| body | It's pretty amazing to think that we now can connect with anyone, anywhere in the world, at any time - all thanks to the development of mobile technology and social media. And as you mentioned, people use social media for a wide variety of reasons, from sharing entertaining content to promoting their favorite brands or causes. Interestingly, social media has also given rise to a whole industry of online influencers, who can make a living by promoting products and services to their followers. And for those looking to boost their online presence, there are even [VK Accounts for sale](https://accsmaster.com/buy-vkontakte-vk-accounts) and other social media accounts available for purchase. |

| body | Social media has advantages and disadvantages. The main thing is to learn how to use them profitably. I also decided to use my Instagram account to promote my personal brand. But the attackers hacked my account and I needed to do something to restore it. This source has become a godsend for me https://www.antiban.pro/en/ It helped me solve the problem quickly and legally. |

| body | A common question I am asked by young Padawans is how do they get involved in the technology field and how do they grow in their field. One of the fastest growing technology industries is the networking side of IT. Networking is a specific skill that few people can learn and want to be involved in. There is complex coding, switch configuration, and network troubleshooting that can take years to learn. A simple mistake in networking can be catastrophic as we recently saw with the Amazon accident where a network employee took down multiple servers just because he typed in an incorrect command. So, to the networking enthusiasts who want to learn more, do more, or just want to see what’s new in the market, how do you do so and where do you go? Synology is a rapidly growing networking company that has a strong focus and passion in this field. For the past few months, I’ve been reviewing and using their Synology in-home network attached storage (NAS) devices with flawless success. I consider Synology a networking brand because of their push for fast, reliable, and secure storage devices. Synology NAS devices are more than hard drive cradles when you get to know them and how to interface with them. Before Synology, I began learning the interface for Nimble Storage, a recent HP company purchase. This is a big competitor to Synology as both brands are focused on server room business software racking solutions. It was when I received my first Synology NAS, a home-based hard drive storage unit, that I began to realize that Synology is the superior player in this market. I’ve never liked how when I purchase something for home, it’s as easy as one, two, three, then, when I get into my day job, similar equipment that is supposed to do more and be better than the home grade unit, is more difficult and harder to learn Why can’t simplicity be both for home and work users? A home router can be a great example of this. Let’s say you want to get a router that is higher end and plan to spend a little more because you would like to control the wireless network. You check out the big players like Linksys, Belkin, and Netgear; all of which have a plethora of routers to choose from. I can almost guarantee you that the interface you’ll receive with your expensive purchase will be the same interface that is given to their least expensive router. It will look like something from the early 2000s and be fairly basic. Are the settings that you need in some menu somewhere? Yes, but menus and objects are rarely explained for the novice user. This is where I find Synology excels above their competition. It’s not just about performance and looks, but a lot of time is spent on the practicality and accessibility of their products. One of my more recent reviews of the Synology RT2600ac reflects what I mean. It’s an enterprise-grade router, that has enterprise-grade technology and features, that is secure, and has the most simplistic interface that I think would take a novice only minutes to learn and interact with. The best part of it all, is that everything built into the router comes with a detailed knowledge base article. Meaning, if you don’t know what a switch or option will do when you enable/disable it, the Synology help guide is there to inform you of what it does. With the business growing so rapidly, Synology has begun its worldwide Synology 2018 conference where they plan on going over everything Synology. The events for Taiwan and China have already taken place but there are more events throughout the rest of the world during the rest of September and October. The worldwide conference is a half-day event that is aimed at Synology partners and enthusiasts and will include new product/software announcements. Plus, the half-day event allows you to get hands-on demos and win some giveaways. It’s an event that will be jam-packed with networking-based knowledge and I recommend that those with any passion in the networking industry attend. Additionally, there is a lot of business networking that can be done as you meet people with similar passions. If you’ve never heard of the brand, I would recommend you check out my past reviews on their products. Especially the review on the RT2600ac Synology router. Moreover, to get involved with Synology, the world’s greatest router will also be on sale for a short period at significant discounts. |

"body": "A common question I am asked by young Padawans is how do they get involved in the technology field and how do they grow in their field.\n\nOne of the fastest growing technology industries is the networking side of IT. Networking is a specific skill that few people can learn and want to be involved in. There is complex coding, switch configuration, and network troubleshooting that can take years to learn.\n\nA simple mistake in networking can be catastrophic as we recently saw with the Amazon accident where a network employee took down multiple servers just because he typed in an incorrect command.\n\nSo, to the networking enthusiasts who want to learn more, do more, or just want to see what’s new in the market, how do you do so and where do you go?\n\nSynology is a rapidly growing networking company that has a strong focus and passion in this field. For the past few months, I’ve been reviewing and using their Synology in-home network attached storage (NAS) devices with flawless success.\n\nI consider Synology a networking brand because of their push for fast, reliable, and secure storage devices. Synology NAS devices are more than hard drive cradles when you get to know them and how to interface with them.\n\nBefore Synology, I began learning the interface for Nimble Storage, a recent HP company purchase. This is a big competitor to Synology as both brands are focused on server room business software racking solutions.\n\nIt was when I received my first Synology NAS, a home-based hard drive storage unit, that I began to realize that Synology is the superior player in this market.\n\nI’ve never liked how when I purchase something for home, it’s as easy as one, two, three, then, when I get into my day job, similar equipment that is supposed to do more and be better than the home grade unit, is more difficult and harder to learn\n\nWhy can’t simplicity be both for home and work users?\nA home router can be a great example of this. Let’s say you want to get a router that is higher end and plan to spend a little more because you would like to control the wireless network. You check out the big players like Linksys, Belkin, and Netgear; all of which have a plethora of routers to choose from.\n\nI can almost guarantee you that the interface you’ll receive with your expensive purchase will be the same interface that is given to their least expensive router. It will look like something from the early 2000s and be fairly basic.\n\nAre the settings that you need in some menu somewhere? Yes, but menus and objects are rarely explained for the novice user.\n\nThis is where I find Synology excels above their competition. It’s not just about performance and looks, but a lot of time is spent on the practicality and accessibility of their products. One of my more recent reviews of the Synology RT2600ac reflects what I mean.\n\nIt’s an enterprise-grade router, that has enterprise-grade technology and features, that is secure, and has the most simplistic interface that I think would take a novice only minutes to learn and interact with.\n\nThe best part of it all, is that everything built into the router comes with a detailed knowledge base article. Meaning, if you don’t know what a switch or option will do when you enable/disable it, the Synology help guide is there to inform you of what it does.\n\nWith the business growing so rapidly, Synology has begun its worldwide Synology 2018 conference where they plan on going over everything Synology. The events for Taiwan and China have already taken place but there are more events throughout the rest of the world during the rest of September and October.\n\nThe worldwide conference is a half-day event that is aimed at Synology partners and enthusiasts and will include new product/software announcements. Plus, the half-day event allows you to get hands-on demos and win some giveaways.\n\nIt’s an event that will be jam-packed with networking-based knowledge and I recommend that those with any passion in the networking industry attend. Additionally, there is a lot of business networking that can be done as you meet people with similar passions.\n\nIf you’ve never heard of the brand, I would recommend you check out my past reviews on their products. Especially the review on the RT2600ac Synology router. Moreover, to get involved with Synology, the world’s greatest router will also be on sale for a short period at significant discounts.",

| body | Despite being involved in the technology world and having all of these products on Qwerty Articles to review, I often stay away from the latest and greatest technology. By the time I had finally gotten a smartphone, friends of mine were already on their third or fourth. I started off getting the most popular smartphone way back then, the Samsung Galaxy S3. It was slightly cheaper than an iPhone at the time, and it offered more bang for your buck. I loved my Galaxy S3; it had Samsung’s big new user interface push behind it with new technology that no other smartphone came close to offering. Even the little water droplet notification sound and whistling bird noises can be heard today on a modern phone. I kept that Galaxy S3 for years, well past my Verizon upgrade plan, but, alas, it sooner or later would fall behind in the never-ending evolvement of technology. They say that every six months, what is considered ‘modern technology’ nowadays will soon be a thing of the past. That statement holds true, but not just with technology. Cars, appliances, services, and technology all need to be constantly updated, so the consumer has something new and shiny to buy. Apple has a new iPhone release every nine or so months, mainly due to the popularity of the word ‘iPhone’. As my Galaxy S3 became outdated to the point where it was beginning to slow down, I opted to upgrade to the popular Galaxy Note 4, a phone that was twice the size of my original Galaxy S3! I was skeptical at first. What would people say when I held this phablet next to my head to make calls? Would it even fit in my pocket? My hands? Holding the phone in the Verizon store is a lot different than using the phone every single day. When standing in the store, I told myself that Samsung most likely wouldn’t have made a phone so large if people wouldn’t have liked it. They must have done user feedback product testing before diving into a fourth-generation model. So, I bought it. From a tiny, outdated Galaxy S3 to a newish (I bought the phone a year past its release) Galaxy Note 4. I had already fallen in love with the Galaxy Android TouchWiz interface, but the screen size was something entirely different. In a matter of a few days, I quickly learned and used the large Note 4 screen as if it was as small as my Galaxy S3. Going from a 4.8-inch screen to a 5.7-inch screen seems like a lot on paper, but it wasn’t in reality. Knowing me, I needed to get a phone that would last me the next few years as I’m not keen on spending money on incremental upgrades like some iPhone fans. Four years later, the Note 4 was beginning to show its age. If we recall my statement from earlier about technology changing every six months, my phone wasn’t just four years old, but eight increments behind modern technology. With Samsung discontinuing Android OS upgrade support for the Note 4, I figured it was time to get an upgrade. The Note 7 seemed promising, but we all know how that went. I thought about jumping to the Galaxy S7, but Samsung told the world it was going to make things right for those who were looking forward to the Note 7. I have never used the S-Pen on my Note 4. I just liked how large the phone was and how it came with better hardware than your typical smartphone. If Samsung had made a normal Galaxy S model that kept the hardware and dropped the pen, I’d be interested. Then, the Galaxy S8 was born. I watched the keynote on the Galaxy S8 and instantly fell in love with the massive screen, powerful hardware, and the fact that this is going to be a phone that will last for at least four years. Coming in two models, the Galaxy S8 has a 5.2-inch screen that seemed perfect for somebody like me. It’s almost the same size as my Galaxy Note 4 and jumping again to a 6.2-inch display for the Galaxy S8+ seemed like it would be a really large phone to use. The day that pre-orders opened, I placed my Galaxy S8 pre-order through Verizon and waited patiently for the phone. I was even excited at how Samsung was including a free Gear VR for pre-orders. Since my phone was a pre-order, I had to wait for it to be shipped. Long story short, Verizon had cancelled my pre-order the day after I had placed it. When I expressed my annoyance at this, Verizon instructed me to go to the store to pick up a phone. Off to the store, I go, and I take a moment to think about my decision. In the store are the new S8 and S8+. Holding both in my hands, I felt like I was at the same crossroads as when upgrading my Galaxy S3. I dived in again and adjusted my order to the S8+. I love this Galaxy S8+, I really do. Everything (except the Bixby button) is absolutely perfect and so well crafted. They did right by making a phone that all Galaxy S and Note users could upgrade to, including me. The S8 was truly a flagship phone. Now that we’ve moved into 2018, Samsung recently released their latest flagship phone, the Galaxy S9 and S9+. Holding both of them in my hands, they look, feel, and perform nearly identically to my S8+. “Did anything change at all?” I asked myself. They differ slightly. Slightly as in only the camera has changed. You get your typical hardware refresh, but every new product comes with the latest and greatest hardware. Where are my 800+ dollars actually going to here? Let’s say that I upgraded my phone every year instead of every four. Let’s say money wasn’t a limiting factor either. Would I still want to upgrade to a Galaxy S9 from a Galaxy S8? No, of course not. Much like how car manufacturers release a new model every year, that doesn’t mean it’s so much better that I need to have the latest and greatest. Even if I were using a Galaxy S7, I would continue to say no to an upgrade. It’s just not worth the cost. Samsung’s massive selling point on the Galaxy S8 was virtually everything about the phone. Here for the S9, it’s only about the camera. The rest is a cloned S8. The camera is pretty and has some seriously impressive hardware and software enhancements. Don’t get me wrong: I would imagine you would love the Galaxy S9’s camera. The thing is if you are so specific on your camera shots, wouldn’t you want to use a more professional point-and-shoot camera instead? A phone should come with its own identity and its own uniqueness, not the common Apple iPhone refreshment of hardware. Samsung was a leader in making their phones different, and now the Galaxy S8 and S9 look so identical from the front that it’s nearly impossible to tell them apart. Software enhancements for the Galaxy S9 seem great at first, but they will trickle their way down to us Galaxy S8 users as Samsung is nearly ready to release Android Oreo for S8 users. I may be on my third smartphone ever, but it’s one that is going to last me the longest. It’s jam-packed with features, modern hardware, and will do everything I throw at it. The Galaxy S9 can do all of that too, but now at a premium price. As much of a fan as I am of Samsung Electronics, if you are thinking about upgrading, I would recommend taking advantage of the Galaxy S8 sales as the new S9 makes its way into the stores. There isn’t enough difference between the S8 and S9 to win me over, and it isn’t enough for me to recommend the new phone. |

| body | On Feb. 14, Ben Frisch, in his 34th year teaching at Friends Seminary, a private school in downtown Manhattan was seeking to demonstrate an obtuse angle in an 11th grade math class. Straightening his arm and pointing it outward, he mimicked the Nazi salute and said, “Heil Hitler.” Mr. Frisch’s father was an Austrian Jew who suffered traumatic anti-Semitic attacks as a child in Poland before World War II and lost his grandparents in the Holocaust. Mr. Frisch, a devout Quaker, has been considered one of the most spiritually serious members of the faculty at the school, founded in 1786, by members of the Religious Society of Friends. No one believed he had suddenly become a Third Reich sympathizer, but at the same time not everyone found his professed effort at comedy particularly whimsical. Not long after the incident, Mr. Frisch received a call from the administration telling him that there had been complaints about his analogy, that some students were offended and that he should not come to school the following morning. A period of limbo preceded a suspension, and on March 9, the day after the school’s gala and auction, he was fired. Later that day, the school’s principal, Robert Lauder (Friends is the rare independent school that shuns the term headmaster), sent a letter to the community explaining the termination. “Our students know that words and signs of hate and fear have no place at Friends,’’ he wrote, adding that as news of Mr. Frisch’s gaffe had circulated, the administration started to receive calls and emails about “other equally inappropriate and troubling actions by Ben.” These were not named, and because Mr. Frisch, who has had no disciplinary actions in his long tenure, is challenging his termination through an internal grievance process, neither he nor the school’s administrators will talk about what has happened. Current and former teachers, students, alumni and many parents quickly voiced their support for him. Various petitions circulated. One that passed around the upper school, where there are 279 students, in advance of the firing, received 190 signatures. A few days after Mr. Frisch was let go, Abraham Levin, a senior, organized a student walkout in protest, and several teachers joined it. Many students expressed the idea that it was ridiculous to think of the incident as anti-Semitic, Mr. Levin told me. At one meeting, he said, a student worried that the school’s reaction could increase actual anti-Semitism because it had the effect of making Jews seem uptight and crazy Mr. Frisch was known as an approachable and passionate teacher. Before the start of each class, he would ring chimes to initiate a moment of silence before the work began, but before that he would ask students whether there was anything on their minds, unrelated to multivariable calculus, that they would like to bring up. “Ben is an exceedingly gentle soul and, to many, was a representation of the Quaker spirit of Friends,” Jordan Barowitz, a former clerk of the alumni council told me. “This incident has stirred up powerful emotions about the changes at the school.” ADVERTISEMENT Over the past 10 to 15 years, Friends, which had once primarily educated the bohemian class, has increasingly come to mirror the altered demographics of downtown, attracting ever-wealthier families, which has led to a lot of discussion about whether the school has veered too far from its traditions of modesty and reflection. The school has developed what Philip Schwartz, who retired from Friends in 2014 after 48 years on the faculty called, “an edifice complex.” There are flat-screen televisions in the cafeteria that display menus. A major renovation will bring an additional 20,260 square feet of academic space, a home for the school’s Center for Peace, Equity and Justice, and a rooftop greenhouse. Shocked by the recent upheaval, Mr. Schwartz said that in his half-century at the school, the biggest change he witnessed was the increasingly dominant role played by parents. When he arrived in the 1960s the school had no endowment. The danger of any educational institution rooted in progressive values but dependent on big money is the default to political correctness as a substitute for a broader liberalism — the promotion of economic equity. You cannot rail against an unfair tax system when you rely on those who benefit from it, but you can patrol offensive speech and innuendo in the name of moral compassion; you can reward unease and grievance as rectitude. What Mr. Frisch did was thoughtless and dumb, and apparently he has done other things that are thoughtless and dumb. As one Friends parent, Alyssa Sadoff, put it, “I would have been gravely disappointed if the school had kept him and would have been extremely unhappy and uncomfortable to have my child in that classroom next year.” At the same time an adherence to the values of forgiveness and restorative justice that institutions like Friends promote would seem to demand a path — reprimand, rehabilitation — other than firing someone who made people uncomfortable. This was a sentiment expressed in letters to the principal from former teachers, administrators and parents. As one parent wrote: “If a ban on certain subjects for humor is now in effect at Friends Seminary, clear warning should be given — especially given the dire consequences for infractions.” |

| body | What I've done on Steemit in the last 7 days A week ago I posted my first post on Steemit. In it, I said my goal of $ 100000, which I want to make with this resource. I have not yet achieved a financial success . At the moment, my earnings on Steemit - $ 10,405 for more than 10 articles. This is one of reasons why I can not talk about Steemit with my friends. They simply don’t understand why I spend so much time here. In order to attract them to this website, I need to show real results, but for now - is less than $ 1 per article. Or about 25 cents for each hour of work. During these 7 days we have been disappointments and moments of happiness. I am glad that I was able to benefit. I received a few comments. They prove that I am writing interestning information. I'm glad I got a few lessons. I lost more than $ 500 for the post and was punished for the wrong tag. Bitter experience - the same experience. Nothing wrong. The conclusion that I made for myself: Steemit - is a great idea that gives us opportunities. Firstly, you can (not me, but I have seen successful positions) really earn. Secondly, there really is interesting materials (and some very original). Thirdly, it is only the beginning (so sometimes there is "injustice" and a lack of objectivity). I still need the money. But money request increased understanding of the idea Steemit. So here I am. So I don’t give up. 7 days - a rather short period of time. However, during this time I made a few posts within my theme. Namely - I talked about the knowledge and books that help people succeed and grow as a person. That's what I've done: Basically, I wrote about the books. Books that have influenced me and to thousands of people around the world. Therefore, I will consider only the material to be useful to society: "Think and Grow Rich"- a remarkable work of Napoleon Hill. Here is a method of how to turn an idea into money. The effectiveness of this method is confirmed by names such as Ford, Roosevelt, Rockefeller and Carnegie. "Say "Yes" to Life." - the book of the famous psychologist Viktor Frankl. This man was in a German concentration camp Auschwitz (Oswiecim) and withstood with dignity all the tests. He later wrote a book, which allows us to understand how to find the meaning of life. It gives us hope, faith, and shows the human will. "The laws of the winners" - a list of 30 principles that use a strong personality. Author works - Bodo Schaefer. This is a man who has proved the effectiveness of the laws of the winners by example. It turned out as much as 3 parts, because the volume of materials is quite large. "100 Ways to self-motivation" - this is a great benefit for Steemit authors. The book is relevant for those people who are now in despair or going through a creative crisis. Its author, Steve Chandler, led 100 ways how to find the strength to move on. In their posts, I'll see a parallel between the authors of this book Steemit and I think it will be useful. There will also be 3 parts, 2 of which are already ready. To make it convenient, I will give all the references to the book at the bottom of this post. And to finish this text I would like wishes: |

| body | When it comes to building a brand, entrepreneurs need to focus on developing a solid foundation of trust with customers -- not just following the latest social media trends. Yet, as the creative director of design studio Weekday Studio I get emails from clients all the time stating, "I want to be the next big brand on Instagram." And while the most recent stats show that there are more than 800 million monthly active users on the platform, Instagram should be used as a tool for marketing, not a foundation for your brand. Why? Just like other social-media frenzies, Instagram won't last forever. (Perfect example: the latest Facebook changes immensely hurt social-first brands.) Having a super Grammable package or Instawall is great, but I urge you to not design your whole brand to fit in the square. Placing too much emphasis on Instagram -- or any social media platform -- runs the risk of limiting your brand’s potential. For founders looking to create a strong brand, here are steps you can take to build one that stands the test of time -- and outlives the latest fad in social media. Develop a strategy and position A strategy is the long-term plan you will use to develop a successful brand and ensure you’re reaching your objectives. When developing your brand strategy, consider these three elements: 1. Know yourself: Your brand is the foundation that informs all aspects of your business. Having a clear vision, mission and values will help inform why you do what you do and help you when questionable decisions arise. Your vision statement is about long term. Where do you want to go? What impact do you want to make on the world? Your mission, simply put, is what and why your brand exists. It should define who your customer is and what service or product you offer. Once you’ve determined your vision and mission, finalize your values. Many entrepreneurs see a market need and breeze past creating values. Don’t make that mistake. Values align everyone to the same page -- from hiring to customer acquisitions, creating efficiencies in culture and building trust between employees and customers. Keep all of these things in mind -- vision, mission and values -- when building your brand as they will be utilized as the foundation blocks to creating a clear, cohesive brand that will build trust and ultimately profits. 2. Know your customer: Your customers are just as much why you exist as your product or service. By truly getting to know and care about your customer, you can create a relationship that invites them into the journey and empowers them to share your brand story with the same conviction as you. Related: The Psychology of Color in Marketing and Branding If you look at brands like Outdoor Voices, Warby Parker, and Fenty Beauty, all have a highly engaged audience. Their customers are their word-of-mouth champions, R&D and defenders against copycat products from new comers and incumbents. This is how great brands are created: for customers and with customers. You can get to know your customer through traditional methods like focus groups and interviews. Tools like SurveyMonkey and Google Analytics are the digital versions that can provide quick feedback from target demographics. You can also take advantage of social media platforms like Instagram, as they are a direct way to hear your customers’ desires and have conversations that will illuminate what’s possible. Related: When Your Customers Are Talking, Quiet Your Brand Voice and Listen 3. Know your competition: There are three types of competitors: direct competitors, indirect competitors and external factors. Direct competitors are businesses that have the same product or service. Indirect competitors are those who don’t offer the same service, but meet the same need in another way. And external factors include circumstance beyond your control. For instance, if your product is a high-end beach towel, you may be competing against grocery bills, movie tickets or a night out. Create a competitive analysis to help you identify competitors, evaluate their strategies and assess their strengths and weaknesses. (Here is a SWOT analysis, if you need help getting started.) This is critical in creating a highly differentiated strategy, visual identity and marketing plan. These discoveries will help you define your position, how your brand is different from your competitors, how it connects to your customers and will allow you to stand out from the crowd. Design a brand identity Once you have a firm understanding of who you are -- your vision, mission and values -- along with assessing your customer and competition, you can begin to create a brand identity that stands out in the market and connects with your customer. A brand identity is the visual aspects of your brand. It is applied to every customer touchpoint -- from packaging, website, brick and mortar and social media. The basic elements of a brand identity include logo, colors, fonts and photography.(Additional items include illustrations, photography, textures, etc.) I cannot stress this enough: your identity is not just your logo; it’s so much more than that. Your identity is all of these pieces working together to reflect the strategy and position. Logo: That said, logos are important. While logos come in many forms (wordmarks, emblems, icons, etc.) their purpose is the same: to stand as a symbolic representation of what your brand is. Logos alone don't make a brand, but when done correctly, they build brand recognition by being both easily identifiable and aesthetically pleasing. Color: While there are all sorts of stereotypes and opinions about the psychology of color, there are a few things to consider: Don’t choose colors solely based on your own personal preferences. Make sure your brand colors are distinguishable from your competitors. Don’t choose your brand colors based on trends. Focus on colors that both reflect your brand's personality and appeal to your target audience. Consider the cultural context of what certain colors communicate (e.g. the color green is often associated with eco-friendly) Typography: Type tells the story of your brand quite literally, but also speaks in a way that's not so obvious. For example, a minimal san-serif typeface might come across as modern or progressive, while a classic serif feels more timeless or old-fashioned. When you add in other characteristics like size, color, letter casing, pairing (finding a secondary font to complement your primary) and kerning (the space between letters), it's easy to see how typography can subconsciously affect the emotive quality of your brand. Tell the world about your brand Today alone I’ve called, texted, DM-ed, chatted, and talked to my team. We communicate with each other in a myriad of ways. Your brand and marketing should be no different. Social media is an incredible tool for connecting with your customers and having them talk about you with their friends. But that’s just what it is, one of the many tools to utilize. Your brand and your marketing strategy help each other but will always be two separate things: your brand informs and guides your marketing, while your marketing then communicates everything out to the world. They should work hand in hand. Related: This Successful Entrepreneur Explains Why You Don't Need Billions to Build a Brand That Hits Home For instance, one way brands can utilize social media is giving customers a behind-the-scenes glimpse into your brand. This in an incredible tool to connect and humanize your brand that has never been easier. Introduce your team; show the design and process of your products or services or take polls to learn what your customers want more of. But please remember, when your customers are interacting with you on social make sure to take the time to be active and respond in a tone that is authentic to your brand. This will build trust and a deeper connection. Stand the test of time Trends come and go, so take time to build a brand foundation. Poorly executed design rarely stands the test of time. What's more vital than pretty, cool or bespoke? A considered manifestation of your brand consistently applied over time across the breadth of your brand. It will drive how you show up, behave and are judged across every brand touch point -- from the top of your funnel to the bottom and what happens after a purchase is made. Take the time to know yourself, mission and values. Use your positioning and story to develop a compelling and thoughtful brand identity and apply that not only to today's business needs and cultural trends but consistently as these change each passing day. It’s only possible to adapt to new mediums when your brand transcends the platform. |

It's actually crazy that we are getting more stressed out during these days with all the helpful tool (like e.g. a washing machine) ... Back in the days people didn't have all this modern things and needed way longer (e.g. for washing cloth). I am really curious about polyphasic sleep which adds some more hours to the day. | body | A note on social responsibility and stock valuation H Russell Fogler, Fred Nutt Academy of Management Journal 18 (1), 155-160, 1975 Abstract The article discusses social responsibility and stock valuation. An empirical study was made of investors valuation of nine paper companies after substantial publicity was released about their pollution tendencies. Cross-section valuation models were prepared for the four quarters beginning just prior to the publicity. Both institutional purchases and price changes were analyzed to determine the impact of undesirable publicity. The authors look at a correlation between profitability and good pollution control. Social closure and earnings inequality in the United States Kim A Weeden American Journal of Sociology 108 (1), 55-101, 2002 This article elaborates and evaluates the neo-Weberian notion of social closure to investigate positional inequality in the United States. It argues that social and legal barriers around occupations raise the rewards of their members by restricting the labor supply, enhancing diffuse demand, channeling demand, or signaling a particular quality of service. Hypotheses derived from the closure perspective are evaluated using new data that map five institutionalized closure devices—licensing, educational credentialing, voluntary certification, association representation, and unionization—onto 488 occupations. Results from multilevel models demonstrate that closure practices, particularly those that generate tangible restrictions on the labor supply, shape the contemporary structure of occupational earnings. Returns to these strategies vary across occupations but are not tightly linked to the complexity of the occupation's knowledge base. If suitably elaborated, closure theory thus offers a promising complement to individualistic explanations of earnings inequality. |

Social closure and earnings inequality in the United States\nKim A Weeden\nAmerican Journal of Sociology 108 (1), 55-101, 2002\nThis article elaborates and evaluates the neo-Weberian notion of social closure to investigate positional inequality in the United States. If suitably elaborated, closure theory thus offers a promising complement to individualistic explanations of earnings inequality.",

| body | Time Management Definition “Time management” is the process of organizing and planning how to divide your time between specific activities. Good time management enables you to work smarter – not harder – so that you get more done in less time, even when time is tight and pressures are high. Failing to manage your time damages your effectiveness and causes stress. It seems that there is never enough time in the day. But, since we all get the same 24 hours, why is it that some people achieve so much more with their time than others? The answer lies in good time management. The highest achievers manage their time exceptionally well. By using the time-management techniques in this section, you can improve your ability to function more effectively – even when time is tight and pressures are high. Good time management requires an important shift in focus from activities to results: being busy isn’t the same as being effective. (Ironically, the opposite is often closer to the truth.) Spending your day in a frenzy of activity often achieves less, because you’re dividing your attention between so many different tasks. Good time management lets you work smarter – not harder – so you get more done in less time. What Is Time Management? “Time management” refers to the way that you organize and plan how long you spend on specific activities. It may seem counter-intuitive to dedicate precious time to learning about time management, instead of using it to get on with your work, but the benefits are enormous: Greater productivity and efficiency. A better professional reputation. Less stress. Increased opportunities for advancement. Greater opportunities to achieve important life and career goals. Failing to manage your time effectively can have some very undesirable consequences: Missed deadlines. Inefficient work flow. Poor work quality. A poor professional reputation and a stalled career. Higher stress levels. Spending a little time learning about time-management techniques will have huge benefits now – and throughout your career. Key Points Time management is the process of organizing and planning how much time you spend on specific activities. Invest some time in our comprehensive collection of time management articles to learn about managing your own time more efficiently, and save yourself time in the future. |
