Discussion of neurons firing and wiring draws implications so vast that it impacts everything from positive and negative emotional spectrums, to the difference between being handicapped, and a genius–or life and death. Modern science has now begun to steer away from the traditional ideology of fixated neurology and is instead coming to find that a person’s given neurological state can very largely be conceptualized as a transitory state that is dictated by a person’s subconscious drives and instincts.\n\nThe waking, alert thought-formations that people call “thoughts” are merely periods on a sentence of cognitive process, and while it may be a tricky thing to pinpoint, understanding the full spectrum of thought process can often be the difference between a healthy and unhealthy outlook on life. After all, how can one operate a piece of machinery when they have not been taught how? They could try to deduce its proper usage, but this often will lead to steps missing and/or the overall process being poorly elaborated. Yet it could also lead to new and novel ways of using the machinery, given that the person has been meticulous and empirical enough to properly deduce the fundamental processes of the machinery. This difference between the two methods, which can be considered “Trauma” and “Transcendence,” is neuroplasticity.\n\nScientists are coming to find that neurological “thought complexes” (neuronal activity that assimilates a memory, or an idea, et cetera; the syntax of the neuron) that are configured by a child from their parent during its developmental years will play an instrumental role in their genetic expression throughout life. A field that attempts to study this is “epigenetics,” “epi” meaning “on top of,” implying that all genes must be allowed an activation protocol in order to express themselves. This activation protocol can be considered part of the thought-complex “sentence” that the waking-alert thought punctuates the end of.\n\nFrom a philosophical perspective, life can very much be considered a hand of cards in poker, with each card being a neuron. The player only has what they’ve been given, but that doesn’t inhibit the variety of possibilities that they are able to produce with their cards at hand, nor does it inhibit the possibilities that the other players will unlock around them, or the original player’s potential to acquire new or different cards to utilize. Other similar forms of cognitive therapy that help with neuroplasticity (that can all be considered different aspects of meditation) are BioFeedback, Hypnosis, Psychedelic therapy, empirical dream analysis, and even traditional psychotherapy. Scientists are also finding that mental discrepancies like Borderline Personality Disorder are due to a dysregulation of reward processes in the brain, resulting in more internal drive for reward, with too little control to actually handle it, thus resulting in the tumultuous imbalance of a person with BPD’s mental state at any given time.\n\n\n\nThis can be a perfect example of thought complexes running amuck that have not been given the proper attention, almost always to very little fault of the individual, because these thought complexes were often bestowed upon them at very early ages. However, if there is any objective truth to life, it is that with any past traumas in mind, the poor decisions of the individual, due to their own thought-complexes, fall squarely on their own shoulders. Following this thread of thought, in comparative ancient shamanism, it was typical for the shaman of the people to be a person that had survived a near-death experience as a child, or some type of illness. They had to experience a trauma that jostled them from their fixated mindset of waking life and cause them to activate fresh neuronal activity in order to survive.\n\nLogistically speaking, when this fresh neuronal activity has been excavated, it often is considered “excess baggage” because it is something that has been incorporated into a person’s thought process without receiving some sort of diachronic cognitive attention from the individual. It’s an outlier plot point on the graph, so to speak. Used in an anthropological context, the word “fetish” characterizes the idea of investing a certain amount of power into something through intention that would not otherwise have any power.\n\nIn ancient cultures, the people knew that a stick, a feather, some sinew and some beads were all respectively nothing particularly important, yet when a person utilized their intentions and attention to combine all these ingredients, it was suddenly agreed to be medicine. This is not to say that this definition of medicine was ill-founded either, but rather that these medicines were not of the body–they were of the mind. A true medicine man knows that he cannot fix the body until he fixes the mind, and because of this, the shaman is the man who understands the rehabilitative process of neuroplasticity. As he used this plasticity to regain his own health, so can he learn to understand the empirical process of the human brain, so as to catalyze these changes within the other individuals looking for it.\n\nThis is the true nature of theological “magick.” It is understanding the underlying mechanisms of the human brain through symbolism (something that the brain cannot form thoughts without), and it is understanding how this connects to the processes of neurological stasis. The ancient concept of magick is not the ability to fly on a broomstick or talk to forest spirits, but rather learning the fundamental processes of the deep chasms of  human consciousness in order for one to find their own way out of the pit. This is so they can ultimately help others do the same. This is the nature of trauma to transcendence through neuroplasticity.\n\n\n\nAUTHOR’S NOTE — DREAMWEAVING\n\nFor anyone looking to evoke the therapeutic potentials of neuroplasticity in a way that doesn’t involve paying for therapies or any sort of conference with another person, the processes of Dream Incubation and Dream Analysis are highly recommended, and will be briefly described here. While there is no set classification of the method, this type of dream therapy could be considered “Dreamweaving.”\n\nDream Incubation is the concept of “incubating” a dream as an individual falls asleep. This typically will require sensory deprivation to gain the best results, which means no television or radio or music, but depending on the person and the thought, certain music or even online-lectures can be very beneficial to help “incubate.” The trick here is to focus on the thought from an objective perspective; if a person is trying to understand an event in their lives, it is suggested that they analyze the event from an omnipotent perspective, as if they themselves were another character as well. Doing so will lead to dreams on the subject, guaranteed. The only thing that cannot be guaranteed is whether the person will remember this dream at first, and so repetition is usually required. Continuation of this process will lead to definitive dream incubation.\n\nOnce a person can learn to incubate these concepts when they fall asleep, the next step will be upon waking up. It is important for anyone that is Dreamweaving to have a writing utensil and a notebook next to their bed, an electronic device will not do. There are certain things about the ritual of writing on paper, like one’s own handwriting, that will help a person connect with their thoughts much more effectively than any laptop or phone. After writing down the full dream sequence, the person should then make a list of all the nouns (people, places, things) in their dream, using personal discretion to gauge any detail’s relevancy. Once this list has been gathered, the person should take the first noun on the list, and follow these three steps:\n\n1) Physical descriptive adjective, free word association. If the noun is a cat, then the person should open their brain to the first logical word they find in their thoughts that is associated with cat. This should not be given more than a 1.5 seconds of thought, because after this the spontaneity of the exercise is lost. Let’s say a person gets “yarn” from “cat.”\n\n2) Emotional descriptive adjective, free word association. If the physical adjective from “cat” was “yarn,” the person then seeks to use the same process illustrated in Step 1, except this time searching for the first emotional description of “yarn” that comes to mind. Let’s say the person gets “tangled.”\n\n3) From cat, the person can subjectively deduce, given the context of their own brain and the feeling of their dream, that on some level this cat represents a feeling of tangling, perhaps of emotional frustration that could be tied to a whole number of things; perhaps an owner of the cat that was dreamt of.\n\nAt its core, Dreamweaving is a Science of the Self, and the more it is practiced, the more accurate it will become for the individual. For those unfamiliar, the term “theocracy” implies the unhindered rule of God governing over human society. Often this rule of God is considered in the more nuanced, esoteric sense as Natural Law, Divine Law; or the Law of Karma and God, in the Kabbalastic sense, is considered as the embodiment of the known cosmos and all its intermediaries, as represented by the Tree of Life diagram. By Kabbalists and their predecessors, the Tree of Life was considered to be the “body of God,” and by this nature, esoteric scholars considered “God making man in his image,” not as God being a humanoid, but looking at a human being as a fractal reflection of the cosmos—or the Microcosm of the Macrocosm.\n\nThis system, very briefly put, along with the pervasive functions that it implies, is Natural Law. Additionally, this is also the political ideology of anarchism, and although esoteric philosophy is not essential to anarchism, they are very often considered hand in hand by anarchist authors and researchers. Simply put, anarchism is about the abolishment of hierarchies and institutions, leading to a de-centralized society that promotes group work through voluntarism. In the same way that a neuron or even a bicep strengthens with repetition, so to do the social mainstays adapt to Natural Law, and strengthen over time. This is the alchemy of society!\n\nThe further explanation here is perhaps best illustrated with an example: language. In his essay, “Natural Law Anarchism,” author Jonathan Crowe takes these definitions as generally understood above, and goes a step further by actually transposing them onto modern society, by exploring hypothetical thought experiments based on prior history and empirical deduction of logic and rationale. The quote, taken from this essay, which can be read here, explains how language explains how altruistic social conventions will arise through anarchism like the strengthening of the neuron:\n\n    “The main problem with his argument [of statism over anarchism] is that it overlooks the central role of social conventions in solving coordination problems. Many social coordination problems—including extremely complex ones—are solved by convention, rather than authority. Languages, for example, are complex sets of conventions that have evolved in response to the need for society-wide standards of communication. They work well even though nobody planned them. It is arguable that many other social coordination problems could be solved by convention in the absence of a centralized legal authority. This would result, if not in unanimity, then something functionally very similar.”\n\nOn the other hand, theocracy is often interpreted quite differently. It is considered, by many other philosophers, that since hierarchies can be seen throughout nature, that Hierarchy is the Divine/Natural Law. These were the ideas that seem to be fostered by the traditional gnostic Mystery Initiations, as elaborated by Plato in his work, “The Republic,” and as can be seen with the rise of the theocratic rule of the pharaoh in ancient Egypt, which seems to have stemmed in part from Babylon, and saw deep fruition in the societies of Greece, Rome, Persia and the like. Even in ancient Europe, the Druids were often considered the Gnostic interpretation of this hierarchy. In ancient India, the Vedic monks were considered this intermediary, and it was thought by the Vedic that the social-spiritual intermediary that man was in need of was a transitory period—the spiritual training wheels of the common man.\n\nAlong this line of thought, in Vedic cosmology, their astronomy involved a charting of the time cycles of the celestial bodies and their interactions with each other on an energetic level on top of simply observing these planets, and the Veda believed in “Yuga Cycles” as a result of this, which can be considered an Indian understanding of the Precession of the Equinoxes and the ancient House of the Zodiac. For those unfamiliar, the term “theocracy” implies the unhindered rule of God governing over human society. Often this rule of God is considered in the more nuanced, esoteric sense as Natural Law, Divine Law; or the Law of Karma and God, in the Kabbalastic sense, is considered as the embodiment of the known cosmos and all its intermediaries, as represented by the Tree of Life diagram. By Kabbalists and their predecessors, the Tree of Life was considered to be the “body of God,” and by this nature, esoteric scholars considered “God making man in his image,” not as God being a humanoid, but looking at a human being as a fractal reflection of the cosmos—or the Microcosm of the Macrocosm.\n\nThis system, very briefly put, along with the pervasive functions that it implies, is Natural Law. Additionally, this is also the political ideology of anarchism, and although esoteric philosophy is not essential to anarchism, they are very often considered hand in hand by anarchist authors and researchers. Simply put, anarchism is about the abolishment of hierarchies and institutions, leading to a de-centralized society that promotes group work through voluntarism. In the same way that a neuron or even a bicep strengthens with repetition, so to do the social mainstays adapt to Natural Law, and strengthen over time. This is the alchemy of society!\n\nThe further explanation here is perhaps best illustrated with an example: language. In his essay, “Natural Law Anarchism,” author Jonathan Crowe takes these definitions as generally understood above, and goes a step further by actually transposing them onto modern society, by exploring hypothetical thought experiments based on prior history and empirical deduction of logic and rationale. There is a difference between a doctrine, or tenets, and dogma. It is inherently crucial for any school of thought to define what it is and what it isn’t, otherwise it is basically nothing in particular. This is what the New Age is: nothing in particular. Just a patchwork of spiritual philosophy, partially inspired by religion, the occult, and modern science. It is a counter mimicry of true gnosis, because gnosis by definition is an unshakeable foundation, and this is something that New Age boasts to lack! One of the biggest claims to fame of this movement is that it has no specific tenets and follows no specific guidelines, so it simply defeats itself.\n\nNew Age\n\nHowever, before diving even deeper into this argument, this article will propose some “New Age” philosophies that were enjoyed at one time by this journalist, and to a degree are still deeply respected. This example will illustrate the overall point.\n\nTake into account, author Don Miguel Ruiz, and his book, The Four Agreements. Ruiz is supposed to be of ancient Toltec lineage, which were an indigenous Mesoamerican people from the “Early Post-Classic” Period of the archaeology in Mexico. Taken from toltecspirit.com, are the Four Agreements, which given by Ruiz as traditional Toltec philosophy.\n\n1. Be Impeccable with your Word: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the Word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your Word in the direction of truth and love.\n\n2. Don’t Take Anything Personally: Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.\n\n3. Don’t Make Assumptions: Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.\n\n4. Always Do Your Best: Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.”\n\nWho could possibly say that these four tenets, especially when briefly defined, are misguided or even false? These are genuine mental attunements towards a psychic equilibrium within and around a person, but is this anything even close to gnosis? Of course not—this is well-considered spiritual self-help, and it’s some good advice.\n\nBut let’s get one this straight, right here, once and for all, things like: Hermeticism, magick, alchemy, astrology, numerology, astrotheology, archetypes, Tarot, Kabbalah, Eastern Mysticism, Witchcraft and Paganism, Rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, shamanism, herbalism, meditation, extra-sensory perceptions, reincarnation, parallel universes and dimensions, and sacred geometry, are NOT New Age. New Age may try to apply any one of these esoteric traditions in whatever way, but these things are etymologically gnostic teachings. And God help the person who considers Karma to be some sort of New Age bunk, of all things.\n\nSo, for anyone who has found some value in New Age philosophy: don’t discount it, but reassess it. Re-contextualize it, and search for the deeper applications of the teachings. Passio’s topic of research is esoteric/occult gnosis, and his lectures are known to be thorough and long. The reason he is brought to discussion in this article, is for the priceless seminar lecture given by Passio, entitled, New Age Bullshit.\n\nHere is a brief video of the seminar’s points in Passio’s own words: \n\nFor those looking for Passio’s all encompassing, unfiltered view on the subject, here is his seven hour online seminar (briefer, hour-long live lectures are on YouTube):\n\nSince he has deeply elaborated on this in his own time, this article will let Mark Passio speak for himself—the material is so precise and well done, that there really is nothing more to say on the matter. This is a question that philosophers, occultists, and theologians have been asking for quite some time, yet it does not seem that this has been heavily considered in the minds of history’s prominent politicians, warmongers, and the like. This is the undeniable dichotomy of the darkness and the illumination, and this is the deeper understanding of the “Good versus Evil” struggle that is considered throughout humanity. In reality, this “struggle” is the ebb and flow of the darkness and the illumination. As a rule of principle, evil can only come from the shades of spiritual dimness and misunderstanding, just as good can only come from the spiritual illumination of gnosis, or true understanding of Natural Law. This, generally speaking, is the scale of alchemical transmutation—and the ability to define one from the other, has unfortunately become much, much more difficult in today’s postmodern era than it ever should have been.\n\nTo bring this back to the two-part question at hand, addressing the dichotomy of the Divine and the Profane minds of man was considered by the ancient Mysteries to be the answer to their problems. The original secret society, which has blossomed the surviving knowledge of Theosophy, Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism, and the other “elitist-bent” esoteric orders, were the Gnostic Mysteries. Originally, during their historical inception, the Mystery Initiations were not hidden to only the privileged of society, but were veiled in mental and physical obstacles so nuanced and intense, that only the pure mind was attracted to it.\n\nTo explain this deeper, in traditional society, not only did a person have to seek out of his own accord these esoteric initiates, he would then have to go through his own type of esoteric interview process, before actually gaining the possibility to embark on the harrowing and even deadly Initiation ritual. Essentially, it was open to anyone who might find it, but the obstacles generally proved quite unattractive to a person who was not entirely dedicated. The second part to this answer of the Esoteric and the Exoteric, is the component of the gnostic persecution, which was served by this same rigorous protocol of the initiate. Not only could the pure mind alone complete the initiation (those who failed to complete it were executed on the spot), but upon completion, the initiate was sworn into secrecy upon attaining his esoteric teachings. Spilling the esoteric teachings to a member of the Profane was considered punishable by death.\n\n\n\nSo, if this series of articles truly considers itself an accurate introduction into the Mystery Initiations, how could it justify breaking nearly all of these original rules set in place by the original Mystery priests/initiators? Put very simply, these rules were broken a long time ago, and they were not broken down all the way. This series, amassed among the researchers and scholars attributing to this same mindset, is simply seeking to level the playing field due to the infiltration long ago of these sacred Mystery initiations by the “Profane” mind. As this is merely an article in a series, such a complex overthrow is not something that could be outline within these paragraphs—nor is it something that can be said to be entirely known by any researchers yet—but historical research clearly shows patterns and the side effects of this infiltration.\n\nWhat researchers are looking at here is not “evil Freemasonry running the government” because the same esoteric corruption in government today can be found in ancient societies as well—the societies that, again, eventually blossomed schools like Freemasonry. What can really be seen here is a cycle of dynamic exchange (a Yin and Yang personification of sorts) between the gnostic idea of the Divinely Enlightened God-King, and the overthrow of this notion into a subtle version of overt dictatorship or, at least, imperialism. For argument’s sake, it seems that the Egyptian Pharaoh was perhaps an original authentic attempt at the divine ruler which was perverted into dictatorship through bloodlines; in Greece, it would appear that bloodlines may have always held the power, although it was at first an attempt at noble rule that was perverted (this mark may be easily personified by Alexander the Great’s death); the Roman empire, seems like a possible example of rule that was corrupt from the start.\n\nnatural law\n\nIn more modern terms, it is hardly a secret anymore that the American revolution was largely (if not entirely) inspired and enacted by certain Freemasonic lodges (if not the entire network of masonry as a whole). The notion of the ruler elected by the people by periodical terms of office was considered to be most effective philosophical application of the gnostic idea of the Divine Ruler. If this ruler was to be a ruler of his people, let God speak through the people, instead of a divine priest class! However, this in turn has as well been corrupted over time. As a very general overview, this modern overthrow of American government was a two-part takeover, culminating in the creation of the petrodollar—the Rockefellers monopolizing the original oil industry, and the Rothschilds monopolizing the original banking administrations.\n\nFor brevity, this article will not go into the egregious examples and details throughout history to explain why this is a fundamentally accurate analysis of American politics, and how it has exactly corrupted modern society as a whole—but take these hyperlinked topics in a list as some evidence: Rockefeller Medicine, The House the Rothschilds Built: History of the Rothschild Family, Rothschild Banking System, How Big Oil Conquered the World, Occult America, The Ineptitude of Modern Education, The Wedding of Modern Industry and Politics, Occult Nazi Germany, Project Paperclip, Occult NASA, and Esoteric Symbolism in Modern Media.\n\nThis long-winded answer not only empirically defines the perversion of the gnostic esoteric knowledge of Natural Law, but on a much deeper level, lends credence to the notion of the shift from the Age of Pisces, into the Age of Aquarius, which is currently an ongoing process. The end of the Mayan calendar was actually their prediction of the end of the Age of Pisces, although nothing is an exact science—and the exact time of this transition is still debated amongst scholars looking at different sets of data from different schools of thought throughout different eras in history. However, all indications point to the transition within the next hundred to five hundred years or so, and while this is quite a wide gap of data, in the grand scheme of astronomical mathematical calculations that span over thousands and thousands of years, all these calculations are surprisingly close to each other—clearly denoting an empirical nature in calculation, despite some inaccuracies.\n\nOn a brief, general level, Pisces denotes a grand dichotomy between the divine mystic and the profane lunatic—the medium and the schizophrenic, and in societal terms, denotes the relevance of the division of Esoteric and Exoteric. Aquarius, a water symbol, is often considered within the societal context of “knowledge flooding over the world like water” and on a personal level, Aquarius generally denotes the determined intellectual—the detective, equipped with empirical deduction of the gnostic variety, on a quest toward illumination, and all the negative, obsessive nature that can come with a “determined intellectual” as well.\n\nAs the cat has already been ripped from the esoteric bag, and mankind is rampant with Profane minds equipped with Divine knowledge, this series is again meant to level that playing field as one of the mere grains of sand in the hourglass tipping towards the coming age of esoteric disclosure.\n\nToday’s political administration of the Gnostic Mysteries is entirely documented and prevalent, whether it be politicians or media moguls with esoteric brotherhood ties, the symbolism within the architecture of political buildings and monuments, or even the blatant symbolism tossed about by Mega-Media corporations. What makes this a corruption, instead of just an application of esoteric knowledge, are merely the fruits of society today as can be seen by any person. Things are not pretty, and it is because most of the common man has become incredibly “Profane” to esoteric philosophy—and this profanity is no longer by nearly as much choice as it once was (hardly any choice today with all the cultural conditioning, although the possibility to choose can never be truly taken away).\n\nInstead, by ways of Freudian/Bernaysian characterization, the modern elitist, “enlightened” to these esoteric ways, has perverted them to suit their means. Instead of being the Divine Rulers to lead the people who simply choose to be led, they have become the leaders who have systemically seized their power and subverted the will of the unknowing public. In reality, these two methodologies possibly have more in common than they do not, but the outcomes are clearly substantially different in the long run. It is the difference between the farmer or gardener who raise their crops and animals to live healthy and honorable lives so that they may serve a higher purpose to keep the farm going; and an animal processing facility.\n\n\n\nAs the final statement, this article upholds the notion that even the idea of the noble horticulturalist of society is, ultimately, not noble at all. Within the same vein as researchers like James Corbett and Mark Passio: governmental rule and political administration is the ultimate and most abhorrent violation of man’s natural laws, and the Natural Law of Karma. The best illustration of this claim is in the argument of political Anarchism, at its core, as a synthesis of modern philosophy and Eastern metaphysics, such as Taoism. A link on the subject can be read here.\n\nThe governmental body serves as the gatekeeper between man and his own psyche on a social level that penetrates to the personal levels of all people, and only when man is united with all levels of his consciousness—to experience the very worst and the very best on the path of alchemical transmutation—can society achieve natural order as a whole. As the old Taoist saying goes,\n\n    “A true Taoist does nothing, and yet things get done.”\n\nYes, people like Plato and the masons that he helped inspire have given society a great wealth of knowledge, but their notion of government is something that they flat-out misunderstood. It doesn’t denote their philosophies as a whole, but the idea of government, even a divine government based on esoteric principles, has proven itself ineffective and eventually, usually a total ruse. This idea needs to be thrown out the window. The entire overall point of the illuminated knowledge is that a person can learn to govern their own mind in natural harmonious accordance with the Law of Karma (Natural Law), and by simple empirical deduction, if and when this is achieved, a natural societal harmony will follow in suit. This is the ultimate injustice that secret societies have done “for the greater good of the people” and—quite paradoxically—many of the members of the secret societies throughout all history have only succeeded in increasing the profanity in society, especially today. All in all, whether a person is totally ignorant to esoteric principles, or a person understands esoteric principles but abuses them deeply, both are classically considered “Profane,” “Un-Begun,” “dimmed,” and uninitiated on their own personal path.",
