| body | Maybe you are just excited about how apps get created or you want to build one , or you are a manager of a company and you want to make an app as cheap as possible by your own. Any way very quick I am going to show you what are the ways to build one , and you can understand which is the best app for you. Let's get started! First things first , code one by your own or with your team: I call this the best and the first way to build an app. Why? Cause you can manage everything by your own , add options exactly as same as you want , and edit anything in the way you like. When you code something it's like you are the god of that thing and you control it in any way. OK , if I want to code one , how should I get started? The best way to get started is to find a way , to code your app by the programming language you know. For e.g I had a base knowledge about python and when I asked people about creating apps for phones , most of them answered : "You have to learn java and xml completely !" and I was like "Oh man , I even don't know enough things about python and I have to learn JAVA completely? " . I just forgot everything about that for that time and again when I wanted to take another look on my options , I thought maybe there is an only way to code mobile apps with PYTHON ! I started googling and I found I can use "Buildozer" in python PIP library and know trying to test it for making my own first mobile app with python. OK what if you don't know anything about programming or you know what programming is but don't know a programming language ? If you are asking me , I think the best way is to first research and choose the best programming language for your self which helps you to reach to your targets without wasting more time , and then find a way for doing anything you want to do. For example pick something like C or JAVA or python which can help in other jobs too , and don't just download a PDF about javascript which can be useless on its own. Second , hire a programmer to code your app : This one's easy no need to explain more and waste time. Third option we got here , use the apps which help you to build your own app without coding : We all have seen these kind of apps or websites. They help you to make your app , they do the back end coding (what a button does as an example) and you set the GUI (User interface of app : where a button should be and how it looks like) . At the end they give you , your app . BUT! usually they add their advertisements in it and say we made this app and ruin your motivation. If you don't want to see those ads on your app , you should pay those guys some dollars to get VIP. The last but not least : making games easily? then build apps in the same way! : There are some game engines which have made game development really easy ! like construct which makes games using HTML5 and can export them for any system OS . Or Unity or something same as construct. You can build games with them which means a lot! Then a simple app is nothing for that engine ; Just it will be a little different from normal programming and you cannot count that an achievement or level up cause that's not a real way and for some projects it just makes you limited. OK that's it people I hope you enjoyed! |

| body |

Hello people ! Today in this post I just wanna tell you how to close some vulnerable ports on windows OS (even if you have antivirus) to make more security for your laptop or PC.

OK , all of us know that always antivirus programs , do the rest of things , but you should pay money for it. And also you should pay lots of money for perfect one to make you really secure and do more than rest of the things. Anyway we are not here to talk about antivirus programs , lets start.

Why we should close some ports on windows?

Cause there are some vulnerable ports , which are open by default on windows , and they have some uses as I read , but if you just google the number of port , you will prefer to close it instead of leaving it open.

And also you should know that most of ransomware programs are just exploiting vulnerable ports. For example , the Wannacry ransomware can get in your PC by lots of ways , but one of them is the port 139 on windows which is TCP.

Which ports are vulnerable on windows?

As I figured out , the port 139 and 135 are the most dangerous ports , and it's better to close them (Also maybe you never change anything on your windows and you never get hacked or anything , but it's better to make your self and your systems as secure as possible).

Also there is a port 445 which makes your windows vulnerable , it is used for the SMB (server message block) and if you are using printers and other stuff , for easier usage is better to close this port too. But if you think you don't have enemies to hack you , leave it open.

excuse me , what is port?

Any way for making connection to an OS and outside an OS is port. In other words ports are like doors and windows of a room and each one has its' usage. For example the door of room is for people to come in and go out , and it can be closed by it's lock , and no one can get in or out. The window of room is for getting fresh air and the light of sun to the room , and also it can be used for looking outside the room.

And if we think that the cracker is the thief coming to that room ; he can get in by the door if you don't close it , or if you close it but forget the window to close , he will get inside by the window.

Now , did you understand what is a port? If not , search the google , unfortunately I cannot explain better than this.

How to see the ports are open?

First just check it your self to see are those ports open or not. You can do it by typing 'cmd' in search bar of windows start menu and opening it. Then after CMD opened , type 'netstat -a' in cmd. It shows a long list , scroll up to see the command you entered , and now read the list from first. it is something like this :

The command in this image is different but it does the same. and look at the top of the list. 0.0.0.0 :135 is showing the open port and also the same for 445.

Or if you want do it by other devices , use nmap tool! enter ip of windows device and it will show you the open ports.

How to close them?

search firewall in search bar , it show 'windows fire wall advance security' open it and you will see this :

On the left side you see 'inbound rules' and 'outbound rules' (we should write rules for both of them)

First click on inbound rules and on top right side of window click on 'New rule' . A window pops up , select the 'port' option and click next , choose tcp at top and choose 'specific local ports' at downer side , and enter the number of port for e.g 135.

Then click next then click block all connections and click next , check all three options and type a name and description for it and do the same on 'outbound rules'

That's it ! Now you know how to block connections to a port. I hope you enjoyed this post and have a nice and secure crypto day!

|

Today I have some bad news for people who have android devices with android 5 and 6(Also includes my self). I just have posted some days ago about using termux and last night I understood that the termux is not supporting updates for android 5 and 6. Also I have written a sentence about the Google play store error about downloading the app and as I said on that post I thought that the problem is from my phone cause I had erased everything and installed firmware again. Last night I found termux available in Google play store and I downloaded it again , but there was a message in termux terminal that was saying ' there will be no package update for this version anymore' (not the exact message) . I found all of this by googling and , there's no perfect way to solve it.

I installed the older versions (when it was not available in play store for me) and it was working , but some basic packages were not installed! For example the ls command was not working! I had to download it package again.

After all , maybe we (me and other people with android 4,5,6) must look for another terminal emulator which helps us to use the linux side of android or still using termux without package update.

But it's better to not give up , I mean there is no need to buy another phone with higher android version , just try another app , for example I'm gonna try that Android emulator app. (I thing it's name was exactly 'android emulator')

Anyway , my post was not really at time and some how outdated but , I thought it's better to say now instead of never saying. How is everything going on? Today in this post I wanna say why I really prefer a Linux to windows or mac.

First thing first , this post is just my own reasons , I am not saying that Linux is the best ; any OS is made for some sorts of jobs , things and also some types of people depending on their need , and the useful one for me is Linux. And I don't say I hate other OS. For example cause of some jobs I have to do , I have windows on my PC too , but I don't really enjoy with it. And Let's start.

Most of people thing users of Linux select it cause of security of it and cause it has less security bugs on it ; at some points it is true , and my first reason was that ! But all of us know that any thing can get hack , any thing that human makes has problems. And some weeks ago I was reading an article about security bugs that penetration testers had found on one of Linux operating systems. I mean don't choose an OS for not getting hacked! Maybe there are some , which are more secure than other , like black berry phones , but there is a rule in hacking and penetration testing that says : ' nothing is secure and everything can get hacked , you should find it's way.' Or at least that was a rule that I learned after some years studying and self studying.

The second reason I really enjoyed with it , was the Root terminal of Linux!

The windows and also mac has the terminal too , but for example in windows it's called CMD , also there are differences between them. For a Linux user 99% times uses the terminal for doing something and just 1% of times really double click on the icons on desktop to open a file or go to a directory. Why ? Maybe cause the commands in Linux are easier to use , maybe cause the GUI is not very perfect (GUI is not very important for a Linux user!) , or maybe cause most of things in Linux are terminal based !

Let's really talk about the root terminal. When you log in as root in Linux , you can do anything! You are the boss! But in windows when you log in as admin , even when you want to run a game , it asks you 'Are you sure to run this application as admin?' , I think the windows is not trusting anyone! Also most of things are getting done by using GUI for e.g the control panel , you are just clicking the options and at last type a name or password , but in Linux systems you have to know what are you going to do , and if you don't know what will exactly happen after entering a command , you really won't do that! Cause when you want to undo that thing , you need a different command and there is no button named 'turn off' or an option to unchek it! Also you should know that , when you are the boss (you have root access) , you can use any ability that your system has! For example there are WIFI adapter which look like normal adapters and are used by normal people safely , but when you have Linux with root access , and you know the adapter perfectly (for e.g the installed chip on adapter) you can turn that safe and lovely adapter to a hacking weapon and use it's monitor mode.

It was a long paragraph ! But it was the most important one . Let's go for the third feature.

Most Linux systems has the useful programming languages installed! No need to download python2 or 3 for it and install it! It has it self! And don't make me to say that windows sometimes has problem with both python versions installed. (I actually said it.) Or it was my problem that I couldn't find the exact command to switch between python versions :( . cause windows is not made for this switching and programming and stuff. I don't say that it is impossible bot Linux is easier!

The last thing I want to say in this post ; windows has some ports open which make it vulnerable on network and you should install antivirus to close them (not all of them) . And in Linux You are the antivirus , you set the firewall , you say the rules , you check the codes , you open and close the ports or even filter them and lots of other things that I don't wanna say cause I thing it is enough until here.

Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed .

I say again we don't have impossible , anything is possible , and any OS is good for it's people and any OS is made for some of people not all of them. Enjoy the OS you have installed on your laptop or PC and if you thing it's not enough for you , just don't delete it , make a virtual machine on it and install the OS you need! I am doing the exact thing here.

Have a nice day and enjoy your life.

|
