De hecho, en la etimología de la palabra se encuentra la voz latina prendĕre que significa literalmente coger o tomar. Es habitual emplear este término para designar a una «persona que crea una empresa» o que encuentra una oportunidad de negocio, o a alguien quien empieza un proyecto por su propia iniciativa.\n\nDefinición de emprendedor\nPero, yendo mas allá,  emprendimiento es aquella actitud y aptitud de la persona que le permite emprender nuevos retos, nuevos proyectos; es lo que le permite avanzar un paso mas, ir mas allá de donde ya ha llegado. Es lo que hace que una persona esté insatisfecha con lo que es y lo que ha logrado, y como consecuencia de ello, quiera alcanzar mayores logros.\n![K.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeHKSdKdQoh36BMCc8fqhN5RETj96HFv6f7aZHdcvzM2y/K.jpg)\n\n¿Qué debes hacer para emprender? ¿Qué actitud y espíritu hay que tener? A continuación algunos consejos generales para abordar el emprendimiento y la labor empresarial.\n\n1. Desempeño. No sólo hay que trabajar y ya, sino trabajar y muy duro para conseguir todos los retos que te propusiste antes de empezar tu proyecto. Si has conseguido obtener buenos resultados y tu empresa sale adelante nunca bajes los brazos. Es el primer mandamiento de todo buen emprendedor.\n\n2. Creatividad. En el trabajo no sólo tenemos que hacer las cosas diarias en forma de rutina y monotonía, sino ser creativo, innovar y crear cosas nuevas; y si no son nuevas, una manera distinta de verlas y una forma distinta de pensarlas y ejecutarlas.\n\n3. Innovar cada día. No nos podemos quedar anclados en la idea inicial, sino innovar en cada momento. Innovar en los distintos aspectos: procesos, ideas para el negocio, mejoras, etc.\n\n4. Pensar en mejorar cada producto/servicio y hacerlo realidad. No podemos permitirnos perder días, meses o hasta años, sin realizar cambios o mejoras en el producto o en el servicio. Aunque es bien conocida la frase: “si algo funciona, no lo toques”, cualquier área de negocio tiene su ciclo de vida, que tras el éxito, siempre acaba por terminar.\n“Actitud positiva”\n5. Trabaja con ganas, ilusión y motivación. No tienes que olvidar nunca qué te llevo a emprender, conseguir tus sueños. Si has tenido tanta “fortuna, suerte o has estado en el lugar o momento idóneo” es porque te lo mereces, pero esa esencia y carácter nunca te puede fallar. Por tanto, actitud positiva y no decaer. Si hubiera algún mal momento  “está permitido caerse, pero es obligatorio levantarse”.\n\n6. Debe gustarte lo que haces. Con este principio ganas siempre, ya que es una situación en la que no sólo trabajas para “ganarte la vida”, también disfrutas haciendo lo que haces. Aunque haya momentos duros, hay que aprovechar la ocasión y estar contento con tu trabajo y satisfecho cuando sabes que además de gustarte lo haces bien.\n\n7. Sé original en el contenido y en la forma. No sólo debes ser creativo a la hora de crear el negocio, sino también en cómo gestionarlo y publicitarlo. Siempre es mejor que tenga un buen diseño, que guste y llame la atención para garantizar la aprobación del público.\n\n8. Estar al día del área de tu negocio: informado y alerta, el famoso awareness. Es decir, estar atento de las tendencias, crisis y posibles oportunidades que pueden surgir en el día a día con las noticias del entorno. Es recomendable ver al menos dos o tres veces por semana las noticias de la manera que más te guste, ya sean medios oficiales offline y online (prensa, radio, tv), como las redes sociales, que son como un barómetro de lo que pasa en el día a día: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, G+…\n\n![FR.jfif](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmYHesuKiRsctTwXcXpUZvGKUWwKdxd8fv5ZtZPpqtvcof/FR.jfif)\n“Lidera y comunica bien”\n9. Sé un buen líder y buen comunicador. Es un requisito básico si te encargas de coordinar o ser el jefe de uno o varios departamentos. ¿El líder y comunicólogo nacen o se hacen? Siempre es la misma pregunta: tienen que tener aptitudes y actitudes e ir mejorando con la experiencia. Si no eres buen líder, o “no tienes madera de líder” y no se te da bien comunicar, puedes formarte y seguro que mejorarás con el tiempo.\n\n10. No sigas todos los consejos de las personas que te rodean. A la hora de emprender, si es la primera vez que lo haces, si te rodeas en un entorno de gente con experiencia (o a veces incluso sin ella), seguro que te dan  varios consejos sobre cómo hacer esto o lo otro: Lo que hay que saber es que pocas personas tienen éxito absoluto y que el éxito total es efímero y no se consigue nunca al 100%, por ser tan similar a la felicidad.\n\n11. Fórmate, fórmate y no dejes de formarte y aprender. Cada día se aprende algo nuevo, ya sea con cursos, con ponencias, con seminarios, con libros, con el día a día, viviendo el offline y lo online. Con experiencia y sin ella, siempre podemos seguir aprendiendo.\n\n12. Cuida de tu negocio, como si fuera tu propio hijo: pasión, cariño y dedicación. Es verdad que no es un hijo, es algo que no puedes palpar, aunque sí sentir. Ese  sentimiento de dedicación posteriormente te llevará al orgullo si consigues grandes cosas: es similar a tener un hijo y que logre cosas importantes en la vida.\n\n13. No dudes. Ni de ti mismo, ni de tu empresa. Cuando algo se empieza a cuestionar es malo. Es bueno intentar mejorar siempre, pero no con dudas. No seas dubitativo y ve siempre a por todas. Si algo se aprende en la vida y en los negocios, es a no dudar, y ante la duda, lo mejor es arriesgarse.\n\n14. Fomenta un buen clima de trabajo: tanto individualmente, como colectivamente, es necesario que haya siempre un ambiente distendido y un lugar donde uno se pueda encontrar confortable trabajando.",
