This seems to be the reason that jumps out at me as I read all the articles condemning the advent of a centralized digital currency. \n\nThe central bank making the decision to issue and utilize digital currency would aid global trade between countries making the process as simple as the click of a button but as simple as that would be the \"putting the foot down\" response of some central banks officials may be the final response on the topic.\n\nWhy this response? well think about it, the volatility of the coin is no cover-up or conspiracy, none-the-less we cant see why with volatility attached from everything from oil to foreign exchange but is the volatility of digital currency even greater? \n\nThis volatility means that the stability of such currencies can wreak havoc on the financial system as the market will respond and with digital currency, the market can respond swiftly and unpredictably with the click of a mouse. \n\nI am thinking there may be validity in the response of the central banks. What about you?",

      "body": "I was born in the cool rural area of Jamaica named St. Thomas, and there I stayed for the first six years of my life. I don’t recall much of my experiences in rural Jamaica but I can recall some staples of the culture that existed at the time. I remember red polished floors, all areas of the houses had this red polish plastered all over it and one walk through would leave your feet with the same color. I remember women would use the thick outer cover from the coconut to polish the floors to perfection. Another staple at the time was the one place we all went to get water, “the stan pipe” where people came together at times for one purpose, gathering water for their households. This was one area I saw men and young boys take the lead, the culture was and is predominantly matriarchal. \n\n![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmU2hwgTh5hhP19hfFvqF1WLWKNZ2bjU5sTy1wehLyXHA1/image.png)\nIn addition to those aspects of the Jamaican culture at the time, I recall a true “one love” harmonious existence. It was a culture that deemed your child as not just your own but the community’s to scold, to feed, to care for and the burden of the less fortunate was the burden for all who lived among them. A culture that held respect as an expectation, with all ‘elders’, as all adults where labeled, would be greeted at every meeting up with a child. Doors were left opened way past dark because essentially we were all family. \nTo be continued!",

I want to share some less believable, rather strange things about the amazing blessing we call prayer. \n\nFirst, what is this thing called prayer? I have seen and heard several definitions of prayer from various sources. One source defines it as, “a sincere request, hope or wish addressed to God”, and I agree. I would add that it is also an expression of gratitude or an appreciation or show of faith in God. What better way to express your belief in God than talking to him as a friend to which you share your deepest anxieties and concerns. \n\nSecond, what is the purpose of praying? Praying has many purposes, some of which we see soon after praying, while others are revealed at a later date, seemingly late but always very much on time.
