| title | More important than diligence is knowing how to use compound interest thinking |
| body | There is a very classic story, the content is roughly as follows: > A king wants to reward the inventor of chess. > The king asked the inventor of chess what reward he wanted. The inventor of chess said to the king: "I don't want a lot of rewards. Just put one grain of rice in the first square on the board and two in the second square. For rice, the third grid contains eight grains of rice, and the fourth grid contains 16 grains of rice. In this way, the entire 64 grids of the chessboard can be filled with rice." > When the king heard that it was too easy, he agreed casually. > However, the king soon discovered that he did not have this strength. Even if all the food in the treasury was given to the inventor of chess, it was far from enough. > According to the way the inventor of chess said, the number of rice grains that should be placed in the 64th grid is 2 to the 63rd power, which is 9223 372 036 854775 808 grains of rice. The weight of a grain of rice is about 0.016 grams. After calculation, the 64th grid should contain about 147.5 billion tons of rice. 147.5 billion tons of meters, what is this concept? According to data published by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, global food production in 2017 was approximately 2.627 billion tons, and global food production in 2018 was approximately 2.587 billion tons. In other words, the rice required for the 64th grid is equivalent to the total 60 years of food production in the world. This is just a grid, if you count the other 63 grids, it will be a very large and amazing number. I tell this story because I want to introduce a concept-compound interest thinking. Einstein said: "Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world." Through the above story, you should be able to appreciate the magic of compound interest. The so-called compound interest is the accumulation of accumulation, which was inconspicuous at first, but after long-term accumulation, it will eventually achieve exponential growth. What kind of height a person's life will reach in the end often depends on whether he has compound interest thinking. From a certain point of view, knowing how to use compound interest thinking is more important than just working hard. It is a pity that many people do not have compound interest thinking. If a person can use compound interest thinking to obtain the following three kinds of compound interest, then his life will not be so bad. # Ability compound interest: the worst result is nothing more than a late bloomer When you work hard to do something, but in the end you can't get the desired result or even see the result, you will easily fall into confusion and question whether your efforts are meaningful. What is the use of hard work? Most people who have worked hard have experienced such struggles and confusion. I said to him: "You have to do two things, one is to make a review summary, to see if the direction of the effort is correct, the method is correct, the efficiency is not high, and the person you follow is correct; the second is to learn to grow with compound interest. , Stay patient, make a little progress every day, and persevere." There is a very classic formula, everyone can take a look. Assuming that the current state is 1, 1.01 represents a person who makes a little progress every day, and 0.99 represents a person who regresses a little every day. Although the gap between 1.01 and 0.99 is small, after 365 days of accumulation, the final gap will be huge. If the extent of daily progress or regression is enlarged, the results will be even more amazing. Therefore, the effort is not meaningless, but you have not reached the critical point of the outbreak, you have to hold on again. If you can make a little progress every day, within a few years, you will be able to leave most people behind. In the same way, if you mess around every day, step back a little bit today and step back a bit tomorrow. After a long time, you will never catch up with the people in front. |

| title | Put down the bottom to really live decently |
| body | [source](https://hhp-blog.s3.amazonaws.com/2016/02/Men-die-younger-blog-image.jpg) In the eyes of many people, face is the top priority, and maintaining decency is the most important thing. Even if the inside is riddled with holes, the face must be bright and beautiful. This is a heart disease that many people suffer from, and it is also a main reason that restricts them from walking up and climbing to high places. I once chatted with a friend, and there was a saying called "Poor people must be hateful", and this sentence couldn't be more appropriate for him. One night, this friend sent me several paragraphs of text in a row, to the effect that when people are middle-aged, there are old and young people, high wages, and great pressure in life. After so many years, I regretted it. I told him that the emotions really need to be vented, but this cannot solve the problem. If you feel that life is under pressure and financial conditions are not very good, then you can find a way to earn more money and do something part-time. Later, we talked about some tasks such as food delivery and running Didi, which have relatively low thresholds and can get started quickly. He said that he would not consider these jobs. Why not consider it? It's not that he can't endure the hardship, but that he feels that doing these jobs has no face. He said: "The city I live in is not too big. It would be embarrassing if I meet acquaintances at work. After all, I also have formal jobs. It would be shameful to do these jobs part-time." I have to admit that there is some truth in what he said, and it is also human nature. However, since you need money and don't have other specialties, if you don't even want to do these basic tasks, how can you solve the problem? This is also a very real problem. I know that he wanted to talk to me just to find someone to vent his emotions and release some life pressures. After venting, he still looks the same. Many people are like this. In fact, they know very well how to go up the road and how to solve the problem, but out of consideration of face, they often choose to stand still and business as usual. Even if the result of this standing still is to continue to suffer in the sea of bitterness, they will not hesitate! Maintaining dignity at all times is a recognition that has been deeply rooted in many people. [source](https://previews.123rf.com/images/spaskov/spaskov1907/spaskov190701611/127696489-an-attractive-elderly-50-year-old-man-with-long-hair-in-the-tail-sits-in-a-public-garden-on-a-bench-.jpg) **Face is the hardest thing for a person to let go, and it is the most useless thing** We can understand this sentence like this: If you put aside your face, it is equivalent to put aside a useless thing. Putting down the useless things will be of great benefit to your life. # 1. Put down the bottom, no longer compare, you will live very comfortably. If someone else buys a brand-name bag, I also want to buy one; if someone else drives a good car, I also want to buy one. This kind of comparison makes many people's lives off track. In fact, uncontrolled consumption does not mean a refined life. If you buy a brand-name bag, it does not mean that you have an exquisite life. When your financial strength is not enough to support your vanity, the momentary comfort will bring you long-term pain. When you put it down and no longer compare with others, many of the worries in life will disappear, you will gain true freedom and live a comfortable life. Such a life can be called exquisite. # 2. Put down the bottom, grow faster and get more. In life, you should have had this experience: in the face of problems, if you are embarrassed to ask someone who understands, you may not understand it all the time; if you can put the bottom line and ask more questions, you can learn more. Really good people tend to be humble and studious. This is because they are able to put their hands down and are willing to ask others for advice, even if this person's status is lower than their own, and their knowledge is not as good as their own. Really good people know this well, face is a small matter, growth is a big deal. If a person can do this, he will be able to continue to grow. Such a life can be called decent. # 3. Put down the bottom, the interpersonal relationship is more harmonious. In the process of getting along with people, tragedies caused by face are not rare. A husband feels that he has lost face in front of his friends because his wife speaks a little louder to him, and then quarrels with his wife; some people are worried about not getting enough attention at the dinner table... In fact, the more you are, the more embarrassing you are. When you put the bottom down, it is easier to gain the respect of others, and the interpersonal relationship will be more harmonious. # 4. Don't care about other people's vision, life is more comfortable. Li Ka-shing said that when you put money down to make money, it means that you are already sensible; when you use money to make money back, it means that you have succeeded. If my friend can put the bottom down, don't care about other people's perspectives, take part-time jobs after work, and increase his income, I believe his life will be more comfortable than the current one. If a person always lives in the expectations of others and cares too much about what others think, then he has put a lot of shackles on his life invisibly. Life is your own, and you should be in control of how you live it. When you put the bottom down and do what you really want to do, your life really becomes comfortable. In many cases, if you want to get it, you have to learn to let go. This is a kind of wisdom and a manifestation of maturity. |

In fact, they know very well how to go up the road and how to solve the problem, but out of consideration of face, they often choose to stand still and business as usual.\n\nEven if the result of this standing still is to continue to suffer in the sea of bitterness, they will not hesitate!\nMaintaining dignity at all times is a recognition that has been deeply rooted in many people.\n\n\n[source](https://previews.123rf.com/images/spaskov/spaskov1907/spaskov190701611/127696489-an-attractive-elderly-50-year-old-man-with-long-hair-in-the-tail-sits-in-a-public-garden-on-a-bench-.jpg)\n\n**Face is the hardest thing for a person to let go, and it is the most useless thing**\n\nWe can understand this sentence like this: If you put aside your face, it is equivalent to put aside a useless thing. Putting down the useless things will be of great benefit to your life.\n\n# 1. Put down the bottom, no longer compare, you will live very comfortably.\nIf someone else buys a brand-name bag, I also want to buy one; if someone else drives a good car, I also want to buy one. This kind of comparison makes many people's lives off track.\n\nIn fact, uncontrolled consumption does not mean a refined life. If you buy a brand-name bag, it does not mean that you have an exquisite life.\n\nWhen your financial strength is not enough to support your vanity, the momentary comfort will bring you long-term pain.\n\nWhen you put it down and no longer compare with others, many of the worries in life will disappear, you will gain true freedom and live a comfortable life.\nSuch a life can be called exquisite.\n\n# 2. Put down the bottom, grow faster and get more.\nIn life, you should have had this experience: in the face of problems, if you are embarrassed to ask someone who understands, you may not understand it all the time; if you can put the bottom line and ask more questions, you can learn more.\n\nReally good people tend to be humble and studious. This is because they are able to put their hands down and are willing to ask others for advice, even if this person's status is lower than their own, and their knowledge is not as good as their own.\nReally good people know this well, face is a small matter, growth is a big deal.\nIf a person can do this, he will be able to continue to grow. Such a life can be called decent.\n\n# 3. Put down the bottom, the interpersonal relationship is more harmonious.\nIn the process of getting along with people, tragedies caused by face are not rare. A husband feels that he has lost face in front of his friends because his wife speaks a little louder to him, and then quarrels with his wife; some people are worried about not getting enough attention at the dinner table...\nIn fact, the more you are, the more embarrassing you are.\nWhen you put the bottom down, it is easier to gain the respect of others, and the interpersonal relationship will be more harmonious.\n\n# 4. Don't care about other people's vision, life is more comfortable.\nLi Ka-shing said that when you put money down to make money, it means that you are already sensible; when you use money to make money back, it means that you have succeeded.\n\nIf my friend can put the bottom down, don't care about other people's perspectives, take part-time jobs after work, and increase his income, I believe his life will be more comfortable than the current one.\n\nIf a person always lives in the expectations of others and cares too much about what others think, then he has put a lot of shackles on his life invisibly.\n\nLife is your own, and you should be in control of how you live it.\n\nWhen you put the bottom down and do what you really want to do, your life really becomes comfortable.\nIn many cases, if you want to get it, you have to learn to let go. This is a kind of wisdom and a manifestation of maturity.",

| body | [source](https://www.thesgem.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Rich-man-1280x640.jpg) There are great differences in the way of thinking between people, and a person's way of thinking often determines what kind of height he can reach in the end. In recent years, the concept of "the rich man's mind" has been frequently mentioned. There is a classic story about what the rich think. A poor man came to God and complained that the society is too unfair. The rich can make a lot of money while leisurely every day, but he is exhausted every day but can't make a lot of money. God asked him: "How do you feel fair?" The poor answered: "Let the rich be as poor as I am and do the same job as me. If the rich are still so rich, then I won't complain anymore." Thus, God made the rich as poor as the poor, and gave each of them a mountain of coal. They can sell the coal they dug up, and then use the money earned from the coal to buy food to survive for a month. The poor are used to rough work, and digging coal is a piece of cake for him. He quickly dug a cart of coal, took it to the market and sold it, and then bought a lot of food back. The rich seldom do physical work on weekdays, and barely dig a cart of coal after digging for a day. He took the coal to the market and sold it, only bought a few steamed buns back, and kept the rest of the money. In the days that followed, the poor continued to dig coal, sell coal, and buy delicious food every day, living a happy life. The rich man went to the market the next day and used the money left over from the first day to hire two workers to help dig coal and supervise him by himself. In one morning, the two workers dug several carts of coal for the rich. The rich took the coal to the bazaar and sold it, and then spent money to invite ten workers back to help dig the coal. Within half a month, a coal mountain was dug up by the rich, because there were dozens of coal mining workers under his hands. The rich earn many times as much money as the poor. He used the money to start other businesses and became rich again. This is the so-called "rich man thinking". |

| title | What really abolishes a person is never a stable job |
| body | Many people have asked me: The current working environment is too comfortable, like a stagnant pool, should I change my job and go out and have a look? The reason for sharing this is because I want to tell you that there are always some people in the world who are trying to change themselves, constantly tossing and forging ahead. The courage and enterprising spirit in them is worth learning. Such people are often easier to achieve success, and are more likely to see a different world and have a different life. However, this does not mean that having a stable job is so bad, and that a stable job must not be done. I have found that many people mistakenly believe that a stable job is a stumbling block that hinders their progress and is the source of their decadence. This perception is very narrow. In fact, what truly abolishes a person and affects a person’s growth and progress is never a stable job, but a solidified thinking and a heart that is at ease with the status quo. [source](https://previews.123rf.com/images/petrovichvadim/petrovichvadim2006/petrovichvadim200600404/148995150-young-guy-gets-to-work-on-a-bike-young-man-in-stylish-smart-casual-clothes-on-a-bicycle-in-city-traf.jpg) # 1. Stable work is not a scourge In the concept of the parents, stability is an important criterion for judging the quality of a job. The vast majority of parents hope that their children can have a stable job and ensure income from droughts and floods. I don’t know when, young people began to despise and despise stable jobs. Why did such a change happen? I think there are two main reasons. - 1.A stable job often means getting a fixed income, and this fixed income is usually not very high, and it is often unable to keep up with the pace of rising prices. Over time, this fixed income may not be able to meet the needs of life. - 2.A stable job often means that you can see the end of life at a glance. This is not in line with the pursuit of young people today, who are eager to realize their self-worth. In other words, a stable job is lackluster in terms of income, and it does not help realize the pursuit of life. In this way, it is not difficult to understand that stable work is despised by some aspiring young people. In fact, everyone is ultimately striving for stability. Those who work hard and continue to toss are actually pursuing stability, but the stability they pursue is more advanced, safer, and less restrictive, which allows them to have a lot of autonomy. Therefore, stable work has never been a scourge, it will not really abolish a person and hinder a person's growth. On the contrary, a stable job means that your life has basic protection, which can bring you a sense of security, and also give you more confidence and capital to do what you want to do. [source](https://media.cntraveler.com/photos/5a903f3920dfb6552425e770/16:9/w_2560%2Cc_limit/GettyImages-459884951.jpg) # 2. Hardened thinking is the culprit that hinders one's growth and progress In fact, what really hinders a person’s growth and progress is the wrong mentality, the solidified thinking and the lower level of cognition. If a person is content with the status quo and does not want to make progress, no matter where he works, whether it is a foreign company, a private company, or a self-employment, he will not achieve much in the end, and it is difficult to make a breakthrough in his career. On the contrary, as long as you have an enterprising heart and a desire to climb upward, no matter how stable your work is, it will not hinder your growth and progress. Stable work is not terrible, but solid thinking is terrible. So, what are the concrete manifestations of solidified thinking? - **1.Refuse to learn and change.** In fact, if you want to gain true stability, you must have the ability to keep pace with the times. One of the criteria for judging whether a person is not enterprising and whether his thinking is solidified is to see whether he can continue to learn and grow, and whether he is actively seeking change. Why do some companies that were once the best in the industry but closed down overnight? Why do some people start from a very high point, but it is always difficult to make breakthroughs and become more mediocre? The most fundamental reason is probably that they refuse to learn and grow, and refuse to change. For example, you run a physical store, and e-commerce continues to impact the traditional retail industry. If you cannot keep up with the times, make quick adjustments, and stick to the traditional business model, you will sooner or later be eliminated by the market. As small as a person, a team, and as large as an industry, in this era of rapid change and development, if you refuse to learn and grow, and refuse to change, it will be difficult to go far. - **2.Lack of worry awareness.** The characteristic of stability is that there are few variables. Since there are few variables, it is easy for people to take it lightly, lack the sense of worry, and fail to be prepared for danger in times of peace. This is also the fundamental reason why stable jobs are considered by many to be a stumbling block to their learning and growth. Once a person lacks a sense of worry, he often does not take the initiative to learn, and usually loses the motivation to struggle. |

Still, whatever your hobby is, you need to be able to monetize it on some way. If it's say, gaming — you can stream it, or even sell merch. (Any hobby works as long as you can find a wake to make money from it) This is why I stray away from the advice of following your passion because that 1st thing, that 1st passion won't make you money. | body | [Source](https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DxswG7yR1dPI&psig=AOvVaw1SJmBdR8uaQoK_Gqmw_vug&ust=1618137556815000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAIQjRxqFwoTCIDL5qS-8-8CFQAAAAAdAAAAABAD) # Why many people can’t make money? In fact, there are many reasons for a person's low income level, which cannot be explained by insufficient hard work or lack of ability. There are seven main reasons for a person's low income level. - (1) Insufficient effort. No matter what job you are engaged in, hard work is often the prerequisite for all good results. In many cases, if you want to get a high salary, if you want to earn more than others, you have to work harder than others. For those who work perfunctory and do not seek to make progress, the salary is often not much higher, because the boss does not give you a reason for the higher salary. - (2) Don't get into the right line, follow the right person, and do the right thing. Can I get a high salary if I work very hard? The answer is of course no. Effort is only a prerequisite. People who can get a high salary basically work hard, but hard work does not necessarily lead to a high salary. It depends on whether you can do the right thing with the right person. The salary level of some industries is relatively high, while the salary level of some industries is relatively low; some companies’ benefits are so good that you envy you, while some companies’ salaries are so low that you doubt your life. There is nothing to complain about, if you have real abilities, you just leave. If not, you can learn more. In short, say less useless things and do more useful things. - (3) Ability is not good, and there is no capital to get a high salary. I am a basketball fan and have watched the NBA for more than 10 years. The high salaries of NBA players are hard to imagine. There are many players with an annual salary of two to three ten thousand dollars. However, there are also many players with an annual salary of several hundred thousand dollars. Some players can even get millions and tens of millions of dollars in annual salary last year, and when the contract expires in the next year, they can't even play the ball. No team wants them. Why does this happen? The reason is simple: the ability is not good, and there is no capital to get a high salary. This is true in any industry, and business ability determines a person's salary level. The stronger the professional ability of a person, the higher the salary, and all companies are rushing to ask for it. - (4) The source of income is too single. Some people’s income levels are high because they have multiple sources of income, and even some people’s sideline income exceeds that of their main business. This is the so-called "open source". A single source of income is one reason why many people have low income levels, which will seriously reduce their ability to resist risks. - (5) Did not develop good consumption habits. Speaking of open source, let me mention throttling by the way. Many people do not develop good consumption habits, spend lavishly, and consume willful, which not only brings a lot of restrictions, but also makes them lose a lot of possibilities. A person's confidence, courage and structure are often built on a certain economic foundation. - (6) The foundation is too bad, and it always stays at the primitive accumulation stage. A person who is hardworking, sensible, and knows how to increase income and reduce expenditure, and his ability is not bad, but his income level is still very low, most likely because of a poor foundation. Snowballing is the most beautiful way to accumulate wealth. It is difficult to go from 0 to 1 million yuan, but from 1 million to 2 million yuan is often not so difficult. If the foundation is too bad, you have to spend a lot of time to get through the primitive accumulation stage. If this is the case, then you can only work harder and stick to it. - (7) Due to various reasons, the bonus period is missed. Because of various reasons, such as laziness and lack of ability, they have restricted their horizons, structure and cognitive level, and thus missed the dividend period of some emerging industries. This is also a reason for the low income level of many people. Many industries will experience a period of barbaric growth during the development process, which can also be called a "dividend period". Entering at this time, they can often make a lot of money. Whether you can earn money is related to many factors. Finding the source of the problem is one step closer to solving the problem. **This is why I said that making money is actually not that difficult** |

| title | Low level of cognition is the most deadly shortcoming of a person |
| body | Someone asked: "Why do I know a lot, but still have a bad life?" I think there are two main reasons. The first reason is that there is no necessary connection between "knowing the truth" and "having a bad life". If you want to have a good life, you must work hard. Everyone knows this truth. However, whether it can be done, and to what extent it can be done, is the key. This is the same as how you can understand recipes, but you don’t necessarily become a good cook. The second reason is that many truths are actually unreasonable, or that some truths do not apply to everyone. Some people say: "You have to be famous as early as possible." This sentence is of course reasonable, but the premise is that you have to consider your own actual situation. For example, do you have the strength needed to become famous, are you ready to become famous, and so on. If there are none, then there is no need for you to squeeze into this car. What you should do is to grow up steadily. After all, there is a saying of "late bloomers". In fact, most of the truths in the world must be viewed with dialectical thinking, which requires us to have the ability to think and judge independently, which in fact reflects a person's cognitive level. On the surface, it appears that the power of action has opened up the distance between people, but the power of action is actually determined by a person's cognitive level. Some people are strong in execution because they can see the gap between themselves and others and know what they want. It is precisely because of such self-awareness that they will have a strong inner driving force. With different levels of cognition, the decisions made are different, and naturally there will be a different life. It can be said that a low level of cognition is a person's most deadly shortcoming. # The lower the level of knowledge, the more self-righteous In life, many people have had this experience and experience: chatting with some people, even if you come up with strong evidence, even if you are more relevant, but he just doesn’t Believe what you said, stick to his own point of view, especially stubborn. Sometimes, I feel weird. I don’t have a bad background, a bad family background, and no background and resources. Shouldn’t I work harder? People with lower levels of cognition tend to be more stubborn, resist accepting and learning, and be self-righteous, and always live in their own little world. The more a person is like this, the more limited his understanding of the world will be, and the less likely it is to grow and progress. If this vicious circle continues, life may fall into a predicament. This also creates a very interesting phenomenon: the more excellent people tend to work harder and more humble; the more mediocre people, the more self-righteous, the more comfortable with the status quo, and the more accustomed to being complacent about small achievements. The greater the cognitive gap between people, the greater the level gap. # The lower the level of cognition, the easier it is to lose control of emotions The lower the cognitive level, the more limited and extreme the judgment of one thing, the more difficult it is to think, and the more difficult it is to consider problems from multiple perspectives. Because of this, the way they deal with problems is relatively simple and rude. They feel unhappy and immediately reflect on their faces and actions, making it difficult to control their emotions. On the contrary, the higher the level of cognition, the more comprehensive and objective judgments will be made in the event of an incident, the more able to sort out the stakes, assess the situation, and better control their emotions. People who are emotionally unstable often don't have high EQ. Whether it is work or life, they will be affected by their emotions, and this effect is usually relatively large. Emotional stability is the standard for adults. The higher the level of cognition, the fewer things in life. |

It is precisely because of such self-awareness that they will have a strong inner driving force.\n\nWith different levels of cognition, the decisions made are different, and naturally there will be a different life.\n\nIt can be said that a low level of cognition is a person's most deadly shortcoming.\n\n\n\n# The lower the level of knowledge, the more self-righteous\nIn life, many people have had this experience and experience: chatting with some people, even if you come up with strong evidence, even if you are more relevant, but he just doesn’t\nBelieve what you said, stick to his own point of view, especially stubborn. Sometimes, I feel weird. I don’t have a bad background, a bad family background, and no background and resources. Shouldn’t I work harder?\n\nPeople with lower levels of cognition tend to be more stubborn, resist accepting and learning, and be self-righteous, and always live in their own little world.\n\nThe more a person is like this, the more limited his understanding of the world will be, and the less likely it is to grow and progress. If this vicious circle continues, life may fall into a predicament.\nThis also creates a very interesting phenomenon: the more excellent people tend to work harder and more humble; the more mediocre people, the more self-righteous, the more comfortable with the status quo, and the more accustomed to being complacent about small achievements.\n\nThe greater the cognitive gap between people, the greater the level gap.\n\n# The lower the level of cognition, the easier it is to lose control of emotions\nThe lower the cognitive level, the more limited and extreme the judgment of one thing, the more difficult it is to think, and the more difficult it is to consider problems from multiple perspectives.\n\nBecause of this, the way they deal with problems is relatively simple and rude. They feel unhappy and immediately reflect on their faces and actions, making it difficult to control their emotions.\n\nOn the contrary, the higher the level of cognition, the more comprehensive and objective judgments will be made in the event of an incident, the more able to sort out the stakes, assess the situation, and better control their emotions.\n\nPeople who are emotionally unstable often don't have high EQ. Whether it is work or life, they will be affected by their emotions, and this effect is usually relatively large.\n\nEmotional stability is the standard for adults. The higher the level of cognition, the fewer things in life.",
