This aids in the decentralization of the network. The kirin 1020 is rumored to be power efficient and 50% faster when compared to the kirin 990, with the 5nm chipset the engineers were able to fit in 10.6 billion transistors which is a notable improvement. the kirin 1020 is said to have an integrated 5G modem which started with the kirin 990.</p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img src=\"https://i2.wp.com/blockspill.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Erste_Kirin_1020_820_Specs_Huawei30-1.jpg?fit=770%2C505&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"897\" class=\"wp-image-897\"/></figure></li></ul>\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">    The kirin 1020 aka Baltimore is alleged to launch with the Huawei mate 40 series, this would make the Huawei mate 40 series the first smartphone with a 5nm chipset.</p>\n<p style=\"font-size:22px\">There are rumors about Apple's Bionic A14 being a 5nm chipset, which will presumably be used on later versions of iPhone and Qualcomm releasing a 5nm Snapdragon chipset in 2021.
