      "body": "I am a traffic data field technician in the south meaning I work on the road at night a lot. I have seen non-prank versions of this in Georgia especially last week along the highway. While driving I’ll see the cops with the lights on at a vehicle that is obviously stuck or abandoned. While in our case I think they are trying to help I wish I could have seen a video of this prank, this has made me laugh today!",

Wait, where was I? Oh yeah, winter. It can be very unpleasant.\n\nHowever, for other people, winter is awesome. The natural world is transformed, creating images of frozen beauty, like these stunning photographs of Niagara Falls. And all that ice and snow opens up a lot of possibilities. You can go ice skating, sledding, snowmobiling, and build a snowwoman. That’s right, snowwoman! Simon Laprise, a 33-year-old machinist and woodworker, sculpted a car out of snow on the side of the road, to try to fool the snow removers. As you can tell from the photographs, it’s pretty convincing. “I am passionate about building and designing stuff,” said Simon in an interview. “I did the car to have fun expressing my creativity on that beautiful day.” I mean, what else are you going to do in Montreal, Canada? Two cop cars pulled up to the fake vehicle, cherries flashing, and Simon snapped a couple great photographs. Hahahahaha,” with a smiley face. “I meant to trick the snow removal guys,” said Simon. “I was not expecting a ticket/note.” Aren’t Canadian cops polite? In America, the cops probably would have panicked and shot the car. Just kidding! Like, really, really cold. It’s one of the biggest cold snaps the continent has ever been blasted with, and some pretty freaky sh*t is going down. Frozen sharks are being washed ashore, windows are breaking and electricity poles are snapping. The antifreeze stuff you put in your car is actually freezing for some people, and you can stop making those frostbite jokes now because you might actually get it if you’re out for too long.\nBut it’s also pretty cool – if you’ll pardon the pun – and not just because you can make snow angels or hurl large rocks at frozen ponds to see if you can crack them. Take the Niagara Falls, for example. The huge waterfall that sits on the Canadian side of the border next to the US is a stupidly beautiful winter wonderland right now. Thanks to temperatures staying well below freezing point every day of late, the park is covered in ice and snow and tourists visiting the Falls have been confronted by a massive, icy thing that looks out of this world.\n\nTemperatures are hovering between -7 and -16 degrees Celsius, and on Friday the mercury is only expected to wobble between the -17 and -21 marks. And with windchill, things can feel much, much colder. Holy smokes. But it seems to be worth it for the view. The breathtaking winterscape at the Falls is all white, with snow blanketing the ground and sitting atop the trees doubled over with heavy globs of ice on their branches. There are seriously dramatic icicles everywhere and frost licking every surface to make it appear as if everything is glittering and glowing in the winter sun.\nBut I’ll just go ahead and show the damn pictures now and cease my poetic ramblings about the beauty of winter.",
