A propósito de tu comentario, estuve investigando sobre los cables submarinos y encontré esta web: https://www.submarinecablemap.com  donde se muestra un mapa con los cables submarinos que conectan al mundo entero. Aunque no es un mapa exacto se acerca bastante a la real ubicación de los cables. Para principios de 2018 hay 448 cables submarinos en servicio en todo el mundo para un aproximado de mas de 1.2 millones de kilómetros de cable. La capacidad de transmisión de estos cables pueden variar pero se dice que los cables mas nuevos son capaces de transportar 160 tbps. Otros cables que se pueden visualizar es el ALBA-1 propietarios Transbit y Telecom Venezuela que conectan a Venezuela con Jamaica y Cuba, y por ultimo el cable que conecta las principales costas de nuestro país entre ellas los estados Zulia, Falcón, Sucre y Distrito Capital, este cable es propiedad de CANTV.\n\nAhora bien ¿por que en el mapa no vemos cables que conecten a Venezuela con países en Europa por ejemplo?       "body": "Bien en este apartado explicare como funciona una de las tecnologías más usadas, incluso desde antes que internet fuera un boom de súper-comunicaciones. Se trata de la tecnología **DSL** o por sus siglas en inglés (Digital Subscriber Line) o línea de abonado digital, A lo largo del tiempo las formas de acceder a la red ha evolucionado adaptándose a las necesidades de las personas, siempre tratando de satisfacer necesidades como: velocidad, escalabilidad, seguridad y confiabilidad todo esto con el objetivo de aprovechar al máximo los recursos de internet, después de todo la comunicación es fundamental para el desarrollo de la humanidad. \nImaginarían los antepasados que con el sonido de un **“CLICK”** podríamos tener ante nuestros ojos toneladas de información. **DSL** seria solo el comienzo, dando impulso para traer consigo no solo información en texto plano sino animaciones, televisión online, realidad virtual, juegos 3D, Videoconferencias, etc. Al llegar la digitalización de las conexiones analógicas era evidente que los grandes de la industria telefónica apostarían al futuro aprovechando al máximo las conexiones de cableado telefónico ya existentes sobre el que **DSL** operaria.\n\n#### <i class=\"icon-pencil\"></i> ¿Entonces que es DSL y cómo funciona?\n\nEs una tecnología de conexión permanente que usa las ya existentes líneas telefónicas de par trenzado para enviar y recibir las señales análogas y digitales, estas pueden separarse en el par de cobre permitiendo la transmisión de voz y datos al mismo tiempo es por eso que es asimétrica porque la mayor parte del ancho de banda a utilizar es para la recepción de información en la ubicación del usuario y el resto es para el envió de la misma, todo esto sin afectar la ya existente conexión para la línea telefónica. En  la casa del usuario un modem **DSL** convierte una señal de Ethernet proveniente del host (PC) en una señal **DSL**, esta a su vez será trasmitida a la oficina central donde finalmente varias líneas se multiplexan en un único enlace de alta capacidad esto a través de un **multiplexor** de acceso **DSL (DSLAM)**.
