title15 Best DApps in [2020] That You Should Try Using
body

When it comes to concluding the best Dapps of 2020 the list is unimaginable. But there are plenty of Dapps that are making inroads to the best Dapps of 2020. YES, these are the software that doesn’t belong to a central authority.

They have changed the perspective of blockchain technology, but there is one thing common in all DApps that they are facilitated to exchange in crypto assets in one way or another. They are open-source software allowing users to access their source code without any hustle and bustle. One of the experts and analyzers have predicted that 2020 will be the year of DApps. It is necessary to analyze quickly what Dapps are before a detailed review of the each DApp thoroughly.

What is a Dapp?

Dapp is an abbreviated term of decentralized application. It is an open-source application that autonomously operates on a decentralized blockchain. Dapp is not controlled by a single person and uses token which follows a standard cryptographic algorithm. It is a program that runs via a decentralized Peer-to-peer network and provides services to its users.

This is a pretty standard option for how data is stored, used and shared. It has taken the network concept to a whole new level. The whole network is on a publicly accessible blockchain for transparency and ease to access. In general, it has improved trust and reliability because of open-source information.

Top Dapp Platforms:

Nothing is more thrilling than to see a really interesting app in the app store but after installing when it is full of promotional ads then it is a piece of rubbish. In the crypto world, Dapp platforms are used as top-ranking platforms when it comes to picking the most adequate and handy pick Dapp.

The Dapp platforms are used to showcase the different projects mostly build on blockchain i.e. EOS, ETH and Steem. Although Ethereum was the first platform that was built for Dapps.

Let’s check out some popular Dapps of 2020 that are ranked highest in terms of popularity in the market and the amount of their usage.

1. Uniswap

Uniswap is a protocol based on Ethereum developed for the automated exchange of digital assets. It is an open-source front-end interface liquidity providers and traders. It is completely On-chain protocol and can be used as long as the MetaMask is enabled.

The interface model of the Uniswap protocol is totally different from other asset exchange platforms. It uses the Liquidity reserves to facilitate its protocol to exchange digital assets. No doubt it is a reliable source to exchange digital assets and it is relatively cheap and is accessible to anyone who is willing to connect on the protocol of Uniswap.

One of the major advantages of the Uniswap protocol is Gas Efficiency. It would be interesting to see how this protocol progress in the future.

2. MakerDAO

Founded by Rune Christesen MakerDAO is a kind of facility that allows its users to borrow loans with a certain amount of interest rate. The background is a bit complicated, but clearly put, and for a specified period of time, people lock ETH into a contract and get a portion of their DAI as equal worth in return.

Unlike other decentralized stablecoins, it holds a rate of $1.00. Whenever the user wants to unlock their ETH which is used as collateral, they simply pay the loan along with charges. A core layer has been created on Ethereum using a Decentralized financing system which we nowadays called “DeFi”.

3. Cryptokitties

Have you ever heard about Virtual Cats? Cryptokitties is a blockchain game developed by Axiom Zen on Ethereum that Lets its players breed, sell, collect and purchase the digital Cats. Every Cryptokitty is unique and is validated by blockchain. It is one of its kind and the first game that is ever built on Ethereum Network.

Its value can increase or decrease based on the market rate. Every Cryptokitty has a unique number and is owned by the user. The features and characteristics can pass to their offspring i.e. color, shape, fur, pattern and many more.

4. Blockchain Cuties

What are the Cuties of Blockchain? The Blockchain Cuties are the newest fun-loving adventure collectible blockchain game where you play with kittens, and different creatures, etc. Every creature is special and unique and belongs to you. You can collect them, train them even test them in battel, arm them if they fail in the battlefield.

The cutties are sold just like other cryptocurrencies to the players. It is the first game ever build to support the 4 blockchains at the same time Ethereum, Tron neo, and EOS. The stats of your cutties stored in Blockchain. In short, it’s the most adventures and cutest blockchain game.

5. Wink

Wink is the redeveloped version of the TRONbet and growing faster in terms of transaction and user volume. it is considered as top Dapps of 2020 in the blockchain market. This platform works much better than the casino. If you’re a casino lover then no doubt this Dapp is for you. Many platforms are partnered with Wink i.e. TranTrade, TRXMarket and many more.

There are many games that you can play to engage yourself i.e. Dice Game, Moon game, and Ring Game. This Dapp provides a perfect opportunity for developers to bring their games lives on this Network and earn profit from it. They just have to pass the test to get listed.

6. DTube

Dtube is like any other streaming platform where you can earn a reward by posting Videos, interact with other content creators or simply using the app actively. You can get a concept very well if you have used YouTube or Reddit before. But it’s not very much like YouTube. Here the users can watch your content, they can vote or they can comment whatever they like.

If your content creates buzz among other creators you will get money in the form of tokens called STEEM. Isn’t this amazing. It’s an outstanding platform for making money out of your Passion.

7. "body": "
\n
When it comes to concluding the best Dapps of 2020 the list is unimaginable. But there are plenty of Dapps that are making inroads to the best Dapps of 2020. YES, these are the software that doesn’t belong to a central authority.
\n
They have changed the perspective of blockchain technology, but there is one thing common in all DApps that they are facilitated to exchange in crypto assets in one way or another. They are open-source software allowing users to access their source code without any hustle and bustle. One of the experts and analyzers have predicted that 2020 will be the year of DApps. It is necessary to analyze quickly what Dapps are before a detailed review of the each DApp thoroughly.
\n
What is a Dapp?
\n
Dapp is an abbreviated term of decentralized application. It is an open-source application that autonomously operates on a decentralized blockchain. Dapp is not controlled by a single person and uses token which follows a standard cryptographic algorithm. It is a program that runs via a decentralized Peer-to-peer network and provides services to its users.
\n
This is a pretty standard option for how data is stored, used and shared. It has taken the network concept to a whole new level. The whole network is on a publicly accessible blockchain for transparency and ease to access. In general, it has improved trust and reliability because of open-source information.
\n
Top Dapp Platforms:
\n
Nothing is more thrilling than to see a really interesting app in the app store but after installing when it is full of promotional ads then it is a piece of rubbish. In the crypto world, Dapp platforms are used as top-ranking platforms when it comes to picking the most adequate and handy pick Dapp.
\n
The Dapp platforms are used to showcase the different projects mostly build on blockchain i.e. EOS, ETH and Steem. Although Ethereum was the first platform that was built for Dapps.
\n
Let’s check out some popular Dapps of 2020 that are ranked highest in terms of popularity in the market and the amount of their usage.
\n
1. Uniswap
\n
Uniswap is a protocol based on Ethereum developed for the automated exchange of digital assets. It is an open-source front-end interface liquidity providers and traders. It is completely On-chain protocol and can be used as long as the MetaMask is enabled.
\n

\n
The interface model of the Uniswap protocol is totally different from other asset exchange platforms. It uses the Liquidity reserves to facilitate its protocol to exchange digital assets. No doubt it is a reliable source to exchange digital assets and it is relatively cheap and is accessible to anyone who is willing to connect on the protocol of Uniswap.
\n
One of the major advantages of the Uniswap protocol is Gas Efficiency. It would be interesting to see how this protocol progress in the future.
\n
2. MakerDAO
\n
Founded by Rune Christesen MakerDAO is a kind of facility that allows its users to borrow loans with a certain amount of interest rate. Whenever the user wants to unlock their ETH which is used as collateral, they simply pay the loan along with charges. A core layer has been created on Ethereum using a Decentralized financing system which we nowadays called “DeFi”.
\n
3. titleFacebook’s Libra will disrupt the Central Banks, says Antonopoulos
body

Facebook’s Libra has been in the top trending news from the time of its announcement on the part of Facebook. The stablecoin, Libra, has spread the fuel across the world and now, different states are planning to issue their cryptocurrencies. Some analysts and economists see it as an attack on the traditional banking system.

Andreas M Antonopoulos, the bitcoin maximalist, passed out very serious comments over Libra during the podcast session Let’s Talk Bitcoin. He seemed very optimistic about the technology underlying the stablecoin. The team behind the project is professional and knows what they are doing per the views of Antonopoulos.

While proposing about the Libra’s features, he said:

They cherrypicked some of the best features of the best cryptocurrencies the state of the art tech that existed out there and they advanced on it a bit.

According to him,

It’s idealistic, progressive, focused and it’s decentralized nature made people consider it.

The crypto community is looking at how they are going to dominate the banks and traditional currencies. He goes on further how Libra will affect the traditional banking infrastructure and banks will be hit hard by Facebook’s cryptocurrency. The giant company has a hold of two billion users and is aware of the users’ needs and requirements. The stablecoin is designed seeing these parameters. He said:

Libra draws on a basket of currency that is funded directly by consumer activity in the same countries where the government is going to come back and ask them for a loan or try to curtail their activity. This is very serious stuff.

Cold Currency Wars

Antonopoulos expressed his concern for the crypto’s future. There will be a currency war between the regions and states. And cryptocurrencies will be of different types based on the usage level.

We’ve now entered the era of cold currency wars. The world is about to have an iron curtain drop in currencies like we’ve never seen before. We’re going to see a fundamental split between East and West in the evolution of state-based currencies, corporate-based currencies, and open cryptocurrencies.

titleEthereum Staking to start with 1M ETH the amount currently staked by ETH2.0 testnet clients
body

Ethereum network is getting ready for Proof-of-Stake (PoS). It is estimated that Ethereum staking is taking off with over one million ETH.

According to Trustnodes around one million ETH has already been staked by the Ethereum 2.0 testnet client.

Ethereum network is preparing for the migration to proof-of-stake. As TokenHell reported yesterday, Ethereum has successfully passed the formal verification of its smart contract that will enable the deposits in the migration of Proof-of-Stake (PoS).

Up to 1M ETH could be already staked by testnet clients

Ethereum Testnets show that up to a million ETH could be already staked in anticipation of Beacon Chain. This amount equals to $160 million. This amount is currently utilizing the single client ETH2.0 tesnet.

32000 validators are currently staking 100000 testnet ETH. This testnet is currently running on the parameters of mainnet but in order to run a full node, a tenth of 32 ETH is required.

Now it is expected that one million ETH is likely to jump to the Proof-of-Stake (PoS) Beacon Chain as soon as it will launch. There are around 600000 ETH that the Ethereum foundation currently has but the foundation aims to add more ETH for staking.

Crypto Exchanges are likely to offer staking services

Several crypto exchanges are likely to offer their staking services. Crypto exchange Coinbase will also provide its staking services and tools to the Ethereum network as they provide their services to other crypto assets. With this, more Ethereum holders will move ahead for staking.

The estimated reward for staking is around 3.5% and it will be based on how much amount is staked. According to Trustnodes, almost 30 million ETH will be staked within the duration of one year but for this purpose, one million validators will be required.

Disclaimer : This article first appears on Tokenhell.com and I'm the Authorized person to share it on Publish0x you can contact at [email protected] for any other query.

Both of these coins were named as examples of cryptocurrencies that are used for infra and interbank payments and settlements.

World Economic Forum section involved various participants of the digital payments ecosystem such as payment service providers, retail payment systems, and cryptocurrencies.

Ripple and JPM coin rivalry

Now that these two coins have been named together as the examples of cryptocurrencies in the World Economic Forum (WEF) toolkit, it means that the rivalry between Ripple (XRP) and JPM coin will start again. The rivalry between both these coins started in 2019.

The CEO of Ripple Brad Garlinghouse noticed the changing tune of banks towards cryptocurrency and says that bank coins only operated within a closed network, therefore they were not the answers.

Toolkit mentions globally available crypto assets

While the World Economic Forum toolkit not only mentioned Ripple and JPM coin but also several other crypto assets were also mentioned in the toolkit.

These include the world’s leading digital asset Bitcoin (BTC), the second-ranked asset Ethereum (ETH), Facebook’s Libra cryptocurrency, and the stablecoin Tether (USDT).

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse also showed action in Davos. By trashing the world’s leading digital currency, he called bitcoin as a means of payment. He also said that Ripple might launch an IPO very soon.

Ripple network is developing and growing day by day. It has once again proven its worth as it has been mentioned in the World Economic Forum toolkit in Davos. If Ripple keeps developing its network it can do much in the future.

Disclaimer : This article first appears on Tokenhell.com and I'm the Authorized person to share it on Steemit you can contact at [email protected] for any other query.

titleSurvey Alert : One-third of the US Small and Medium Businesses accept crypto
body

According to a survey by American Insured Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB), thirty-six percent of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the US are accepting payments in digital currencies. These startups are selling their products and services in return for cryptos. The survey of HSB is conducted by Zogby Analytics that comes out with a result that one-third of the American businesses uses cryptocurrency as payments. The study at wider also found out that 59% of those firms used cryptocurrency for personal usage.HSB’s study also checks the age of these companies means how long they have been working in the US. As per the survey, 47% of the companies, that are accepting cryptocurrency, are running from five years or less, while 20% are working in the business arena for more than twenty years. The vice president of the HSB, Timothy Zeilman, expressed his concern for the pros and cons of the cryptocurrencies. Digital currency is known for its faster transaction process and lower fees for transactions. However, the negative side is also prominent as the Cyber-attacks and frauds are also linked with cryptos.According to Timothy Zeilman:

Cyber criminals follow the money and fraud can be a serious problem. A number of currency exchanges have been hacked or embezzled and millions of dollars were lost. Smaller businesses, especially those starting out, can’t afford to be cheated.

Small Business should focus on Security

Zeilman also stressed that the founders of the small-level businesses should focus on the security measures to prevent from computer attacks and subsequent frauds.

Small business owners should learn all they can about the technology before accepting cryptocurrency. And make sure they have strong data security and insurance to protect against cyber fraud and financial loss.

Zogby Analytics carried out the survey commissioned by HSB and gathered data from almost 505 small and medium-sized businesses in the US.
