      "body": "I met this nomad in the middle of night. At first I thought him to be a homeless with his torn clothes and shoes, but he was smiling - 40 something year old guy licking his ice cream, with shaved and clean face, talking perfect English - he  declared him self the happiest man alive. \"I travel on a 25 EU a day budget challenge\", he explained, \"and last place I visited, in the hostel (mixed dorms, of course), all the travelers we're whispering,  as if being possessed - Sarajevo, Sarajevo, you must go and see Sarajevo. Let's contradict ourselves even more, enjoy the pain mixed with happiness, chew it like a gum until it loses it taste; until feelings lose their meaning.</p>\r\nThe academy of fine arts building was originally designed as a church, opened to the public on Nov. 1899. This assassination triggered events that led to the World war I , first modern era war. That was ages ago! Since then I got to Split and met a nomad traveling with lots of shoes and beer cans. Apparently, the beer cans were empty of any liquer, but filled with powders, herbs, and pills. Thank god I quit all those. Was a nice flirt, the next guy started yelling at us - in the middle of the night, yea? \"get a room!\". So, the guy snoring like a  carpentry shop didn't bother you, but the girl and boy whispering - that woke you up?! bitch please. Girls usually come together and get busy with their looks, petty for them.\r\n\r\nDrying machine and cheap carbs make my denim smaller, and I find myself looking for new ones. Though I'm a girl,  I don't like shopping much. These days I'm considering how to get rid of one small suitcase, with some superfluous stuff.\r\n\r\nNew years eve is coming, for both Muslims and Jews. Today I got a reminder of the letter I wrote to my self last year. It's all about making peace with my self, my identity and religion, my gender, my age. Understanding one's origins to continue proudly to the future. And that's for the next blog post. So, What is it?\r\nWell, During the early decades of the 20th century, Taxidermy was a huge trend, and taxidermy of amphibians was considered a delicate and most complex skill.\r\nFerenc Mere, a Hungarian taxidermist, developed his own technique and stuffed up thousands of frogs. Placing stuffed animals in everyday-human-scenarios was very popular that time, but what makes this so cute is the fact that frogs have no neck, so their point of view is, well, mostly out of context. The  dioramas, like frozen 3d photos, are quite creepy yet inviting for a closer look on the small details.\r\n\r\nWhile watching the exhibition I thought about several things:\r\n<ul>\r\n <li>\r\n<pre>first of all, the no-photos policy actually makes sense,  as for taxidermy would get affected and damaged with high exposure of flash light. None the less, the hole experience would be ruined if everybody would just take photos. Have you visited the Louvre Museum lately and tried to admire that over-exposed-lady?</pre>\r\nand now, for real:</li>\r\n <li>\r\n<pre>How similar humans behave in the early 20th century, compare to today's activities. And how many activities have we humans neglected during the passed 200 years? most of the hand crafts are in no use today; And there's this cute frog playing guitar to his lover on a boat, well.. find me that kinda frog and I'll kiss and make a prince out of... yeah, right.</pre>\r\n</li>\r\n <li>\r\n<pre>Memory got a whole new meaning with the no photos policy. What will I remember from the exhibition? Turns out more than expected, <a href=\"https://g.co/kgs/xz9h8D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Roland Barthes</a> accurately determined that photos actually makes us forget most details from the experience.</pre>\r\n</li>\r\n <li>\r\n<pre>How anxious I was to get out and share this experience with you. I told Roy I don't want to spend the rest of my life suffering under the neon light. I want to travel, to write, to make art, to meet new people, to be in a constant change, always evolving and exploring. I remember the words coming out of my mouth, they sounded like a blurry filtered romantic dream. Being the professional-growth-expert-startup-advisor that he is, I think Roy didn't take me seriously back then; Perhaps, I didn't either.\r\n\r\nThis week a colleague asked me, how did I get<b> here.</b>\r\n<b>Here </b>- meaning - writing and studying from a cafe in a foreign city, planning my next step (spoiler: Adriatic sea coast line).\r\n<h6>I started thinking about all the things I let go, intentionally and unintentionally, in the past 8 years:</h6>\r\n<ul>\r\n <li>Most of my clothes I threw away and gave to friends. The few possessions that I hold dear: a small vinyl collection and some vintage furniture, are kept in storage.</li>\r\n <li>I left the heterosexual normative relationship, that placed me in a bogged down position; at the same time, I woke up from false dreams of a partner, who'm I expected to \"complete\" me with the attributes I felt lack there of.</li>\r\n <li>I quit trying  to meet society's expectations of me.       "body": "<p>The word for street in Hungarian is Utca, the C is pronounced like TZ. The word for Street in Zagreb is Ulica, the C is pronounced like TZ. Pékség in Hungarian means bakery, beware of those - an intoxicating smell arises from the entrance outside, louring you in; Usually you'll find low nutritious value carbs with ham and cheese, and  very few green vegetables, if any. Apparently in Zagreb the laws make a distinction between food places and drinking places, so most coffee shops don't serve any food.  I wonder how a place can make profit this way, as for I'm not the only one working for hours on one cup of coffee. It's also rare to find non-dairy milk , and the coffee here, well... I had better. But never mind all that. Only 4 hours by bus from one country to the other, and the languages could be just one apparent attribute of culture similarities. Zagreb has  middle ages architecture, so the churches are huge and dramatic compare to all other short red rooftop structures next to them. In Budapest, you'd distinguish a church from any other building standing next, but it will most likely be at the same height. Does this make Hungary less religious than Croatia? more individualist in nature?  I don't know about that. But I've learned that Croatian for bakery is pekara, and the pastries here have no better nutritious values but still damn greasy and tasty. </p>\n<h2>Program Bar and Booksa</h2>\n<p>Posh, eclectic designed, good quality coffee. everywhere you look, there's something interesting, out of the ordinary art piece and ready made cool furniture. If you want to get inspired, <a href=\"https://web.facebook.com/programbar/?_rdc=1&amp;_rdr\">Program bar</a> is the right place. If you want to work, next door there's the Booksa, where the real deal is done. <a href=\"http://www.booksa.hr/\">Booksa</a> is actually a \"members club\", which acts a bit different than a coffee shop. With heavy wooden and rust metal furniture, green live plants and succulents you get this kind of gloomy steampunk feel, but those colorful Lovely umbrellas lighting up the place, perfect  for work but also for second dates! </p>\n<h2><a href=\"https://web.facebook.com/KIC-klub-700127166811776/\">KIC klub</a></h2>\n<p>I have a soft spot for those quasi libraries in galleries.       "body": "The other day, my mentor suggested that I should take one of those \"post-it\" sticky notes and put it on my laptop, so I will see it every day. On the note I have to write and remind myself: <b>you're not a tourist. </b>While people in this hostel stay for 3 days more or less,  I'm here for 3 weeks. In nomad terms, it's considered a very short period of time, but in tourists' term it's like, well \"forever\". So greeting the bartender and lobby clerk on a daily basis, got me thinking about the differences between a being a tourist and being a traveler.\r\n<h2>Don't break free.</h2>\r\nYou'd be surprised  to know what are the  first 2 things I look for in every new place I arrive to.  Thanks to my amazing genetics, my eyebrows tend to grow fast and wild, so a cosmetics salon is most wanted.  The second  place I google for is a yoga studio. People tour new places to break their habits, and do things they  don't usually do. Till then, I see the tourists in the hostel come and go, all stressed up to get as much experiences possible in the least amount of time. But Me?  I'm in no rush. And please, send my apologize to all those who think about food as a \"culinary experience\". well, It might be, but how ever amazing you think food can be,  after about 2 hours, I'll be shitting it all up, and so will you. Capitalism had ruined the  local natural food experience anyway, made it a whole \"consumerism\" and \"showing off\" thing. No wonder they call it <a href=\"https://www.ted.com/talks/tristram_stuart_the_global_food_waste_scandal\">\"food porn\"</a>, it has the same attributes of exploitation as the sex industry.  As a traveler, I'd prefer living like locals do, so  I will look to buy simple groceries in a local market, or eat in a \"cheap\" street food stand. Food is meant to give you energy for the rest of the day, so I suggest you lay off any food that doesn't make you feel good. It's all about all being yourself, but in the same time considerate and sensitive towards the place your exploring. A lot has been said against<a href=\"https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/oct/29/airbnb-backlash-customers-fight-back-london\"> the damage AIRBNB is causing to most toured places</a>, but one cannot neglect the \"local\" feeling they give to any explorer. So why would I want to come to a place that looks like an office and imitate the annoying feel of being stuck in a cubicle under a neon light? Well,  <strong>F</strong>uck Yo<strong>u</strong> <strong>A</strong>dam <strong>N</strong>eumann, Only douche-bags use your expensive synthetic sterile environments. If you ask me all this \"WeWork\" thing  is  just one big real estate Hoax. So, <strong>FUAN</strong> basically means -  this lousy process of gentrification, while you should actually get the original and authentic experience, for a cheaper expanse, if you just look for it. Having said that, I can peacefully send you off to my  favorite places around Budapest. Working here feels like going to grandma's house: surrounded with books and photo albums; old wooden furniture  and some ready made stuff (check out grandma's vintage sawing machine turned into a table). What gives the place the sophisticated feeling is probably the cutting edge playlist, ranging from the Dandy Warhols to Alaska Thunderf***. For a more intimate and surprising vibe, follow the rabit hole to the secret garden in the back! \t\t\n\t\t\t<iframe frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" src=\"https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Massolit%20Cafe%20Budapest&amp;t=m&amp;z=14&amp;output=embed&amp;iwloc=near\" aria-label=\"Massolit Cafe Budapest\"></iframe>\t\t\n\t\t\t<h2><a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/madalcafe/\" style=\"cursor: pointer; text-decoration-line: underline; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; font-style: normal; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(233, 235, 238);\">Madal Cafe - Specialty Coffee Bar</a></h2>\t\t\n\t\tProbably the best coffee in Budapest, with all sorts of alternative milk and some amazing vegan sweets. Madal is all about ZEN, Karma, and precision. The minimalist design and low volume choir music inspired me to meditate before diving into my tasks. In Ferenciek tere there's a cool working gallery while at Hollan Erno branch the work space is located at the basement. This cute coffee hides in a small alley behind the most expensive street in Budapest. For many years Andrassy Utca is said to be the \"eastern European version\" of&nbsp; Av. des Champs-Élysées, well, at least the prices match the image.&nbsp;<br style=\"text-align: left;\">But this hole in the corner of the posh-ridiculously expensive avenue got me this cool confidence of beating the system. Great coffee and sandwiches in a reasonable price, along side an extraordinary feeling sitting cross legged in the front, watching the world moving on, while I live in it, my own special pace and style.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br></p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<iframe frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" marginheight=\"0\" marginwidth=\"0\" src=\"https://maps.google.com/maps?q=next%20door%20caffee&amp;t=m&amp;z=10&amp;output=embed&amp;iwloc=near\" aria-label=\"next door caffee\"></iframe>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img width=\"660\" height=\"449\" src=\"https://thisisjourney24.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/next-door-caffee-750x510.jpg\" alt=\"\" /><br/>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<p>Eventually you'll understand that working in coffee shops can turn out  to be quite expensive, and for sure will not benefit your thighs (all those cakes...). I found out public libraries can serve many needs. while  the  quiet atmosphere increases levels of concentration, I tend to lose focus when facing those young hot students. They seem to put a lot of effort to meet their parents expectations, and get good grades, but all I can think of is how I will teach them...well...never mind. </p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<h2><a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/ELTEkonyvtar/\" style=\"cursor: pointer; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; font-style: normal; white-space: normal; background-color: rgb(233, 235, 238);\">ELTE Egyetemi Könyvtár és Levéltár</a></h2>\t\t\n\t\tSee these red and black thingy's on the right? These are the true reasons why I love this reading room. To be honest - you see one ancient reading room, you've seen them all.
