Parental love is truly selfless, forgiving and unconditional.\n\nThere can be no bigger sin than displaying indifference to one's own parents.\n A son or a daughter should know that they have grown up emulating his/her father's example or advise, often both. \nMany countries have a strong support system for the elderly. In India, as joint families gave way for the nuclear ones, comfort  zone for parents began to crumble. Age is said to be an issue of mind over matter. \n\nThe aged have  tremendous insight to life. \"Its not how old are you\" but \"how are you old\". Men and women consistently  turn over a new leaf; if the natural process is called \"old\", so be it. Viewing old age as a burden, considering parents' well-meant advice as exercise in exasperation, incurable diseases of parents, single  parent especially father -- all this are easy and convenient reasons for the children to abandon their\n parents. \nIf a parent has no reserves to fall back on, the situation is worse. The natural process of aging, and  the attendant physical and psychological alterations, push the elderly to despair. Children are often  ignorant to the disorders of the elders. Senile dementia is one condition that can incapacitate the old, and  an unaware son or daughter may not decipher the gravity of their parents' condition. \n\nTherefore, it is  always important to engage them quite often. It is prudent not to anger one's parents to please others  because its one's own parents who have spent their lives for the sake of an individual, and not the \"others\".  The parents cared for their children when the latter were young. So, it is incumbent upon the latter to care  for the former when they are old. Children should make their parents feel loved when they are still alive, otherwise it may be too late. \n\nImpulsive children fail to ruminate on parents' predicament. It is not that  parents have not understood the problems of their offspring; it is just that they always try to ensure their  children never felt the pain and discomfort they themselves had to undergo in life. A father, or a mother,  does not hesitate to sacrifice his/her own lucrative career for the sake of their child. When the present day parents are busy bringing-up their \"own\" children, can they brush aside all the good things done by  their \"own\" parents?       "body": "Infant swimming is the phenomenon of human babies and toddlers reflexively moving themselves through water and changing their rate of respiration and heart rate in response to being submerged. The slowing of heart rate and breathing is called the bradycardic response.It is not true that babies are born with the ability to swim, though they have reflexes that make it look like they are. Babies are not old enough to hold their breath intentionally or strong enough to keep their head above water.\n\nMost infants, though not all, will reflexively hold their breath when submerged to protect their airway and are able to survive immersion in water for short periods of time. Infants can also be taken to swimming lessons. Although this may be done to reduce their risk of drowning, the effects on drowning risk are not reliable.
