| title | Is Cryptocurrency Capitalization a bubble? |
| body | First of all; I wanna say that I am not against and I am not for on Cryptocurrency Capitalization. I just wanna serve objective perspective for that trend. There are three main idea on Cryptocurrency Capitalization: 1)It's a bubble. 2)It's an opportunity for low-budget investors. 3)We're on tech-age, so material values started to adapt this age. Actually I support the third idea. I am not comfortable with it but It's happening. Like the first law of the nature : "Adapt or die". So it does not matter if we like it or don't but we should adapt it. So after that thought I started to research on economic bubbles in history. There is a large economic bubble which draw my attention. "Mississippi Bubble", actually the largest one.(Except Tulip Bubble, it's actually socio-economic bubble. In the end there were a lot of beautiful flowers in Netherlands. :) ) "In May 1716, the Banque Générale Privée ("General Private Bank"), which developed the use of paper money, was set up by John Law. It was a private bank , but three quarters of the capital consisted of government bills and government-accepted notes." That was the beginning of the big idea and actually there was a government support. "The bank became the Banque Royale (Royal Bank) in 1718, meaning the notes were guaranteed by the king, Louis XV of France. Simultaneously, the bank began issuing more notes than it could represent in coinage; this led to an economic inflation, which was eventually followed by a bank run when the value of the new paper currency was halved." So it became the monopoly of the banking system in France. But there was a problem: inflation. "Law exaggerated the wealth of Louisiana with an effective marketing scheme, which led to wild speculation on the shares of the company in 1719. The scheme promised success for the Mississippi Company by combining investor fervor and the wealth of its Louisiana prospects into a sustainable, joint-stock, trading company." So low-budget investors hoped that they could be a rich. In first two paragraph i just share history of the Mississippi Company. But in this paragraph, we see the basics of the mechanism. Speculative market values, investor fervor and the wealth dreams are looks like what happened on Cryptocurrency Capitalization. "The popularity of company shares were such that they sparked a need for more paper bank notes, and when shares generated profits the investors were paid out in paper bank notes. Law's pioneering note-issuing bank thrived until the French government was forced to admit that the number of paper notes being issued by the Banque Royale exceeded the value of the amount of metal coinage it held." So that was the beginning of the end. "the number of paper notes being issued by the Banque Royale exceeded the value of the amount of metal coinage it held". That was the important point to compare on Cryptocurrency Capitalization and Mississippi Bubble. There's always a max supply for Cryptocurrencies. For example there could be maximum 21,000,000 BTC. So what or who determine the value of Cryptocurrencies? First of all interest. Like in every stock market, interest determines the instant value of currency. But there's a problem; That situation does not satisfy the public interest. Some concrete things must satisfy the value. So i made a calculation. The average mining value of 1 BTC is $2500 for asics and $3000 power cost and $1000 for something else. I calculated difficulties, costs, and something else and find average mining value of 1 BTC as $6500 in 2017. And we wake up 2018 with $14000 value for 1 BTC. I think this is fair. With that interest, that fund, and that capital. Then there's no inflation on BTC. And we all know that BTC is the flagship for the Cryptocurrency Capitalization. Then I left my doubts behinds on BTC. It is a currency for tech-age and it has the limited supply. It could be obtained by some mining effort(too fair). That was just for the BTC and it's mining. Also there's the using areas for BTC(barely but there's) and the start-up ideas based on blockchain tech with Cryptocurrencies. So the Crypto-Cap is becaming more concrete. "The "bubble" burst at the end of 1720, when opponents of the financier attempted to convert their notes into specie en masse , forcing the bank to stop payment on its paper notes." Can we convert our currencies as $,£,€ or something else that we call the "real money"? No doubt. So who want us to panic? I don't know, maybe no-one. Maybe we panic each other. And the other Cryptocurrencies(altcoins) are the different areas of the that Capitalization. It looks like a less-capital system the in the capitalist world. Of course there's some senseless coins. And they make us to think that Crypto-Cap is a bubble. Because they're really bubble to pop everyday. I think we should avoid the s-coins(no sarcasm:) ) and make this Capitalization to adopt that age. Then we can invest in the companies we want safely. Otherwise there's some risks like speculations, failure or spreads but this is the main mechanics on stock market. So if Cryptocurrency Capitalization is a bubble then all of the stock markets on world are bubble. :) That's was my perspective on Cryptocurreny Capitalization with compared a large historical economic bubble. Thanks for you reading. Source of the Mississippi Company informations: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mississippi_Company |

I just wanna serve objective perspective for that trend.\n\nThere are three main idea on Cryptocurrency Capitalization:\n1)It's a bubble.\n2)It's an opportunity for low-budget investors.\n3)We're on tech-age, so material values started to adapt this age.\n\nActually I support the third idea. I am not comfortable with it but It's happening. Like the first law of the nature : \"Adapt or die\". So it does not matter if we like it or don't but we should adapt it. So after that thought I started to research on economic bubbles in history.\n\nThere is a large economic bubble which draw my attention. \"Mississippi Bubble\", actually the largest one.(Except Tulip Bubble, it's actually socio-economic bubble. In the end there were a lot of beautiful flowers in Netherlands. :) )\n\n\"In May 1716, the Banque Générale Privée (\"General Private Bank\"), which developed the use of paper money, was set up by John Law. It was a private bank , but three quarters of the capital consisted of government bills and government-accepted notes.\"\n\nThat was the beginning of the big idea and actually there was a government support.\n \n\"The bank became the Banque Royale (Royal Bank) in 1718, meaning the notes were guaranteed by the king, Louis XV of France. Simultaneously, the bank began issuing more notes than it could represent in coinage; this led to an economic inflation, which was eventually followed by a bank run when the value of the new paper currency was halved.\"\n\nSo it became the monopoly of the banking system in France. But there was a problem: inflation. \n\n\"Law exaggerated the wealth of Louisiana with an effective marketing scheme, which led to wild speculation on the shares of the company in 1719. The scheme promised success for the Mississippi Company by combining investor fervor and the wealth of its Louisiana prospects into a sustainable, joint-stock, trading company.\"\n\n\n\nSo low-budget investors hoped that they could be a rich. In first two paragraph i just share history of the Mississippi Company. But in this paragraph, we see the basics of the mechanism. Speculative market values, investor fervor and the wealth dreams are looks like what happened on Cryptocurrency Capitalization. \n\n\"The popularity of company shares were such that they sparked a need for more paper bank notes, and when shares generated profits the investors were paid out in paper bank notes. Law's pioneering note-issuing bank thrived until the French government was forced to admit that the number of paper notes being issued by the Banque Royale exceeded the value of the amount of metal coinage it held.\"\n\nSo that was the beginning of the end. \"the number of paper notes being issued by the Banque Royale exceeded the value of the amount of metal coinage it held\". So the Crypto-Cap is becaming more concrete.\n\n\"The \"bubble\" burst at the end of 1720, when opponents of the financier attempted to convert their notes into specie en masse , forcing the bank to stop payment on its paper notes.\"\n\nCan we convert our currencies as $,£,€ or something else that we call the \"real money\"? No doubt. So who want us to panic? I don't know, maybe no-one. Maybe we panic each other. \n\nAnd the other Cryptocurrencies(altcoins) are the different areas of the that Capitalization. \n\nOtherwise there's some risks like speculations, failure or spreads but this is the main mechanics on stock market. So if Cryptocurrency Capitalization is a bubble then all of the stock markets on world are bubble. :)\n\nThat's was my perspective on Cryptocurreny Capitalization with compared a large historical economic bubble. | title | Is Cryptocurrency Capitalization a bubble? |
| body | First of all; I wanna say that I am not against and I am not for on Cryptocurrency Capitalization.
