And even more I see so many in my family and friends circle graduating with Master's Degrees. But even bigger news in Nepal is unemployment. While most Nepalese blame the government of Nepal on this, I think it's actually not the government at all. Correct me if I am wrong.\n\nBefore I even begin my opinion let me tell you, I was a high school dropout. I completed my high school only because my girlfriend thought it would make me more mature and gaining a Bachelor's degree was so common in the cities back then (2005-2008). But in my 3 years college I probably went less than 3 weeks (mostly from musical activities). So, I think I can call myself, College dropout. And I think my story will much explain about the unemployment of Nepal. LOL\n\nI was first introduced to computers back in school in 1996 with DOS based computer games. 1998, Typing Tutor software well known as \"TT\" came in my life. And by 1999, I was paying Rs.10 per minute to taste internet in the first ever cybercafe in our town. I was already thinking, this is going to change the way do we everything in future. And I was dreaming to make a career in computing. But then their was that common Nepalese society. \n\n2000, I passed my 10th grade and wanted to go to India to study Computing. My neighbors were warning my parents that computers might mess up my academics since they used to see me go to cybercafes so much. So, the worst happened, I was told \"NO\" to computer studies in India. My parents made me join high school (+2) with Business and Management as my majors and I had no choice. I really enjoyed those years but with friends and not with books. Anything beside computers were out of my interest. So, I failed and dropped out. \n\nI think one big problem with Nepalese students is most of them have no clue about what they want to be in future. And a small percentage who do; have parents who either have different opinion or are very much influenced by the society. \n\n\"uh.. your son will mesh up his studies because of computers\" (20 years back)\n\n\"Do you think you can make a good career studying film making? (10 years back)\n\n\"what? farmer? you born in city want to be a farmer?\" (5 years back)\n\n\"what?... is dance even a subject or a career?\" (even now)\n\nYes, while a portion of Nepalese students do know that they want to do and be in life, people around them plays a big role influencing their parents, ultimately making these students study something they are not interested in. Unless this changes, forget out the newer generation doing something out of the box like the western countries, expect more unemployment in future.\n\nAnd then there's a bigger portion of students who have no clue why they are studying what they are studying. This is one major cause of unemployment. People do not do their homework about that they are studying.\n\nWhile in the western world (from what I have found), people have goals on what they want to be, do their research on opportunities in that field, and then join high school, college accordingly. Shame on us that we don't try to teach them in a way they understand about periods, importance of keep them in clean space, giving them time for good rest during such pain. If other households aren't clean enough, they should stay away from that room. Also, during periods, women need more nutrients than normal days. \n\nProblem is, these people have never read the book. Instead, follow those idiotic pundits who are self proclaimed educated ones (which they are not since most of the only recite and don't even understand the proper meaning of what they are reciting. Actually, they are the ones who misinterpreted the proper way of taking care of women during periods to such horrible one. )\n\n\nHere's an extract hindufacts.org:\n\nAngirasa Smriti (Verse 37), for example, advises women to resume their household work only after their monthly periods stop. Similarly, Vashishta Dharmasutra (5.6) says that menstruating women should not indulge in physical exertion, be it household work, or activities like running. During Ambubachi festival in Kamakhya temple in Assam, the temple is closed for three days to give rest to the Goddess, who is believed to be menstruating during that time. And that's what lot of people actually do. Trekking on the mountains is definitely #1. Or, if you are rich you can climb Mt. Everest. LOL. Don't worry even if you aren't physically fit or not well trained. You can still reach the top of the world like many others who were carried by Sherpas on their back. Didn't you know? LOL\n\nBeside that, you can probably go to Thamel, enjoy some good music and get drunk. And may be to the monkey temple.\n\nIf you do more than that, then you are an exception. LOL. Cuz' that's what most people from abroad do.\n\nTo those who have not experienced more in Nepal. Beware there are places you should not go. Definitely not.\n\nThe city of Kathmandu, even though very polluted is actually full of temples all over. Yes, temples in the middle of the city, all over.  And I do not mean those unesco world heritage sites. There are lot more temples around the gallis and chowks all over. Between those temples are vegetable vendors, chatpates, milk tea vendors, lovers spots, youth juctions and more.\n\nBut you shouldn't go there. Cuz' you aren't there for a REAL Nepal right? You are only in Nepal for the moutains. Ain't it?\n\nThat's why I suggest people not to  go to those amazing gallis. Do not try those street foods. Do not drink that milk tea in one of those corners. Do not try that chatpates too. \n\nOr, next time you go to Nepal, try all that and tell me how was your experience. Cuz' that's real Nepal.\n\nGood Luck !\n\n[Photo by me. Shot back in 2015]",
