titleKnow just minutes before coin being pumped
bodyMany of us joined Telegram groups of pumping groups but most of the the traders suffer loss from it. But if we track the coins in correct way we can make huge profit from it. There are according to me few methods from which you can know which coin will be pumped. As pump groups provides specific time when they will pump Just start tracking coins with low volume - note down their price and volume. The volume will remain almost same until 5 mins before pump but price will increase may be few hundred satoshis . Just 1 or 2 minutes before pump volume will increase may be 5 btc or more and suddenly volume will increases 100 to 300 btc when coin is announced. As traders starts buying and then they dump it. buy the coin before pump or when its has been dumped as it will rise again if you bought it before pump just sell with price increase of 3000 satoshis as it will dump after it mostly its too risky to participate in pumps be careful ![shutterstock_545154046.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmf2oF9ZzZhhxsibpMQgxeWsFRjEwVZdqMjRwtgcMpAnbt/shutterstock_545154046.jpg)

titleBarclays Bank Urges UK Regulators to Bring Bitcoin Into Play
bodyFrom last few years, there have been numerous attempts to regulate Bitcoin. So far, none of these efforts have been overly successful. The worst attempt is BitLicense, which effectively forced Bitcoin companies to leave New York state. It now appears the UK government may want to look into regulating Bitcoin as well. Or that is what Barclays CEO Ashok Vaswani feels, at least. In his opinion, Bitcoin regulation is directly needed in the UK. It is good to see Barclays engage in an open dialog with the UK regulators. Having the “support” of such a major bank can prove to be invaluable. Until a year or so ago, banks would try to harm Bitcoin through regulation, that no longer appears to be the case. It is still too early to tell what this dialog entails exactly. However, it seems the objective is to safely regulate Bitcoin and its associated activities by service providers. Having a line of communication between Barclays and the UK regulators will be quite beneficial in the end. The FCA, which oversees regulation of the financial sector is seemingly open-minded when it comes to cryptocurrency. For the time being, it appears there is “cautious optimism” regarding the future of Bitcoin regulation. That is a rather vague statement, but it goes to show the end result may not be as negative as some people would expect. More specifically, it appears the FCA has no intention of outlawing Bitcoin any time soon. Right now, the UK market is quite open minded toward both cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. Cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin are not seen as a threat, which is a good starting point. There is always a reason to be cautious when it comes to unregulated financial instruments, though. Coming up with some form of regulatory measures for Bitcoin would be a good start, to say the least. The future plans of Barclays and UK regulators remain shrouded in mystery for now. It is possible we will find out more information over the coming months. It is important to keep in mind the UK is not looking to hinder Bitcoin, by the look of things. Nor does it mean Bitcoin will be considered legal in the UK anytime soon. The future is uncertain, but it looks OK for now. These are amazing times for cryptocurrency in the world.

titleChina's Bank to Push for Blockchain in Five-Year Plan
bodyThe one of the most polular bank of China The People's Bank of China (PBoC) is releasing new details about a forthcoming five-year development plan focused on its strategy for advancing technology use in the country's domestic financial industry. According to the announcement by the central bank, the PBoC intends to actively push forward the development of new technologies such as blockchain and AI. It also plans to strengthen its research on applications of fintech in regulation, cloud computing and big data. The press release emphasizes that from 2016 to 2020 the PBoC will be taking steps to help China's financial industry embrace economic reform. Overall, the plan intends to put forward five goals for the financial technology industry: establishing a world-leading infrastructure, facilitating innovations in financial sector, implementing the financial industry standardization strategy and improving the competency and management of the financial network security system. Looking more broadly, the release, while not yet fully public, is the latest sign the PBoC is actively looking into the potential of blockchain technology. It was reported in last January that the PBoC had tested a blockchain-based digital currency, and it has since begun pushing for blockchain securities rules and publishing research papers.

titleBolenum Project Announces ICO and presale
bodyBolenum, the African focused Ethereum project announces its presale which will be between 22nd june with their full ICO beginning on the 15th of July. BOLENUM WANTS TO IMPROVE CRYPTOCURRENCY ADOPTION IN AFRICA The project aims to ensure financial inclusion by offering secured payment solutions, a trading exchange and also a secured wallet. Their team has identified that lack of education about cryptocurrencies is hindering adoption on the African continent. The Bolenum team is offering a total of 5,000,000 Boleno tokens to investors for the purpose of raising funds for its project. The project’s token, BLN, aims to serve as a secure payment method, and also be able to protect wealth. Tokens are Ether based to benefit from the speed and security that the network offers. The new trading exchange will not only withdraw the value of their tokens into local currencies but could give better access to the cryptosphere as a whole. If someone buys BLN with a local currency, they will be able to trade those BLNs on a different exchange for any other digital asset they were interested in. The funds accommodated by ICO can be used for project's education and promotion.

titleWhat is Proof of Elapsed Time?
bodyA few years ago, Intel came up with an interesting consensus algorithm which may find its way to cryptocurrency at some point in the future. This concept is known as Proof of Elapsed Time, which is quite interesting to keep an eye on. The goal is to properly achieve distributed consensus in an efficient manner. Whether or not any cryptocurrencies will ever incorporate this technology, remains to be seen though. PROOF OF ELAPSED TIME IS AN INTERESTING IDEA It is always interesting to check out the different distributed consensus algorithms in the world today. It is evident proof of work and proof of stake remain far more popular than any others right now. Then again, this situation may come to change at some point in the future. Proof of Elapsed Time is definitely a contender to shake things up a bit in the world of cryptocurrency. Right now, it is unclear if any developers are looking at integrating it, but it certainly has its merits. More specifically, this concept was first introduced by Intel a few years ago. Many people were surprised to see a technology giant introduce a distributed consensus mechanism of this kind. Then again, the company has been keeping an eye on blockchain technology and distributed ledgers for quite some time now. It is only normal they want to come up with some creative ideas and see how they work. Proof of Elapsed Time is designed to create a fair consensus model, which mainly focuses on efficiency. It revolves around distributing leader election across the largest possible amount of network participants. Moreover, the cost of controlling this process should be proportional to the value gained from it. This means people need to invest time – and possibly money – if they feel they can steer the ecosystem in a particular direction. Last but not least, all participants need to verify the leader was selected in a legitimate manner. What is even more peculiar is how Proof of Elapsed Time will achieve this goal by using new CPU instructions. Since these CPUs can be found in consumer electronics, everyone in the world is – in theory – eligible to be a part of such an ecosystem using this consensus mechanism. Moreover, it appears this consensus algorithm is incredibly energy efficient compared to proof of work, which is another factor to take into consideration. Nor does it appear there will ever be ASIC hardware to gain a competitive edge. On the Intel website, one could find a very technical explanation of how Proof of Elapsed time works in a real environment. It is evident the company is exploring this distributed consensus model as part of their Sawtooth project. Even though it is a distributed model, it seems to rely on some form of centralized leadership, which may make it less efficient for cryptocurrency purposes. Then again, one never knows if some modifications can be made to ensure it is a viable solution in a few years from now. Intel is definitely on to something with this Proof of Elapsed Time concept. It may certainly serve its purpose, given the fact it is very energy efficient and does not require expensive hardware to contribute to the network. Going back to the good old days of CPUs, rather than GPUs or ASICs, would be quite interesting to see in cryptocurrency. Leveling the playing field would have some interesting results, that much is certain.

titleNumber of Data Breaches Increased by 1.8% in 2016
bodyHomeNewsSecurityNumber of Data Breaches Increased by 1.8% in 2016 Number of Data Breaches Increased by 1.8% in 2016 JP Buntinx June 24, 2017 News, Security TheMerkle Data Breaches 2016 Tweet Share 4 +1 3 Share 2 Pin SHARES 9 Despite the number of data breaches still going up, there are some positive news as well. New research indicates the average cost per data breach is going down, which is a positive development. Unfortunately, this change can mainly be attributed to the US Dollar surging in value, rather than companies getting better at protecting their data. There is still a lot of work to be done, but it is good to see some form of a silver lining at least. DATA BREACH COSTS ARE DOWN, ATTACKS ARE UP Every type of research associated with online security is a mixed bag these days. On the positive side, the average costs of data breaches have decreased by 11.4% in 2016. This is good news for companies suffering from data breaches, even though the average cost still hovers around $3.6m. The bad news is how the number of data breaches increased by 1.8% in the same year. All of these numbers tell us two different things. First of all, companies are getting worse at keeping sensitive information safe. It was already quite bad in the years prior, but with more attacks taking place, it is evident there is little focus on improving countermeasures. That situation will need to be addressed sooner rather than later. The last thing we need is more successful data breaches, yet companies remain unwilling to do much about it for now. Second, it goes to show companies continue to underestimate the financial repercussions caused by a data breach. If the US Dollar wouldn’t have been on a strong run last year, the average cost would not have gone down either. Even so, suffering $3.6m in losses for a data breach is still a lot of money. It seems corporations are more than willing to make this financial hit and move on with their business. That is quite a troubling development, as no one should feel even remotely comfortable paying $3.6m for something they could have easily prevented. The new findings, presented by IBM Security’s Peter Allor, do not bode well for the future of data breaches. US residents have a 25% chance to become the victim of a data breach between now and 2019. That is not something to look forward to under any circumstance. Moreover, it appears victims have a higher chance to be caught in a recurring data breach later on, which only makes things worse. What is most remarkable about these new findings is how a proactive approach by companies can reduce costs even further. More specifically, undertaking action within 100 days after a data breach reduces costs by as much as 26%. It should never take over three months to successfully identify a data breach, but that is something we have to live with for the time being. Proper solutions need to be implemented, that much is evident. As far as data breaches go, successful hacking attempts and human error are the two most common causes. System “glitches” are often exploited successfully as well, which is quite troublesome. IT infrastructure all over the world are in dire need of a major overhaul, yet doing so takes a lot of time and money. It seems evident a lot of corporations will not create a budget to take these steps anytime soon. ![shutterstock_575278957.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmcXqCV4Hxc2EYiK2t1m1LJiR3RUwETA397it6GKs5PJpK/shutterstock_575278957.jpg)

New research indicates the average cost per data breach is going down, which is a positive development. Unfortunately, this change can mainly be attributed to the US Dollar surging in value, rather than companies getting better at protecting their data. There is still a lot of work to be done, but it is good to see some form of a silver lining at least.\n\nDATA BREACH COSTS ARE DOWN, ATTACKS ARE UP\n\nEvery type of research associated with online security is a mixed bag these days. On the positive side, the average costs of data breaches have decreased by 11.4% in 2016. This is good news for companies suffering from data breaches, even though the average cost still hovers around $3.6m. The bad news is how the number of data breaches increased by 1.8% in the same year.\n\nAll of these numbers tell us two different things. First of all, companies are getting worse at keeping sensitive information safe. It was already quite bad in the years prior, but with more attacks taking place, it is evident there is little focus on improving countermeasures. That situation will need to be addressed sooner rather than later. The last thing we need is more successful data breaches, yet companies remain unwilling to do much about it for now.\n\nSecond, it goes to show companies continue to underestimate the financial repercussions caused by a data breach. titleBitcoin Ransomware Education – TeslaWare
bodyHomeEducationMalwareRansomwareBitcoin Ransomware Education – TeslaWare Bitcoin Ransomware Education – TeslaWare JP Buntinx June 24, 2017 Education, Malware, Ransomware TheMerkle TeslaWare Ransomware One way to make a new ransomware strain stand out is by giving it a fancy name. TeslaWare seems to be checking the right boxes in this regard, and the developer is putting a lot of work into the design aspect of this malware. Luckily, it appears the ransomware itself is not that much of a threat, despite the fancy looks. That being said, one should still be very wary of TeslaWare. TESLAWARE LOOKS GREAT BUT FALLS A BIT FLAT It is not entirely surprising to see ransomware developers use popular brand names in their creations these days. A lot of people are familiar with Tesla, a company revolutionizing the car industry as we know it today. TeslaWare has nothing to do with Elon Musk or his company though, despite bearing the logo and overall design of the popular corporation. In fact, a lot of work has been put into making TeslaWare look “appealing” to criminals. One can easily obtain TeslaWare from most darknet marketplaces right now. Obtaining such a sample will cost between 35 and 70 euro, which is relatively cheap. The developers also put together quite a beautiful marketing package for this ransomware, in the hopes of persuading more criminals to buy this new toolkit. Just because something looks professional does not mean it will behave in such a manner by any means. TheMerkle TeslaWare Poster The price difference can be explained rather easily as well. Interested buyers can customize the ransomware strain to suit their individual needs. The basic features include AES-256 encryption, a way to decrypt files after a payment is received, and the guarantee it will not be decrypted with standard tools. Moreover, it appears TeslaWare is capable of changing victims’ wallpapers, which is a nice feature to the right kind of people. Unfortunately for the developer, most of these features are a blatant lie. It is certainly possible to decrypt TeslaWare, and it can be done with incredible ease. In fact, there will soon be a free tool for doing exactly that. There are quite a few coding flaws in the ransomware, which make it rather trivial to decrypt files again. Anyone who gets infected with TeslaWare should not pay the Bitcoin ransom under any circumstance. Also, make sure to check out BleepingComputer’s TeslaWare forum topic. One thing that is rather troubling about TeslaWare is how it treats infected files. Even though it is perhaps one of the most inefficient types of malware to date, it can delete files when the ransom payment is not made in time. This is a very problematic development, as decryption of TeslaWare files can take hours or even days. Not knowing which files might be deleted will make some victims feel quite uneasy, to say the least. More specifically, victims have 60 minutes to make the ransom payment before 10 random files are deleted. A new timer will begin, which ticks down from 72 hours. Should that timer reaches zero as well, the entire hard drive will be wiped clean. It appears victims are asked to pay around $100 worth of Bitcoin to restore file access. For the time being, TeslaWare is more of a nuisance than a threat. However, it is possible the developers may improve this malware, as it shows signs of how it can be used as a worm as well. ![TeslaWare-Poster-774x1024.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmWDzzSjTBh1M69StMAd5db7ys42BST8dZeV2JNy3NPZUg/TeslaWare-Poster-774x1024.jpg)

titleChinese Government Enforces Censorship by Targeting Local Broadcasters
bodyHomeNewsTechnologyChinese Government Enforces Censorship by Targeting Local Broadcasters Chinese Government Enforces Censorship by Targeting Local Broadcasters JP Buntinx June 24, 2017 News, Technology TheMerkle China Censorship Tweet Share +1 Share Pin SHARES 0 We all know the Chinese government is keeping a close eye on what content can be found on the Internet. China is not exactly known for freedom of speech or making information easily accessible. Various broadcasters and media platforms have been put on notice regarding broadcasts putting China or its government in a negative spotlight. This is another clear example of how censorship is enforced by oppressive governments. CHINA DOESN’T WANT BAD PR It is understandable governments are not too happy when negative press gains mainstream traction. Reading about how a government official did X or Y wrong is not fun, even though such information deserved to be shared. Contrary to what the Chinese government may want to believe, negative information deserves to be known by the public as well. However, if it is up to government officials, that situation will come to a halt very soon. More specifically, the Chinese government has warned local broadcasters regarding what they can and cannot share with the public. Any negative news regarding China or its government will be banned from now on. This appears to be a rather drastic decision, as this is a clear example of censorship. According to the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television, airing the “dirty laundry” violated local regulations. It has to be said, this is quite an interesting turn of events. According to the government, all of the notified broadcasters share large amounts of programs with the public. However, a lot of this information doesn’t comply with national rules. Moreover, there are seemingly more broadcasts regarding negative discussions about public affairs. This seems to indicate the local government isn’t doing the job to the best of their abilities, yet no one is supposed to know about these things, it seems. It is believed the agency will take measures: to shut down these programs airing the dirty laundry of China and its government. Considering the agency contacted both traditional and online broadcasters, it remains to be seen how this new “rule” will be executed. It is possible some broadcasters may effectively lose their license or suffer from major government repercussions, including fees and potentially even jail time. It is not the first time we see such drastic actions taken by the Chinese government regarding censorship and freedom of speech. The country ranked in the bottom 5 countries on the 2017 World Press Freedom Index. It is evident freedom of speech and China will never be two peas in a pod, and one can only expect harsh measures like this to become even more common in the future. In fact, the government has recently been granted more control over the Internet and broadcasts in May of this year. Interestingly enough, it looks as if some broadcasters are taking this new guideline to heart. Both Weibo and Acfun have made a post on their official Weibo accounts to state how they will enforce stricter content management. For Chinese companies, complying with new regulations is a top priority. No one wants to lose a license or face severe punishment for disregarding the rules. Moreover, Weibo will only allow users to broadcast if they have the proper government license to do so. ![chineseparliament.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTMFtwKa1mATCgdXyqFF7WQwArfBDw6QQwUWaM14EV9jF/chineseparliament.png)

China is not exactly known for freedom of speech or making information easily accessible. Various broadcasters and media platforms have been put on notice regarding broadcasts putting China or its government in a negative spotlight. This is another clear example of how censorship is enforced by oppressive governments.\n\nCHINA DOESN’T WANT BAD PR\n\nIt is understandable governments are not too happy when negative press gains mainstream traction. Reading about how a government official did X or Y wrong is not fun, even though such information deserved to be shared. Contrary to what the Chinese government may want to believe, negative information deserves to be known by the public as well. However, if it is up to government officials, that situation will come to a halt very soon.\n\nMore specifically, the Chinese government has warned local broadcasters regarding what they can and cannot share with the public. Any negative news regarding China or its government will be banned from now on. This appears to be a rather drastic decision, as this is a clear example of censorship. According to the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film, and Television, airing the “dirty laundry” violated local regulations.\n\nIt has to be said, this is quite an interesting turn of events. According to the government, all of the notified broadcasters share large amounts of programs with the public. However, a lot of this information doesn’t comply with national rules. Moreover, there are seemingly more broadcasts regarding negative discussions about public affairs. This seems to indicate the local government isn’t doing the job to the best of their abilities, yet no one is supposed to know about these things, it seems.\n\n\n \nIt is believed the agency will take measures: to shut down these programs airing the dirty laundry of China and its government. titleBitpay to Launch Bitcoin Wallet App for Windows Phone Market
bodyBitcoin payment processor Bitpay has announced the development of their bitcoin wallet app for Windows Phone users. With Windows accounting for less than 1% of the total smartphone market share, the array of mobile cryptocurrency applications available to Windows smartphone users has been very limited, as many developers have opted to focus their attention on the Apple and Android smartphone markets. Bitpay to Launch Bitcoin Wallet App for Windows Phone Market Although Bitpay has catered to the Windows phone market since 2015 in the form of the Copay wallet, Bitpay is excited to integrate Visa debit and other functions not currently available via Copay into its Windows products. Bitpay and Microsoft have partnered previously. In 2014, Bitpay partnered with Microsoft to allow customers to make purchases using bitcoin in the Windows store. When announcing Bitpay’s plans to offer its full wallet services to Windows Phone users, the company stated that “Microsoft’s continued commitment to blockchain technology and interest in smart contracts makes our bitcoin wallet platform – the foundation of many exciting smart contract projects – a powerful addition to the Windows Phone app ecosystem”, suggesting the likelihood of future partnerships between the companies. Bitcoin-Adopting Windows Phone Users Are Welcoming the Collaboration Many within the bitcoin community do not share Bitpay’s enthusiasm for Microsoft’s explorations into cryptocurrency technology. The recently announced global public-private partnership ID2020 illustrates Microsoft, Accenture and Avanade’s willingness to leverage the blockchain for the purposes of centralization. Bitpay to Launch Bitcoin Wallet App for Windows Phone Market The project plans to leverage Accenture’s Unique Identity Service Platform to manage sensitive data such as fingerprints, iris recognition, and biometric data via the blockchain. Although the project is ostensively designed to better assist in the management of refugees and displaced peoples, many within the cryptocurrency community are concerned that said technology could be utilized for more Orwellian purposes. Despite reservation from some within the bitcoin economy regarding Microsoft’s involvement in the ID2020 project, bitcoin adopting Windows Phone users are welcoming the collaboration.
