      "body": "I was super excited knowing we were going to stay two nights at Dhara Dhevi and on top of that in a villa with plunge pool. We had looked it up online beforehand and were already dreaming about the luxury. Things got even better when we on arrival got the news of a private pool villa upgrade. So I guess it’s no surprise when I tell you that we almost spent the whole weekend on the property of Dhara Dhevi. Already when you arrive and see the main entrance, you know it’s not just going to be any other hotel stay, but an experience.  The first thought that goes through your mind is that you have found a hidden palace. The land is divine and it’s like you’re no longer in Chiang Mai, but a magical kingdom far far away. Gorgeously carved wood and white concrete, rice fields, temples and ruins are some of the details that make the perfect scenery. If you want to keep yourself busy while you’re there,  they also offer lots of fun activities like rice planting, cooking school and arts and crafting.\n\n![girl_and_umbrella_dhara_dhevi_chiangmai.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmYc24HCJ49sJd74kiUS5HLLCwi2oHYJYVWmwXYG5ZdEvL/girl_and_umbrella_dhara_dhevi_chiangmai.jpg)\n\nSince I absolutely had to go to the night bazar to have my favourite pizza in all of Thailand (It’s absolutely worth mentioning) at The Dukes, we didn’t get much time to try out the restaurants at the resort. But, luckily we did have time to try out a couple of courses at one of them called “Farang ses”, and the French cuisine there is amazing. The meat was cooked to perfection. Not to mention all the stunning details in the restaurant. I also want to recommend you to visit their cake shop. Try their “afternoon tea” set, you won’t be disappointed.       "body": "There’s so many things to do around Bangkok and you’ll never have a hard time finding a good list of what to do while visiting. But I feel like the list has never been updated and that there is too many places and things on repeat. So in this interview with Jetstar Magazine I’ve tried to mention some of the more hidden gems, and some places (like JJ Market) that are totally mainstream but has to be experienced! Our first stop was the stunning East Asiatic building. This Venetian style building is one of the many buildings with European heritage scattered around Thailand. We actually got to enter the building as there were a bunch of people from Tourism Authority of Thailand with us, which made the experience quite unique. \n\n![MG_9359.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSVfticDuTWv3pT2qi1QMKT6tVFz6L8rpM1bbDENQoFat/MG_9359.jpg)\nLater on we walked over to Assumption Cathedral, another beautiful building with European influence. Place. I rarely explore in this area and have never heard about this mall, but it was fun to see a mall with so much history. The main speaker,  Luc Citrinot made quite a good presentation about the Bangkok’s culture and heritage and has also made a map where you can locate all the European heritage sites along Thailand. There’s also an app called EUNIC for those of you who can’t get your hands on a map. We are already planning a little tour to go check out the sites. There are so many buildings we have yet to seen!",
