      "body": "Yesterday, Currently, I've been waiting twenty-nine minutes for my Ethereum transaction to go through. I have put in a request to purchase my first Crypto kitty MC Coffee and it says someone could get him before me. He's around $12.\n\nI'm not kidding, I'm paying $12 for a cat that will just sit there and I've already picked out the one I want to breed him with to make my first kitten. The one I want to sire my kittens has a mustache.\n\nIf you would have asked me if this would be a thing a week ago I would probably have said no. I am now obsessed with this transaction going through. I feel like this is either the beginning of something huge or a waste of money. The rarest cat already sold for $100,000 dollars. Think about that for a minute, a digital cat just sold for the price of my house, well some of my house, but it's just insane.\n\nSome people are upset because the cats are clogging up the ether transactions. With over 3 million already spent in the Crypto Kitty universe, I can see why. \n\nAfter a lot of failed transactions I finally acquired this adorable kitty which I named Beeb because she looks like a beaver. She's now preggers because I bred her with another kitty. Yes, this is real. I paid to do this. I am excited about my new kitty and also that Bitcoin broke 19 k today.       "body": "Sometimes I start off writing these posts with no clue what I want to say. I live in the mountains so I'm gazing at some amazing leaf color right about now.  I've been holding some coins and waiting for something to happen to them. $POT went up like a million (more like 500 %) over the weekend and I wasn't even paying attention. I'm currently in the middle of NANOWRIMO and I'm three days behind with my word count. My daughter is sick so it derailed me from getting a lot done. My story is the second in my Spacetress series and so the plot veered in a strange way while I was trying to write and watch her. At some point there was a Corn Enthusiasts conference that turned kinky. If you're saying what, you should be because it truly makes no sense.\n\nI am still trading Forex but very carefully because I blew out my account so many times. My goal is to get to $100 in bitcoin so I can stick it in Coinbase and get some free coins from the fork. It seems like a difficult task considering I am literally growing in forex one .0001 at a time. The fork happens on the 16th I think so while I have time I have to be careful. \n\nI'm also looking for any work I can find writing and maxing out textbroker taking every job they have. If I keep at it I should be able to get the money needed to pay the rest of my bills for the month and possibly have a little extra. I had looked into bitconnect as a possible investment, but watched a lot of Youtube and read a lot of posts about it over the weekend and determined it isn't for me. Omise is a payment gateway company for Asia. The company helps businesses establish methods of payment. \n\nLooking at the team I see there's a few crypto names in the bunch.\n\nFirst there's the CEO of Golem, Julian Zawistowski. I'll have to go into Golem on a different post because it's an interesting project and deals with people renting out their computer's power. Julian Zawistowski in an interview with wetrust talked about the blockchain space. He talked about how the growth of all the crypto is a double edge sword. He mentions that the technology having coins provides financial opportunities, but it takes away from the technology which is the whole point. \n\n\nThe CEO of Omisego Jun Hasegawa has experience in the startup world. He has started other payment companies before Omise and founded several tech companies in Japan.\n\n>Jun Hasegawa Isn't Just a Name\n\nI like knowing some of the people on the team are out there talking about their feelings on crypto and while I really wish he had a Twitter, he's not just some name out there like other crypto CEOs.  (OmiseGo does have a Twitter presence)\n\nHe gave an interview to agent.media and here you learn a bit more about how OmiseGo came into existence. They had Omise and were on the cusp of launching their e-commerce company in Thailand, but there wasn't payment gateway they could use. Someone who'd invested suggested they start their own payment gateway and OmiseGo was born. It allowed customers to pay without high fees, and lots of documentation the other payment systems required. When asked his advice on people starting their own companies, he said, \"before thinking about fundraising, think bootstrapping.\"\n\nOMG is at $8.60 right now. It had a bit of a wild ride when it was added to Poly and Binance but it still didn't bust above $14.00. I'm holding for now, I bought in around $12.00. There is a lot of buzz about it on Twitter right now, but I'm watching for the breakout. Seems like it might be better as a longterm coin, what do you think?",

      "body": "How many of you write fiction? \nI've started a horror story in drafts, but it's taking a while to write it. I thought it would be fun to do some flash fiction and write a story together. \n\nThe basic idea is I give the first paragraph and then in the comments each person continues the story.
