bodyHAPPY NEW YEARS! I hope you guys are gearing up to have a fantastic NYE night, I know a few of you have asked me to talk about cameras and equipment used to film so I wanted to post this video to show the equipment I use as well as what you could use to start with very minimal costs - such as using your phone to record! Creating content takes a lot of time and it can be frustrating but if you find you love it, it can be the most rewarding thing ever! It also trains a lot of skills like detail orientation, mental discipline, creativity, etc. When I first started I had no idea where to go, so hopefully this video can steer you in the right direction if you are wanting to get started! And you should, cause Dtube is AWESOME!!!

bodyOne of the most interesting food experiences during my visit to Taiwan earlier this year was a visit to one of the signature Taiwanese shrimp fishing venues located in Taipei. Shrimping, also known as Prawning, is an activity unique to Taiwan until very recently. It involves using a lightweight fishing rod to "fish" for fresh water Prawns from murky indoor pools. The goal, to catch as many Prawns as possible and secure yourself a deliciously fresh and well earned dinner! In China, it is standard to eat Prawns fresh. But there are yet to be any Prawning venues in the mainland, as such, the activity is extremely curious to me and many of my mainland friends. The experience is frequently brought up during conversations about visits to Taiwan by many of my friends in China. I decided I needed to experience this activity first hand to see what all the fuss is about, meanwhile put my prawn fishing skills to the test! The first step to getting the Prawn on the hook is finding the ideal venue. Most of the popular touristy Prawning venues are situated around the Shilin District which is also famous for it's nightmarket. The venue I chose is in the Zhongshan District along Jinzhou Street. QuanJiaLe (全佳樂釣蝦場) is a small understated venue with almost no foreign exposure. Where other venues will annotate everything in English alongside Chinese, QJL offers it's services entirely in Chinese, it comes across a bit raw, even unapproachable, but let's not judge a book by it's cover. It is after-all, the authenticity and experience which counts! Inside, the place is not too large, the main function is of course prawn fishing, so the center piece occupying the most space is the pool. This is where all the Shrimp and Prawns are, and huddling around the pool, are all the keen fisher(wo)men. At the back, you'll find the kitchen area, and that's also where the Shrimp stock is held. Every hour or so, the owner will come throw a few buckets full of fresh shrimp into the pool to replace those that have been caught by the guests. This as it turns out, is an unspoken metric for how "good" a place is. The more shrimps swimming around in the pool, the more chance you have of catching them, especially if you're a complete amateur like me! Prices can vary, but expect to pay around 7 dollars an hour for the experience with the typical session lasting for about 3 hours. This will include rental of the fishing rod, use of the bait, and of course any shrimp you catch will be yours to eat! After checking in, it's time to shrimp! First things first, the bait. Supplied inside a mini-fridge by the front counter are chicken guts. Take a few pieces of these to your spot, and cut them into little pieces. The next step is to test the depth of the water and adjust the distance between the hook and the float. The owner was kind enough to help me with this as I had no idea what depth would be best. Place a bit of the bait on each of the hooks (there are two), and you're ready to go! U5dtGtKoDhivxBP8jdxDgEar8Mh5wcz_1680x8400.jpg Once the bait's out, it's now a matter of watching the float and waiting for some bites from the shrimp. It will be really obvious when they're taking bites, the entire float submerges under the water. My little trick is to keep the line almost taut. That way, when the shrimp bites, I can tug really quickly and have minimal delay in pulling the hook up. And voila! My first catch! It's surprising how much the shrimp can fight back. The lightweight rod bends a lot as they tug back trying to escape. I will be the first to admit, I am completely terrified of touching the shrimp and I had great difficulty unhooking them each time I caught one. Thankfully, an experienced uncle helped me with the unhooking each time. After three hours, this was my haul! Around 30 to 40 in total. This is definitely the place you want to visit if you're a beginner because it is so easy! I've heard and read reviews of other places where beginners only manage single digit hauls. This is largely down to the generosity of the owner and how many shrimp he is willing to put in the pool. Owners looking to make a larger profit margin will be quite stingy when it comes to putting more shrimp in the pool, clearly this owner wants his customers happy because the shrimp were flying out by the dozen! Preparing the Shrimp to eat After sitting down for three hours and catching all these shrimp, it's time to eat! There are many ways to cook shrimp, but the most common is barbecued on a stick. For the braver ones amongst you, you can prepare this yourself. First you declaw them, then skewer them right through the length of their body, all while they're still alive. Once they're skewered, dip them in some salt and then they're ready to be barbecued. Barbecue shrimps are a favourite because of how simple and easy they are to prepare (provided you're not squeamish), but you can also opt for a chef prepared dish for a little extra. I decided to go half and half, Barbecued salted shrimps, and Thai style lemon shrimp. These are my shrimp being barbecued. Soon they'll be a golden red colour, ready to eat. The Thai style shrimp is a little more complicated to prepare. First the chef "declaws" the shrimp by cutting off it's claws, legs and part of it's head, then proceeds to cut open the back to devein the shrimp. It's rather barbaric but at least the chef works fast and efficient.

bodyGoing to begin a new chapter in my Steemit adventures. And also give some of you something to help you forget about this week's crypto drop and keep your eye on the big picture... Last year was all about starting the Steemit Book Club (thanks @the-alien). This year, I’m going to start posting the raw versions of my Rolling Stone stories. Many times, there are parts of a story that have to be cut because there’s not enough space in the print magazine (yes, that’s still a thing). Sometimes they make the story better, and other times you lose great quotes and scenes. In the case of the Elon Musk story, the most extensive interview he’s agreed to in years (or possibly ever), there were whole wide swathes of the story that were cut for these reasons. So here, on Steemit only, is the full unexpurgated article. If you haven’t read the original, I think you’ll understand Elon, what he’s doing it, and why he’s doing it in a whole new way after reading this opus. Enjoy… ELON MUSK: The Architect of Tomorrow PART I The Vision of Elon Musk Q: Do you believe in God? Musk: I try to let the weight of evidence determine my opinion. It's mid-afternoon on a Friday at SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California, and three of Elon Musk's children are gathered around him – one of his triplets, both of his twins. Musk is wearing a gray T-shirt and sitting in a swivel chair at his desk, which is not in a private office behind a closed door, but in an accessible corner cubicle festooned with outer-space novelty items, photos of his rockets, and mementos from Tesla and his other companies. Most tellingly, there's a framed poster of a shooting star with a caption underneath it that reads, "When you wish upon a falling star, your dreams can come true. Unless it's really a meteor hurtling to the Earth which will destroy all life. Then you're pretty much hosed, no matter what you wish for. Unless it's death by meteorite." To most people, this would be mere dark humor, but in this setting, it's also a reminder of Musk's master plan: to create habitats for humanity on other planets and moons. If we don't send our civilization into another Dark Ages before Musk or one of his dream's inheritors pull it off, then Musk will likely be remembered as one of the most seminal figures of this millennium. Kids on all the terraformed planets of the universe will look forward to Musk Day, when they get the day off to commemorate the birth of the first Earthling to show humanity that it’s possible to live on other planets, the man who single-handedly ushered in the era of space colonialization. And that's just one of Musk's ambitions. Others include converting automobiles, households and as much industry as possible from fossil fuels to sustainable energy; implementing a new form of high-speed city-to-city transportation via vacuum tube; relieving traffic congestion with a honeycomb of underground tunnels fitted with electric skates for cars and commuters; creating a mind-computer interface to enhance human health and brainpower; and saving humanity from the future threat of an artificial intelligence that may one day run amok and decide, quite rationally, to eliminate the irrational human species. So far, Musk, 46, has accomplished none of these goals. But what he has done is something that very few living people can claim: Painstakingly bulldozed, with no experience whatsoever, into two fields with ridiculously high barriers to entry – car manufacturing (Tesla) and rocketry (SpaceX) – and created the best products in those industries, as measured by just about any meaningful metric you can think of. In the process, he's managed to sell the world on his capability to achieve objectives so lofty that from the mouth of anyone else, they'd be called fantasies. At least, most of the world. "I'm looking at the short losses," Musk says, transfixed by CNBC on his iPhone. He speaks to his kids without looking up. "Guys, check this out: Tesla has the highest short position in the entire stock market. A $9 billion short position." His children lean over the phone, looking at a table full of numbers that I don't understand. So his 13-year-old, Griffin, explains it to me: "They're betting that the stock goes down, and they're getting money off that. But it went up high, so they lost an insane amount of money." "They're jerks who want us to die," Musk elaborates. "They're constantly trying to make up false rumors and amplify any negative rumors. It's a really big incentive to lie and attack my integrity. It's really awful. It's..." He trails off, as he often does when preoccupied by a thought. I try to help: "Unethical?" "It's..." He shakes his head and struggles for the right word, then says softly, "Hurtful." It is easy to confuse who someone is with what they do, and thus turn them into a caricature who fits neatly into a storybook view of the world. Our culture always needs its villains and heroes, fools and geniuses, scapegoats and role models. Our brains can’t hold all the data about a person, so instead we tend to label and file someone into a single narrow category. And so, despite opinions to the contrary, Elon Musk is not a robot sent from the future to save humanity. Nor is he a Silicon Valley savant whose emotional affect has been replaced with supercomputer-like intelligence. Over the course of nine months of reporting, watching Musk do everything from strategize Mars landings with his rocket-engineering team to find out how his artificial-intelligence experts programmed the first AI to ever win a competitive eSports tournament, I learned he is someone far, far different from what his myth and reputation suggest. The New York Times has called him "arguably the most successful and important entrepreneur in the world." It's an easy case to make: He's probably the only person who has started four billion-dollar companies – PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX and Solar City. But at his core, Musk is not a businessman or entrepreneur. He's an engineer, inventor and, as he puts it, "technologist." And as a naturally gifted engineer, he's able to find the design inefficiencies, flaws and complete oversights in the tools that power our civilization. "He's able to see things more clearly in a way that no one else I know of can understand," says his brother, Kimbal. He discusses his brother's love of chess in their earlier years, and adds, "There's a thing in chess where you can see 12 moves ahead if you're a grandmaster. And in any particular situation, Elon can see things 12 moves ahead." PART II The Solitude of Elon Musk Q: What do you think happens when you die? Musk: I think you cease to exist. I hope I’m wrong in a positive way. But most likely, you’re just gone. His children soon leave for the home of their mother, Musk's ex-wife Justine. "I wish we could be private with Tesla," Musk murmurs as they exit. "It actually makes us less efficient to be a public company." What follows is ... silence. Musk sits at his desk, looking at his phone, but not typing or reading anything. He then lowers himself to the floor, and stretches his back on a foam roller. When he finishes, I attempt to start the interview by asking about the Tesla Model 3 launch a week earlier, and what it felt like to stand onstage and tell the world he'd just pulled off a plan 14 years in the making: to bootstrap, with luxury electric cars, a mass-market electric car. The accomplishment, for Musk, is not just in making a $35,000 electric car; it's in making a $35,000 electric car that's so good, and so in-demand, that it forces other car manufacturers to phase out gas cars to compete. And sure enough, within two months of the launch, both GM and Jaguar Land Rover announced they were planning to eliminate gas cars and go all-electric. Musk thinks for a while, begins to answer, then pauses. "Uh, actually, let me go to the restroom. Then I'll ask you to repeat that question." A longer pause. "I also have to unload other things from my mind." Five minutes later, Musk still hasn't returned. Sam Teller, his chief of staff, says, "I'll be right back." Several minutes after that, they both reappear and huddle nearby, whispering to each other. Then Musk returns to his desk. "We can reschedule for another day if this is a bad time," I offer. Musk clasps his hands on the surface of the desk, composes himself, and declines. "It might take me a little while to get into the rhythm of things." Then he heaves a sigh and ends his effort at composure. "I just broke up with my girlfriend," he says hesitantly. "I was really in love, and it hurt bad." He pauses and corrects himself: "Well, she broke up with me more than I broke up with her, I think." Thus, the answer to the question posed earlier: It felt unexpectedly, disappointingly, uncontrollably horrible to launch the Model 3. "I've been in severe emotional pain for the last few weeks," Musk elaborates. "Severe. It took every ounce of will to be able to do the Model 3 event and not look like the most depressed guy around. For most of that day, I was morbid. And then I had to psych myself up: drink a couple of Red Bulls, hang out with positive people and then, like, tell myself: 'I have all these people depending on me. All right, do it!'" Minutes before the event, after meditating for pretty much the first time in his life to get centered, Musk chose a very telling song to drive onstage to: "R U Mine?" by the Arctic Monkeys. Musk discusses the breakup for a few more minutes, then asks, earnestly, deadpan, "Is there anybody you think I should date? It's so hard for me to even meet people." He swallows and clarifies, stammering softly, "I'm looking for a long-term relationship. I'm not looking for a one-night stand. I'm looking for a serious companion or soulmate, that kind of thing." I eventually tell him that it may not be a good idea to jump right into another relationship. He may want to take some time to himself and figure out why his previous relationships haven't worked in the long run: his marriage to writer Justine Musk, his marriage to actress Talulah Riley, and this new breakup with actress Amber Heard. Musk shakes his head and grimaces: "If I'm not in love, if I'm not with a long-term companion, I cannot be happy." I explain that needing someone so badly that you feel like nothing without them is textbook codependence. Musk disagrees. Strongly. "It's not true," he replies petulantly. "I will never be happy without having someone. Going to sleep alone kills me." He hesitates, shakes his head, falters, continues. "It's not like I don't know what that feels like: Being in a big empty house, and the footsteps echoing through the hallway, no one there – and no one on the pillow next to you. Fuck. How do you make yourself happy in a situation like that?" There's truth to what Musk is saying. It is lonely at the top. But not for everyone. It's lonely at the top for those who were lonely at the bottom. "When I was a child, there's one thing I said," Musk continues. His demeanor is stiff, yet in the sheen of his eyes and the trembling of his lips, a tide of emotion is visible, pushing against the retaining walls. "'I never want to be alone.' That's what I would say." His voice drops to a whisper. "I don't want to be alone." A ring of red forms around his eyes as he stares forward and sits frozen in silence. Musk is a titan, a visionary, a human-size lever pushing forward massive historical inevitabilities – the kind of person who comes around only a few times in a century – but in this moment, he seems like a child who is afraid of abandonment. And that may be the origin story of Musk's superambitions, but more on that later. In the meantime, Musk has something he'd like to show me. "If you say anything about what you're about to see, it would cost us billions," he says, rising from his desk. "And you would be put in jail."

Then Musk returns to his desk.\n\n\"We can reschedule for another day if this is a bad time,\" I offer.\n\nMusk clasps his hands on the surface of the desk, composes himself, and declines.\n\n\"It might take me a little while to get into the rhythm of things.\"\n\nThen he heaves a sigh and ends his effort at composure. \"I just broke up with my girlfriend,\" he says hesitantly. \"I was really in love, and it hurt bad.\"\n\nHe pauses and corrects himself: \"Well, she broke up with me more than I broke up with her, I think.\"\n\nThus, the answer to the question posed earlier: It felt unexpectedly, disappointingly, uncontrollably horrible to launch the Model 3.\n\n\"I've been in severe emotional pain for the last few weeks,\" Musk elaborates. \"Severe. It took every ounce of will to be able to do the Model 3 event and not look like the most depressed guy around. For most of that day, I was morbid. And then I had to psych myself up: drink a couple of Red Bulls, hang out with positive people and then, like, tell myself: 'I have all these people depending on me. All right, do it!'\"\n\nMinutes before the event, after meditating for pretty much the first time in his life to get centered, Musk chose a very telling song to drive onstage to: \"R U Mine?\" by the Arctic Monkeys.\n\nMusk discusses the breakup for a few more minutes, then asks, earnestly, deadpan, \"Is there anybody you think I should date? It's so hard for me to even meet people.\" He swallows and clarifies, stammering softly, \"I'm looking for a long-term relationship. I'm not looking for a one-night stand. I'm looking for a serious companion or soulmate, that kind of thing.\"\n\nI eventually tell him that it may not be a good idea to jump right into another relationship. He may want to take some time to himself and figure out why his previous relationships haven't worked in the long run: his marriage to writer Justine Musk, his marriage to actress Talulah Riley, and this new breakup with actress Amber Heard.\n\nMusk shakes his head and grimaces: \"If I'm not in love, if I'm not with a long-term companion, I cannot be happy.\"\n\nI explain that needing someone so badly that you feel like nothing without them is textbook codependence.\n\nMusk disagrees. Strongly. \"It's not true,\" he replies petulantly. \"I will never be happy without having someone. Going to sleep alone kills me.\" He hesitates, shakes his head, falters, continues. \"It's not like I don't know what that feels like: Being in a big empty house, and the footsteps echoing through the hallway, no one there – and no one on the pillow next to you. Fuck. How do you make yourself happy in a situation like that?\"\n\nThere's truth to what Musk is saying. It is lonely at the top. But not for everyone. It's lonely at the top for those who were lonely at the bottom.\n\n\"When I was a child, there's one thing I said,\" Musk continues. His demeanor is stiff, yet in the sheen of his eyes and the trembling of his lips, a tide of emotion is visible, pushing against the retaining walls. \"'I never want to be alone.' That's what I would say.\" His voice drops to a whisper. \"I don't want to be alone.\"\n\nA ring of red forms around his eyes as he stares forward and sits frozen in silence. In the meantime, Musk has something he'd like to show me.\n\n\"If you say anything about what you're about to see, it would cost us billions,\" he says, rising from his desk. \"And you would be put in jail.\"",

Time-TravelerImage Source: Image from Pixabay. Credits to geralt for time-traveler, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. It was, in fact, an article I found over four (4) years ago on Reddit written by a person who named him/herself (on Reddit) as Luka Magnotta. The article was published on August 31, 2013. (It took me quite amount of time now to find it among my old bookmarks.) It was an interesting read at that time (2013) as Luka was talking from the perspective of the year 2025 about the years 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2025, all of which seemed like a distant future at the time when I was reading it for the first time. Time MachineImage Source: Author's derivative work with image from Pixabay. Credits to DasWortgewand for time-machine, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. The story he/she was telling sounded a bit like, I believe, Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" must have been sounded to the majority of its first readers in 1870 when the book was published. I don't think many people back then, at that distant 1870 already knew that "Sub Marine Explorer" was the first submarine who only four years before (in 1866), controlled by the crew managed to dive successfully, cruise underwater, and resurface. Very likely, the majority as well didn't know that true Nautilus, very alike the creature - submarine Vern was describing in his book, France built even earlier (70 years before) in 1800 or even less the first submarine had been made, in fact, 250 years before Vern's book was published, in 1620 by Dutch engineer Cornelis Jacobszoon Drebbel. All of this might be self-understandable if we take into consideration that people in 1870 didn't have Internet, didn't even have the telephone (as it was invented six years later, in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell), and accordingly, the news was traveling very slow. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Graham_Bell You might be asking yourself now... But, what all these have to do with us today? BitcoinImage Source: Image from Pixabay. Credits to allanlau2000 for bitcoin-coin, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. I was triggered by recent events around Bitcoin which had a huge jump, only in the past month (from around $6,000 to current $16,000), we have just witnessed. As well, led by old Latin proverb told to us by Cicero "Historia magistra vitae est." (History is a life's teacher.), that should provoke us to study past and use it as a lesson for the future; I was inspired to dig, find and read again that warning message from the time-traveler I have stumbled upon over four years ago. MessageImage Source: Author's derivative work with image from Pixabay. Credits to Ridderhof for background-text, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. In that message, Luka Magnotta, as the time-traveler, was telling how Bitcoin would behave in the coming years. So, in 2013th he/she said the Bitcoin would reach the amount of $1,000 US two years later, in 2015. We can say, he was somewhat wrong about that one as Bitcoin from $100 in August 2013 managed to reach $1,000 for the first time, only three (3) months later, at the end of November 2013. After that, it dropped down and during 2014 was circling around $400 with few summer jumps to around $600. 2015 in the mid of January started with another big drop down to $200 and the year finished by Bitcoin reaching again $400 in which range was fluctuating the first half of 2016. The first big jump started again at the very end of May 2016, reaching back the $1,000 in the first few days of 2017. For 2017 Luka said Bitcoin would reach the amount of $10,000. Bitcoin Jump UpImage Source: Author's derivative work with image from Pixabay. Credits to geralt for bitcoin-stock, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. Somewhere in the mid of January this year (2017), only 12 months ago, when Bitcoin dropped below $800 it didn't seem very likely that it would reach $10,000 or even less $16,000 by the end of the year, but it did. Luka said that in 2019 Bitcoin would reach the price of $100,000 and in 2021 $1,000,000. He/she said, from that point onwards, it would be impossible to express the Bitcoin value in dollars as the dollars wouldn't exist anymore, and the only existing values in which the wealth would be measured is land and cryptocurrency. And you might ask now, what's the problem with that and... What we should be warned about? BitcoinImage Source: Image from Pixabay. Credits to geralt for bitcoin-coin, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. A few days ago @prufarchy, in his "The Bitcoin Transformation" post said... I never thought I'd live to see the banking system afraid. He also said... I watched MNC's (Multi-National Corporations) overtake the legislative processes of other countries through manipulative financial schemes that did nothing to benefit the host country. And I can't agree more with him. In other words, the occurrence of Bitcoin followed by all the other cryptocurrencies, in some or even many ways, became not only our chase but even a scream for freedom. It became a way, we all believed or still do, that would liberate us from big player's and big brother's control, from manipulative and controlling corporations, banking cartels and governments. But what if we are wrong or at least not entirely right? Time-TravelerImage Source: Image from Pixabay. Credits to Greendragon-Gecko for steampunk-time-clock, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. In his/her warning message, Luka Magnotta said that many governments were secretly buying Bitcoin, trying to ensure their resistance. Their large volume Bitcoin purchases caused even more significant value increase of the Bitcoin, but despite that most of the governments don't exist anymore (in 2025) as those Bitcoins ended up on private accounts of greedy government employees who vanished afterward. He/she also said that the leading institutions which hold the most considerable accessible Bitcoin amounts (in the year 2025) would be ASICminer, The IMF's currency stabilization fund, Government of Saudi Arabia and The North Korean government. The economic growth would be only -2% per year as most of the people would hold enough Bitcoin to last them for a lifetime what would eliminate every incentive to invest the money. He/she also said... After seeing the enormous damage done to the fabric of society, terrorist movements emerged that sought to hunt down and murder anyone known to have a large balance of Bitcoin, or believed to be responsible in any way for the development of cryptocurrency. Ironically, these terrorist movements use Bitcoin to anonymously fund their operations. Most people who own any significant amount of Bitcoin no longer speak to their families and lost their friends, because they had to change their identities. Maybe we could agree that Luka Magnotta in his/her Reddit article "I am a time-traveler from the future, here to beg you to stop what you are doing" exaggerate and paint many highly unlikely things, possibilities and outcomes. But what if...??? What if this quite intriguing four years old (SF or not) story is still trying to show us the other side of the coin we can't see somewhat blinded by our goal? Turning back to the Jules Verne's "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" book that I mentioned at the beginning, and whose story, back then, very likely seemed equally science fictional (because most of its readers haven't been aware of submarine existence and discovery) as Luka's story might appear to us today, and also recalling onto old Latin proverb *"Historia magistra vitae est." - while I'm trying to build a better future, I'm asking myself what are the lessons I should learn from history? LibraryImage Source: Image from Pixabay. Credits to Mysticsartdesign for library-sky, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license. Despite the telephone, mobile phones, tablets, computers, all other high tech devices and Internet connection that we have at our disposal today that makes us feel we could reach any needed information anytime, the question is - Is that really so? Are the main achievements and discoveries most important for humankind still very well hidden from us, kept in secrecy and accessible only to a few of elite ones? What if we are making our decisions and planning our actions, in fact, in the very predictable ways because of such partial knowledge and awareness? How much out of the box and how much broader and deeper we should think and act to change that if that's so? And last but not least, what if instead of building a better and brighter future which would liberate us from all the barriers and chains in which we are now, in fact, we are just walking deeper into a very well designed different trap which proportions and perhaps entirely opposite than expected outcomes we can't see either imagine or even less comprehend yet? Credits to geralt for time-traveler, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license.\n\nIt was, in fact, an article I found over four (4) years ago on Reddit written by a person who named him/herself (on Reddit) as Luka Magnotta. The article was published on August 31, 2013. (It took me quite amount of time now to find it among my old bookmarks.)\n\nIt was an interesting read at that time (2013) as Luka was talking from the perspective of the year 2025 about the years 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2025, all of which seemed like a distant future at the time when I was reading it for the first time.\n\nTime MachineImage Source: Author's derivative work with image from Pixabay. Credits to DasWortgewand for time-machine, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license.\n\nThe story he/she was telling sounded a bit like, I believe, Jules Verne's \"Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea\" must have been sounded to the majority of its first readers in 1870 when the book was published.\n\nI don't think many people back then, at that distant 1870 already knew that \"Sub Marine Explorer\" was the first submarine who only four years before (in 1866), controlled by the crew managed to dive successfully, cruise underwater, and resurface.\n\nVery likely, the majority as well didn't know that true Nautilus, very alike the creature - submarine Vern was describing in his book, France built even earlier (70 years before) in 1800 or even less the first submarine had been made, in fact, 250 years before Vern's book was published, in 1620 by Dutch engineer Cornelis Jacobszoon Drebbel.\n\nAll of this might be self-understandable if we take into consideration that people in 1870 didn't have Internet, didn't even have the telephone (as it was invented six years later, in 1876 by Alexander Graham Bell), and accordingly, the news was traveling very slow.\n\nhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Graham_Bell\n\nYou might be asking yourself now...\n\nBut, what all these have to do with us today?\nBitcoinImage Source: Image from Pixabay. Credits to allanlau2000 for bitcoin-coin, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license.\n\nI was triggered by recent events around Bitcoin which had a huge jump, only in the past month (from around $6,000 to current $16,000), we have just witnessed.\n\nAs well, led by old Latin proverb told to us by Cicero \"Historia magistra vitae est.\" (History is a life's teacher.), that should provoke us to study past and use it as a lesson for the future; I was inspired to dig, find and read again that warning message from the time-traveler I have stumbled upon over four years ago.\n\nMessageImage Source: Author's derivative work with image from Pixabay. Credits to Ridderhof for background-text, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license.\n\nIn that message, Luka Magnotta, as the time-traveler, was telling how Bitcoin would behave in the coming years. So, in 2013th he/she said the Bitcoin would reach the amount of $1,000 US two years later, in 2015. We can say, he was somewhat wrong about that one as Bitcoin from $100 in August 2013 managed to reach $1,000 for the first time, only three (3) months later, at the end of November 2013.\n\nAfter that, it dropped down and during 2014 was circling around $400 with few summer jumps to around $600. 2015 in the mid of January started with another big drop down to $200 and the year finished by Bitcoin reaching again $400 in which range was fluctuating the first half of 2016.\n\nThe first big jump started again at the very end of May 2016, reaching back the $1,000 in the first few days of 2017.\n\nFor 2017 Luka said Bitcoin would reach the amount of $10,000.\nBitcoin Jump UpImage Source: Author's derivative work with image from Pixabay. Credits to geralt for bitcoin-stock, used under the CC0 Creative Commons license.\n\nSomewhere in the mid of January this year (2017), only 12 months ago, when Bitcoin dropped below $800 it didn't seem very likely that it would reach $10,000 or even less $16,000 by the end of the year, but it did.\n\nLuka said that in 2019 Bitcoin would reach the price of $100,000 and in 2021 $1,000,000. He/she said, from that point onwards, it would be impossible to express the Bitcoin value in dollars as the dollars wouldn't exist anymore, and the only existing values in which the wealth would be measured is land and cryptocurrency.\n\nAnd you might ask now, what's the problem with that and...\n\nWhat we should be warned about?\nBitcoinImage Source: Image from Pixabay. bodyactually it is surprise that litecoin is moving upward and it has done the movement of 70 to 80 dollars but is because the bitcoins is increasing gradually and people are looking for better and cheap alternatives and litecoin is also my choice as well and the other major reason is bitcoin unconfirmed transactions did u know bitcoin has more than 200k unconfirmed transactions So, users are moving to other coins, faster than Bitcoin. Prices reflect this movement: Bitcoin price is stable or slowly decreasing, altcoins are growing. Personally I expected today a great pump of bitcoin Cash too, that is another good alternative to bitcoin and was created as a tentative to solve network problems of bitcoin. This is not happening, but my investment portfolio includes both Bitcoin Cash and Litecoin (and 0 bitcoin), so take it easy and no problems... We will see in the next hours. have u purchased the litecoin then u are immediately enjyoing the trade and the profit because i also got 70 dollars in some time donate me some bitcoins

bodyThere are many things which u have to take care so that u can come out at the top of bitcion bubble ![U5dtLmPVgf3FMr7RfF1k3Kdwjdmegie_1680x8400.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmf9fSkwqTQoHGR7BD8xmRFKotguUQt8sgoEirdS8KpC1N/U5dtLmPVgf3FMr7RfF1k3Kdwjdmegie_1680x8400.jpg) Hey guys, like the first situation is when all the people started involving in single term and they are also quitting their jobs now the question is is this happening then my answer is yes because many of the people quitted their jobs and started trading in crypto currencies and 2 thing many people are started mining but we cant say anything exactly 2. condition is when all of your friends and relatives started talking about this and u think i dont know what the thing is now again come to real situation what is going on then is it exactly right now happening everybody on every social media started promoting crypto currencies now my answer is yes this can be the sign according to me of bitcoin bubble but i didnot have solution but Satoshi's big cousin's says, "NO we are not in a Bitcoin bubble". Bubbles pop when they can no longer expand. Do you think crypto currencies can no longer expand?" Here are some reasons why there's no bubble: In a recent article a Bitcoinist reports "Famous investor and ex-hedge fund manager, Michael Novogratz, predicts that the crypto currency market will be worth $5 trillion in 5 years". That's almost fifty time the current martket cap size! http://bitcoinist.com/a-5-trillion-cryptocurrency-empire/ International Electronic Money Transfers Data from the World bank shows Remittance transfers, or electronic money transfers to foreign countries, have almost doubled over the past 15 years and while we can't always depend on the past to determine future behavior we certainly have no evidence suggesting the market will behave otherwise. Global Uncertainty Look out for the fake news out there guys. The media likes to spread fear uncertainty and doubt. This could lead to less confidence in global currencies only strengthening crypto. Jeremy Lieu believes geo political uncertainty will increase the value of Bitcoin. "We believe Bitcoin awareness, high liquidity, ease of transport and continued market outperformance as geopolitical risks mount, will make Bitcoin a strong contender for investment at a consumer and investor level," he's says. The Business Insider article linked above explains there's only a 63% global smartphone penetration and that the total number of smartphone users is expected to soar by 1 billion by 2020. Bitcoin's user network grew from 120,000 users in 2013 to 6.5 million users in 2017. More users could account to more transactions. By 2030 Bitcoin supply will be about 20 million, only increasing the demand. Mr. Lieu believes this is all reasonable and Bitcoin will reach $500,000 by 2030. Let's be clear here As many of the people are involving in crypto currencies and market cap is increasing day by day So it is difficult to predict that when it is going to burst What do you think? Are we in a Bitcoin bubble? Leave a comment below. donate me some bitcoins if you want to me to get in this risk 1CSkXtvQxWDhTRe8GJL2Kz3cmA4M4RGFtt
