| title | Gaming for good. |
| body | Hi Steemit community. I decided that this year would be the year where I want to do things for myself - no longer just wait for opportunities to come, but to really make them. I have always had a few different ideas that I thought could be cool, or could even be big - but i've never felt that any of them were "the one". And then I read: "I keep hearing from certain people how they are waiting for the right idea to start their own business. How, if they had this one idea than they would get up and start their own business and work for themselves. Do not get me wrong, the idea is important. However, what is even more important is execution. Anyone can have an amazing idea. There are very few people who can take an idea and actually implement it." We learn from doing, from experiments - and we see that in kids. They're always "playing", always investigating, always curious. I don't know why we start to lose that as we get older, but it's time to re-find it, it's time to get curious again. About everything. Why shouldn't we eat the banana skin? Why do I sleep "the right way up"? How do you know that's the best way to tie your shoe laces? So let's build. If you are an app / game developer or designer that would also like to shake things up this year, then don't hesitate to get in touch. |

| body | Are you currently building boats? As a hobby, or just on the side? I would like to tell you to go for it! If you start today, and look back in 5 months, or 5 years - how many boats would you have built? But if you do nothing, in 5 months / 5 years, you will still just say to yourself "What if I had built boats?" "What would I be doing now?" I'm not saying quit your job, but definitely test it out, an hour here or there - wake up earlier on the weekend. If you really want it, you have to make it happen for yourself! |

| title | QUARTER LIFE CRISIS |
| body | "Millions of professional workers in their 20s and 30s are having a "quarter-life crisis", a report claims. A third feel they've wasted years in the wrong job, found LinkedIn." Really? I think that if you've wasted those years, it's in your own fault. Maybe harsh - but there is truth in it. The thing is, they are only wasted years if you let them be. There is always a learning opportunity. You could have the worst job on the planet, and spend the most time doing it - but you couldn't tell me that there is not something you could learn from it. So if it's true that a third of 20-30 year olds feel like they've wasted time in the wrong job, why haven't they done something about it? I think one of the main problems for millenials / young people (my age range) is that we want and expect too much too soon. When it's not "perfect" or "everything we imagined" it's completely wrong, or not desirable, and we want to quit. It's also the idea of comfort - they didn't want to not have the latest phone / clothes / apartment.. so they sacrifice what they really want in the long-term, as in dreams and goals (and ultimately happiness) for their short term goals - car / independence / house / beer / partying with friends. I say be a bit more patient. Stick with the job - turn it into something that will help you down the road. It may not be perfect now, but it doesn't have to be, as long as you're learning something from it, and as long as it's setting you up for the next step, whatever that may be. And if it really is wrong, don't continue with it. For people who are 20 and 30, time is still very much on your side. The top CEO's, the people who we all look up to, and aspire to be like.. how old are they? What do you think? |

| body | So far i'm really enjoying Steemit. There are some really good writers, and a large part of the community seems to have good intentions. (of course, it's slightly annoying with a bunch of these trade for trade people, but I guess that's inevitable.) The design is good too - clean and simple. The one thing i'm missing, which I really love on "medium", is the reading time of an article. It's really nice to see how long you will spend on article before clicking through to it. Maybe it will come on an update? |

| title | I bought a bitcoin. |
| body | It happened. After a few weeks of reading about blockchain, and cryptocurrency, and bitcoin, and alt coins, and forks, and spoons (unrelated, but I was hungry), I finally decided it was time to join the revolution. So I did. I can now call myself a proud investor in cryptocurrency. All 0.00857 of it. And since I bought, the price has only gone down. But I guess I am a hodler now. So hodl I will. Does Bitcoin or cryptocurency really have the power to change the world? Is it going to be the new currency? Is it going to be as big as "the internet"? I don't know if anyone can say for sure.. but it's definitely interesting. Why can't it? Money has never made sense, that's why when you talk to kids about poor people, or having a lack of money, they have a simple solution to just print more, and give it to everyone. I haven't invested that much in Bitcoin, and I probably won't. I'm not hoping to make millions from it, but I also won't lose too much. Right now i'm just interested in the new technology, and it's a good way to keep some focus on it. |

After a few weeks of reading about blockchain, and cryptocurrency, and bitcoin, and alt coins, and forks, and spoons (unrelated, but I was hungry), I finally decided it was time to join the revolution. \n\nSo I did. I can now call myself a proud investor in cryptocurrency. All 0.00857 of it. \n\nAnd since I bought, the price has only gone down. But I guess I am a hodler now. So hodl I will. \n\nDoes Bitcoin or cryptocurency really have the power to change the world? Is it going to be the new currency? Is it going to be as big as \"the internet\"?\n\nI don't know if anyone can say for sure.. but it's definitely interesting. Why can't it? Money has never made sense, that's why when you talk to kids about poor people, or having a lack of money, they have a simple solution to just print more, and give it to everyone. \n\nI haven't invested that much in Bitcoin, and I probably won't. I'm not hoping to make millions from it, but I also won't lose too much. Right now i'm just interested in the new technology, and it's a good way to keep some focus on it.",

| body | An Idea Every Day. I was going to post a new idea every day.. but in the short week that it took my account to get verified, i've only tried to change my name 45 times. (not going to start a new account.) Anyway, for the time being I would like to remain anonymous. With light of recent scandals, and my aim to fame, (well, steemit fame), maybe it's not a great thing that everyone knows who I am.. that can come later. I want to try to keep everything short, easy to read, and easy to write. I would like to tell you what you can expect from my blog / steemit / not sure what it is.. but I honestly don't know. Most likely it will be a mixture of what I find interesting or annoying at that moment. And i'll try to be funny, because that's fun. And add a meme reference or two, because that's what makes me a millenial (uh-oh, a clue!) I'm gonna write a different post now, because this already seems too long, and I didn't say anything! |
