and throughout 2018.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The reason for such an optimistic opinion are two folds. The entire junket business at this moment is not using any form of cryptocurrency and it is a multibillion dollar industry with hundreds of millions in daily turnover. In a previous article, I estimated that daily Rolling Chip Drop is about $50 billion USD and above in Macau for junket operations. A continuous flow of this $50 billion will find its way into DRG and it will continue to fuel the buying of DRG.</p>\n<p>And at the same time, the junket business grew 19% in 2017 and it is expected to continue to grow at another double digit rate in 2018.</p>\n<p>Increasing growth in the junket business will also mean increasing demand for DRG along with greater adoption of DRG into more and more junkets.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>Hence DRG value will rise throughout 2018 and with the burning of the DRG monthly, the price of individual DRG will move steadily upwards.&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>So should I sell DRG the moment I can? Or should I be hodling DRG for greater gains?&nbsp;</h2>\n<p>The answer for me is clear.
