      "body": "<p>Hi steemers! </p>\n<p>I decided to have a look what community likes to talk most and which topics collect most rewards. First, lets have a look at topics that receive mosts comments.</p>\n<p>https://i.imgsafe.org/66cd2dd6a0.png</p>\n<p>Two topics dominate - &quot;steemit&quot; and &quot;introduceyourself&quot;. This seems quite intuitive as community is very new and people are trying to understand what is this platform about and how it works. Therefore, many topics are about the platform itself. Second most popular topic to receive comments is introductions. It seems that people are trying present themselves and their interests/competencies to others and maybe find something common between each other. </p>\n<p>Third and fourth topics are &quot;photography&quot; and &quot;money&quot; which are less popular at this point of time compared to first two topics. </p>\n<p>So to sum up, if someone wants to receive many comments or have a discussion, it would be safe to go for steemit or introduceyourself topics.</p>\n<p>Now let's have a look at topics that receive most payouts. </p>\n<p>https://i.imgsafe.org/66ce0c430d.png  </p>\n<p>People comment two topics most - &quot;steemit&quot; and &quot;introduceyourself&quot;, and they receive most rewards, which seems natural. However, &quot;introduceyourself&quot; receives significantly more rewards compared to how often it is commented on: 27% of total rewards go to &quot;introduceyourself&quot;, while total replies to this topic account to 19%. It seems that steemers value introductions a lot and are rewarding people that write it. </p>\n<p>Third and fourth topics to receive most rewards are &quot;travel&quot; and &quot;life&quot;. Both of these topics are less commented but receive good rewards. </p>\n<p>So to sum up, currently topics about Steemit and introduceyourself are most popular in terms of comments and receiving rewards. So currently majority is learning about the platform and each other.       "body": "<p>Let's start with Steemit growth engine. We have facebook, twitter, youtube, and loads of other social media platforms where people can express themselves. Steemit growth is fueled by financial incentive - people are rewarded financially for submitting content that is liked by other Steemit users. It is very attractive proposition for anyone - to receive money for content they already have or are willing to produce. Financial rewards are extremely high and disproportionate to the actual value of the article. Therefore, many people sign up. </p>\n<p>Now where I see the problem - current voting system encourages people to write topics that are liked by &quot;whales&quot; because it increases probability to be liked and receive financial reward. let's look at steemit statistics - most popular and highest rewards go to &quot;steemit&quot; and &quot;introduceyourself&quot; topics. I understand the reason to vote on &quot;steemit&quot; topics that help users understand the platform. Decided I want to be part of this community and see where it brings us all!</p>\n<h1>Professional background</h1>\n<p>I've been studying computer science at Vilnius University, later international management. Unfortunately I graduated in summer of 2008 and was looking for job in finance. The worst timing ever, but anyway decided to move to UK, London. I was supporting myself with random jobs in retail and on the side applying to many positions in finance.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>I wanted to get into hedge fund industry so decided to get a relevant certificate. During these studies I started receiving interviews but could not get an offer. So I though, I should use interviews to learn as much as I can from industry insiders. Once I got new interview I've prepared a list of questions that I wanted to ask and learn about. When the time came, interviewer would ask me a questions and I would answer it and ask him a questions as well. It turned out very interesting exchange of information about each other and a position. Funny thing that the position I was applying was analyst role, which required asking questions and understanding how things work. This is how I got into the industry :)</p>\n<p>I spent few years in London (which was really good) but decided to move back to my home country to be closer to my family and friends.</p>\n<p>The return was quite difficult professionally because I've changed a lot over the years in London. I worked as an investment banking analyst, management consultant, but could not find myself in the right place. So I started my own company. I got three more persons on board and now we work on new idea. We try to make life easier for small medium enterprises by giving them a tool to negotiate early payment with its buyers. The result is - small companies can get money when needed and at a good rate. This is a picture of me in Rise Vilnius hackaton. At that time I traded Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin..but as you know it all went down. This is how I got into the industry :)</p>\n<p>I spent few years in London (which was really good) but decided to move back to my home country to be closer to my family and friends.</p>\n<p>The return was quite difficult professionally because I've changed a lot over the years in London. I worked as an investment banking analyst, management consultant, but could not find myself in the right place. So I started my own company. I got three more persons on board and now we work on new idea. We try to make life easier for small medium enterprises by giving them a tool to negotiate early payment with its buyers. The result is - small companies can get money when needed and at a good rate. This is a picture of me in Rise Vilnius hackaton. Was going to the gym for few years to keep me fit, but now changed to cross fit - totally love it. I can read over their work and find new things all the time.</p>\n<h1>Crypto</h1>\n<p>I am involved with crypto since 2013. At that time I traded Bitcoin, Litecoin, Namecoin..but as you know it all went down.
