It seems the <em>Daily Telegraph</em> are doing another ‘hit piece’ on me this weekend! My thought crime this time is the blog post from earlier this week where I gave some suggestions for coping with the possible coronavirus pandemic. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nAs I’ve grown older I see that ‘journalists’ are just arch-manipulators of language who push agendas, all while pretending to some sort of impartiality. So, I’ll not be responding to their request for comments. Instead I will explain my position on here where my words cannot be twisted and taken out of context.   \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nI presume that they are going to slyly imply that I’m offering ‘dangerous advice’ and people may be put at risk for following it, rather than the current NHS guidelines.To do this would be deliberately deceitful in my opinion. Please do your own research and If you or your family start experiencing symptoms, please visit your doctor or a walk-in centre.”</em></h3>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nDo I really need to continue with this rebuttal?!  \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nThe Telegraph's position is absurd, they are clearly trying to paint me as some sort of dangerous lunatic offering advice that could put people at risk, despite my own words. That’s how you know that they are practising propaganda and manipulation, and not journalism.   \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nThey also appeal to authority by quoting the NHS. I have two problems with this:\r\n<ol>\r\n <li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since when did The Telegraph like the NHS, aren’t they ideologically against socialised medicine?</li>\r\n <li>The NHS doesn't have a monopoly on truth around health matters. It claims to be 'evidence based', but the evidence is often of poor quality, or they don't collect the evidence that might contradict their narrative.</li>\r\n</ol>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nFor example, I was speaking to someone yesterday who was telling me that the husband of their colleague (with two young children) committed suicide two days after changing his antidepressant medication. The possibility that the drugs could have caused this were not entertained by the doctors, and cause of death was recorded as 'suicide'. This, despite the fact that suicidal thoughts are a known side-effect of the drugs he had just been prescribed.\r\n\r\nSo much for evidence based medicine.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nWhat happened to the tradition in this country of allowing plurality of opinion? This is how progress happens, and how bad ideas are exposed. There has been a really chilling drive within the UK media over these past few years to continually narrow the overton window of acceptable thought on many different subjects. \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nPeople should be VERY suspicious of the pattern of behaviour in the mainstream media that I'm observing. They have decided to ‘go after’ alternative health practitioners such as homeopaths. This will be the FOURTH time in a little over a year that I’m being mentioned negatively in the MSN! Why? Because I am one of the few UK homeopaths who has a social media presence, and who isn’t afraid to talk about the cases I’ve treated. Clearly this is intolerable because my mere existence and the existence of the patients that I’ve treated is a threat to a particular narrative.  \r\n\r\nActual journalism would be publicising my results from the cases that I've treated so far (over 1350 at time of writing) to start a discussion in this country. Something incredible is happening, and rather than report on it, the MSN just wants to shut it down. Coronavirus may turn out to be a massively overhyped scare (the mainstream media are good at that), but just in case it isn’t, I offer you my<strong> 4 level plan.</strong>  Please share this if you feel it may be useful. \r\n\r\nThe problem with viral pandemics is, conventional medicine doesn’t have particularly effective treatments for them. There are some anti-viral drugs around, but we are not sure how effective they will be against Coronavirus yet. This is where homeopathy and supplements can come in. We have a history of spectacular successes treating epidemics during the 19th century. The story of how this record was suppressed in official records is fascinating in itself, but off-topic for today.  In the 1918 Spanish ‘flu epidemic (death rate up to 100 million people worldwide), the homeopaths had dramatically better treatment outcomes than other doctors, the mortality rates of their patients typically being under 1%. \r\n\r\nThe most common symptoms people have been reporting for Coronavirus are:\r\n<ul>\r\n <li>Low-grade fever (99ºF-102ºF)</li>\r\n <li>Fatigue (malaise) and aching muscles (myalgia)</li>\r\n <li>A less common symptom is a dry cough accompanied by breathlessness.  There have also been some reports of kidneys, liver, and heart being affected. </li>\r\n <li>Certain cases have progressed to pneumonia, and these seem to be where the fatalities are occurring. It’s difficult to establish how many fatalities that have occurred so far, nor the overall mortality rate, as the data reported is wildly inaccurate.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nWithout further ado, here is my <strong>4 level plan</strong> for treating this thing:\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 1</b>: <b>Precautions</b>.\r\n\r\nWear a mask. \r\n\r\nWash your hands frequently. \r\n\r\nIf it comes to your area, consider isolating yourself in your house. \r\n\r\nAvoid sick people, or crowded stuffy areas where people are in close proximity for prolonged periods.\r\n\r\nThis is the advice being given by governments and doctors at the moment \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 2</b>: <b>Boost your Immune System</b>\r\n\r\nThere are many ways to approach this, I’m suggesting Colloidal Silver and Vitamin D spray.\r\n\r\n<b>Vitamin D spray</b>. I use this product and spray once-a-day into my mouth to maintain my Vitamin D levels. Most people are Vit D deficient, especially during the winter in colder countries, and especially if they have brown or black skin. Adequate vitamin D levels are required for a healthy immune system. \r\n\r\n<a href=\"https://alanfreestone.com/coronavirus-treatment-with-homeopathy/screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1-26-13-pm/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12268\"><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12268\" src=\"https://alanfreestone.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1.26.13-PM-177x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"177\" height=\"300\" /><br/></a>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Colloidal Silver.</b> This is one of these amazing substances that’s been used for thousands of years and that is heavily censored and regulated against because it’s a threat to pharma profits, therefore I claim no efficacy for this product. Spray 2 to 3 times a day into your mouth if you’ve been exposed, or are experiencing symptoms. \r\n\r\nFollow warnings about not using this product for prolonged periods, excessive use can cause something called argyria, which is a permanent (though harmless) bluish-grey discolouration of skin caused by excessive silver build up. However this is only a problem if taking huge amounts for years. This is where the expression ‘blue bloods’ comes from when describing aristocrats, as In the past some of them suffered from this condition. Here’s a picture of the spray that I use:\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https://alanfreestone.com/coronavirus-treatment-with-homeopathy/screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1-25-46-pm/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12269\"><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12269\" src=\"https://alanfreestone.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1.25.46-PM-167x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"167\" height=\"300\" /><br/></a>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 3</b>:  <b>Genus Epidemicus &amp; Homeoprophylaxis</b>\r\n\r\n<b>Genus Epidemicus</b>\r\n\r\nNow we get to the big words...and homeopathy! \r\n\r\n<b>Genus Epidemicus</b>: When treating the many epidemics that raged through Europe in the 19th century, homeopathic doctors noticed that most people infected in a particular epidemic displayed similar symptoms. The next year there might be another outbreak, and the typical symptom picture would have changed. If we can find a remedy that fits the typical symptom picture of Coronavirus 2020, then this would be the Genus Epidemicus and will be beneficial in a great many cases at either preventing symptoms entirely, or dramatically reducing the duration and severity of the infection. According to research by some Indian homeopaths, the remedy <i>Arsenicum Album</i> seems most closely matched to the symptoms people have been displaying.  How to use it: Take Arsenicum Album 200c once a week during period of outbreak, if symptoms start: take twice a day for 3 or 4 days, but stop on improvement of symptoms.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Homeoprophylaxis</b>\r\n\r\nThis is using a homeopathic remedy like a vaccine, so we can use a nosode made from coronavirus to help inoculate ourselves against the virus. Recommendation: During outbreak, take 1 pill of the nosode 30c once a week. If you start showing symptoms, increase this to 3 times a week. If the nosode isn’t available, use the remedy <b>Influenzinum</b> in its stead. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nSo, you’d take the Genus Epidemicus remedy AND the Homeoprophylaxis remedy during each week, though separate them by at least 30 minutes. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 4</b>: <b>Individualised Homeopathic Treatment</b>\r\n\r\nIf you start experiencing symptoms, then Ideally you would consult a homeopath and they would prescribe you a suitable remedy. However, if cases increase dramatically you may not have this option, so I’m including a short list of the remedies most likely to help. Pick the indicated remedy that most closely matches the symptoms and give a 200c dose 3-times-a-day for 3 days, or until symptoms improve. If the remedies help temporarily, but then symptoms relapse, then repeat another 3 days.   \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Gelsemium</b> (most likely remedy)\r\n\r\nFatigue, prostration, dizziness, drowsiness, fever, aching muscles, muscular weakness. Dry cough, sore chest.  \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Baptisia</i></b>\r\n\r\nOngoing Low grade fever. Prostration, muscular soreness. Offensive stools, breath, urine, sweat. Feeling of constriction of chest.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Eupatorium-Perfoliatum</i></b>\r\n\r\nPains in muscles and bones. Can even feel like the bones may break. Throbbing headache. Thirsty. Chest sore, chronic loose cough. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Ferrum Phosphorica</i></b>\r\n\r\nFor a persistent dry cough\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Phosphorus</i></b>\r\n\r\nFor symptoms threatening to turn into pneumonia\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>What I'm doing:</strong> I've only started levels 1 and 2 so far. If needed I'll move on to level 3 and 4.\r\n\r\n<strong>Note:</strong> You can be doing all 4 levels of this plan at the same time. There are some anti-viral drugs around, but we are not sure how effective they will be against Coronavirus yet. This is where homeopathy and supplements can come in. We have a history of spectacular successes treating epidemics during the 19th century. The story of how this record was suppressed in official records is fascinating in itself, but off-topic for today.  In the 1918 Spanish ‘flu epidemic (death rate up to 100 million people worldwide), the homeopaths had dramatically better treatment outcomes than other doctors, the mortality rates of their patients typically being under 1%. \r\n\r\nThe most common symptoms people have been reporting for Coronavirus are:\r\n<ul>\r\n <li>Low-grade fever (99ºF-102ºF)</li>\r\n <li>Fatigue (malaise) and aching muscles (myalgia)</li>\r\n <li>A less common symptom is a dry cough accompanied by breathlessness.  There have also been some reports of kidneys, liver, and heart being affected. </li>\r\n <li>Certain cases have progressed to pneumonia, and these seem to be where the fatalities are occurring. It’s difficult to establish how many fatalities that have occurred so far, nor the overall mortality rate, as the data reported is wildly inaccurate.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nWithout further ado, here is my <strong>4 level plan</strong> for treating this thing:\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 1</b>: <b>Precautions</b>.\r\n\r\nWear a mask. \r\n\r\nWash your hands frequently. \r\n\r\nIf it comes to your area, consider isolating yourself in your house. \r\n\r\nAvoid sick people, or crowded stuffy areas where people are in close proximity for prolonged periods.\r\n\r\nThis is the advice being given by governments and doctors at the moment \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 2</b>: <b>Boost your Immune System</b>\r\n\r\nThere are many ways to approach this, I’m suggesting Colloidal Silver and Vitamin D spray.\r\n\r\n<b>Vitamin D spray</b>. I use this product and spray once-a-day into my mouth to maintain my Vitamin D levels. Most people are Vit D deficient, especially during the winter in colder countries, and especially if they have brown or black skin. Adequate vitamin D levels are required for a healthy immune system. \r\n\r\n<a href=\"https://alanfreestone.com/coronavirus-treatment-with-homeopathy/screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1-26-13-pm/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12268\"><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12268\" src=\"https://alanfreestone.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1.26.13-PM-177x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"177\" height=\"300\" /><br/></a>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Colloidal Silver.</b> This is one of these amazing substances that’s been used for thousands of years and that is heavily censored and regulated against because it’s a threat to pharma profits, therefore I claim no efficacy for this product. The next year there might be another outbreak, and the typical symptom picture would have changed. If we can find a remedy that fits the typical symptom picture of Coronavirus 2020, then this would be the Genus Epidemicus and will be beneficial in a great many cases at either preventing symptoms entirely, or dramatically reducing the duration and severity of the infection. According to research by some Indian homeopaths, the remedy <i>Arsenicum Album</i> seems most closely matched to the symptoms people have been displaying.  How to use it: Take Arsenicum Album 200c once a week during period of outbreak, if symptoms start: take twice a day for 3 or 4 days, but stop on improvement of symptoms.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Homeoprophylaxis</b>\r\n\r\nThis is using a homeopathic remedy like a vaccine, so we can use a nosode made from coronavirus to help inoculate ourselves against the virus. Recommendation: During outbreak, take 1 pill of the nosode 30c once a week. If you start showing symptoms, increase this to 3 times a week. If the nosode isn’t available, use the remedy <b>Influenzinum</b> in its stead. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nSo, you’d take the Genus Epidemicus remedy AND the Homeoprophylaxis remedy during each week, though separate them by at least 30 minutes. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 4</b>: <b>Individualised Homeopathic Treatment</b>\r\n\r\nIf you start experiencing symptoms, then Ideally you would consult a homeopath and they would prescribe you a suitable remedy. However, if cases increase dramatically you may not have this option, so I’m including a short list of the remedies most likely to help. Pick the indicated remedy that most closely matches the symptoms and give a 200c dose 3-times-a-day for 3 days, or until symptoms improve. This is intended to build on the existing advice given by the various governments, WHO etc. This is not intended as a replacement for the conventional advice, but rather as supplementary steps to take to minimise your risk. Coronavirus may turn out to be a massively overhyped scare (the mainstream media are good at that), but just in case it isn’t, I offer you my<strong> 4 level plan.</strong> \r\n\r\nThe problem with viral pandemics is, conventional medicine doesn’t have particularly effective treatments for them. There are some anti-viral drugs around, but we are not sure how effective they will be against Coronavirus yet. This is where homeopathy and supplements can come in. We have a history of spectacular successes treating epidemics during the 19th century. The story of how this record was suppressed in official records is fascinating in itself, but off-topic for today.  In the 1918 Spanish ‘flu epidemic (death rate up to 100 million people worldwide), the homeopaths had dramatically better treatment outcomes than other doctors, the mortality rates of their patients typically being under 1%. \r\n\r\nThe most common symptoms people have been reporting for Coronavirus are:\r\n<ul>\r\n <li>Low-grade fever (99ºF-102ºF)</li>\r\n <li>Fatigue (malaise) and aching muscles (myalgia)</li>\r\n <li>A less common symptom is a dry cough accompanied by breathlessness.  There have also been some reports of kidneys, liver, and heart being affected. </li>\r\n <li>Certain cases have progressed to pneumonia, and these seem to be where the fatalities are occurring. It’s difficult to establish how many fatalities that have occurred so far, nor the overall mortality rate, as the data reported is wildly inaccurate.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nWithout further ado, here is my <strong>4 level plan</strong> for treating this thing:\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 1</b>: <b>Precautions</b>.\r\n\r\nWear a mask. \r\n\r\nWash your hands frequently. \r\n\r\nIf it comes to your area, consider isolating yourself in your house. \r\n\r\nAvoid sick people, or crowded stuffy areas where people are in close proximity for prolonged periods.\r\n\r\nThis is the advice being given by governments and doctors at the moment \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 2</b>: <b>Boost your Immune System</b>\r\n\r\nThere are many ways to approach this, I’m suggesting Colloidal Silver and Vitamin D spray.\r\n\r\n<b>Vitamin D spray</b>. I use this product and spray once-a-day into my mouth to maintain my Vitamin D levels. Most people are Vit D deficient, especially during the winter in colder countries, and especially if they have brown or black skin. Adequate vitamin D levels are required for a healthy immune system. \r\n\r\n<a href=\"https://alanfreestone.com/?attachment_id=12268\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12268\"><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12268\" src=\"https://alanfreestone.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1.26.13-PM-177x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"177\" height=\"300\" /><br/></a>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Colloidal Silver.</b> This is one of these amazing substances that’s been used for thousands of years and that is heavily censored and regulated against because it’s a threat to pharma profits, therefore I claim no efficacy for this product. Spray 2 to 3 times a day into your mouth if you’ve been exposed, or are experiencing symptoms. \r\n\r\nFollow warnings about not using this product for prolonged periods, excessive use can cause something called argyria, which is a permanent (though harmless) bluish-grey discolouration of skin caused by excessive silver build up. However this is only a problem if taking huge amounts for years. This is where the expression ‘blue bloods’ comes from when describing aristocrats, as In the past some of them suffered from this condition. Here’s a picture of a the spray that I use:\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https://alanfreestone.com/?attachment_id=12269\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-12269\"><img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-12269\" src=\"https://alanfreestone.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Screenshot-2020-02-25-at-1.25.46-PM-167x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"167\" height=\"300\" /><br/></a>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 3</b>:  <b>Genus Epidemicus &amp; Homeoprophyllaxis</b>\r\n\r\n<b>Genus Epidemicus</b>\r\n\r\nNow we get to the big words...and homeopathy! \r\n\r\n<b>Genus Epidemicus</b>: When treating the many epidemics that raged through Europe in the 19th century, homeopathic doctors noticed that most people infected in a particular epidemic displayed similar symptoms. The next year there might be another outbreak, and the typical symptom picture would have changed. If we can find a remedy that fits the typical symptom picture of Coronavirus 2020, then this would be the Genus Epidemicus and will be beneficial in a great many cases at either preventing symptoms entirely, or dramatically reducing the duration and severity of the infection. According to research by some Indian homeopaths, the remedy <i>Arsenicum Album</i> seems most closely matched to the symptoms people have been displaying.  How to use it: Take Arsenicum Album 200c once a week during period of outbreak, if symptoms start: take twice a day for 3 or 4 days, but stop on improvement of symptoms.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Homeoprophylaxis</b>\r\n\r\nThis is using a homeopathic remedy like a vaccine, so we can use a nosode made from coronavirus to help inoculate ourselves against the virus. Recommendation: During outbreak, take 1 pill of the nosode 30c once a week. If you start showing symptoms, increase this to 3 times a week. If the nosode isn’t available, use the remedy <b>Influenzinum</b> in its stead. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\nSo, you’d take the Genus Epidemicus remedy AND the Homeoprophylaxis remedy during each week, though separate them by at least 30 minutes. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Level 4</b>: <b>Individualised Homeopathic Treatment</b>\r\n\r\nIf you start experiencing symptoms, then Ideally you would consult a homeopath and they would prescribe you a suitable remedy. However, if cases increase dramatically you may not have this option, so I’m including a short list of the remedies most likely to help. Pick the indicated remedy that most closely matches the symptoms and give a 200c dose 3-times-a-day for 3 days, or until symptoms improve. If the remedies help temporarily, but then symptoms relapse, then repeat another 3 days.   \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b>Gelsemium</b> (most likely remedy)\r\n\r\nFatigue, prostration, dizziness, drowsiness, fever, aching muscles, muscular weakness. Dry cough, sore chest.  \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Baptisia</i></b>\r\n\r\nOngoing Low grade fever. Prostration, muscular soreness. Offensive stools, breath, urine, sweat. Feeling of constriction of chest.\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Eupatorium-Perfoliatum</i></b>\r\n\r\nPains in muscles and bones. Can even feel like the bones may break. Throbbing headache. Thirsty. Chest sore, chronic loose cough. \r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Ferrum Phosphorica</i></b>\r\n\r\nFor a persistent dry cough\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<b><i>Phosphorus</i></b>\r\n\r\nFor symptoms threatening to turn into pneumonia\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<strong>What I'm doing:</strong> I've only started levels 1 and 2 so far. If needed I'll move on to level 3 and 4.\r\n\r\n<strong>Note:</strong> You can be doing all 4 levels of this plan at the same time.
