      "body": "## <center> ACHIEVEMENT 4</center>\n<div class=text-justify> \nThe journey so far has been great and wonderful although at a very slow pace. Am now through with achievement task 1, 2 and 3 and now about to commence the achievement 4. \n\nIn this achievement task, I am to use the basic markdown on steemit to edit my post. So let us start!! \n\nIn this achievement task, I would like to talk about one of the major problems that the world faces today as a result of civilization and industrialization. One would never talk about the problems of the world and would leave the problem that I would like to discuss. \n\nIn fact, it is something all economies are battling with as they advance. As humans, apart from procreation, one of our greatest responsibility is to take good care of God's creations. But as a result of irresponsibility, human beings have neglected their responsibility of taking good care of their surroundings. But, in the end, this problem accounts for most of the problems that human beings are facing right now. \n\nAt this point I hope it is quite obvious that, am not talking about any things other than the Almighty:\n**<div class=text-center>ENVIRONMENTAL DEGRADATION.</div>** \n\nThis is not a new thing to all of us but decided to talk about it since most people still engage in this shameful act. As I said this might not be the first time that you are hearing this but I wrote this masterpiece as a reminder and as a wake-up call to all of us; including those involving themselves in it and those who do not. \n\nIn this achievement, I would talk about the meaning of environmental degradation, its causes, and how it affects our daily lives.\n\nEnvironmental degradation can be termed as  \" A process through which the natural environment is compromised in some way, reducing biological diversity and the general health of the environment.&quot; <sup><a href=\"https://www.eionet.europa.eu/gemet/en/concept/15154\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"This link will take you away from steemit.com\">Source</a></sup></p>\n</blockquote>\n\n\n\nAs this definition implies, it means, any act of causing harm to the natural environment. Sometimes this is done intentionally or unintentionally and at the end leaving the environment at the mercy of the harsh conditions which later leads to ill health and extinction in several species. \n\nEnvironmental degradation can be caused naturally and it can also be caused by humans. In the field of academia,  plagiarism can lead students to get zero marks in their work or expulsion from school. Also, there are several known instances where workers were forced from their institutions for not producing original content or plagiarising. \n\nPlagiarism can take different forms and this hitherto, made it very difficult to figure out. With the help of advanced programs, applications and websites, plagiarism can now be checked within a few minutes.  Sometimes, the act of plagiarising can be unintentional but one should always remember that the law will not pardon you for your ignorance. So the best thing is to try as much as you can to avoid it.\n\nThe best way to avoid plagiarism is to often cite your work to the original research you go your information from or source.       "body": "Hello, Steemians I just posted my achievement 1 so, I decided to move to the next achievement that’s achievement 2.\n \nI hope you all enjoy it!!! \n\nSteem, as a blockchain-based and social media website, awards its users with the cryptocurrency Steem. Therefore every user of the steem blockchain and services should at least know something about their security online and their security on the Steemit network as well.\n\nSecurity is simply the freedom from risk or danger. Security is something that most people take for granted especially when they are online. But it can cause a lot of damages to the individual. It is therefore good for everybody to have at least a little knowledge about how to protect their accounts on the internet that’s is precisely through the use of passwords. \nPasswords are used to protect the confidentiality of data, promote the availability of data for authorized use, and also preserve the integrity of data. \nSteemit in order to make sure that all its members are secure has made a security system that makes it very difficult for other persons to have unauthorized access to someone’s account by producing passwords to individuals who join the Steemit Community. The members of Steemit are supposed to use their password anytime they want to access their account.\n\nQuestion 1\nHave you retrieved all your keys on steemit?\nYes, I have received all my keys on Steemit. \n\nQuestion2\nDo you know each of these key functions and restrictions?\n\nEvery Steemian basically has five passwords or keys to protect their account. They are; the posting key, active key, owner key, memo key, and master key. Their functions are as follows: \nPosting key: The posting key is what is mostly used for logging into one’s Steemit account. This key allows you to comment, edit, vote, resteem, follow, and mute other Steemit accounts. Steemit has also provided a limited posting key to prevent damage that can occur should in case an account key is being compromised. \n\nActive key: The active key is used when placing a market order, transferring funds to another account, updating your account profile details, converting Steem Dollars, voting for witness, and to power up or power down a transaction. The active key is simply used when managing sensitive tasks.  \n\nOwner key: The Owner key is another important key that helps to Reset the Owner key, Active keys, and Posting keys. It can change any key of the account including itself. It is best to store this key offline. Also, it is only used to recover a compromised account.\n\nMemo key: The memo key is a subkey that is used when encrypting and decrypting memos when transferring funds.\n  \nMaster key: It is an undisputed fact that the master key is also one of the most important keys and the name even implies. This key is the master of the user’s account. It is also the first key given to the user to derive all the keys for the account. \n\nQuestion 3\nHow do you plan to keep your master password?\n\nI think the best way to keep my master password is to print it out and keep the hard copies in a safer place. This will secure it from hard drive failures and other calamities that can happen to my personal computer. Also, the Master key can be kept in an external hard drive or flash drive. But primarily all my Steem keys are also kept in my Google Account. I chose my Google Account because it is much secured and this makes it difficult to be compromised. \n\nQuestion 4\nDo you know how to transfer your steem token to another steem user account?\n\nYes, I know how to transfer my Steem token to another Steem user account. \n\nThe steps below show how to transfer my Steem to another Steem user account. \n1.\tRight-click on the avatar icon on the right corner of your steem account to show a drop-down menu. \n2.\tIn the drop-down menu click on Wallet to send you to your Steem wallet. \n3.\tIn your Steemit wallet, click on Steem to the right side of your Steem. This will show a drop-down box.\n4.\t In the drop-down box that appears click on transfer.\n5.\tA new menu will appear. In that menu, type in the username of the account that you would want to send the token to and also type the amount you would want to send to that account. \n6.\tType the memo key that would be used to encrypt and decrypt the transaction. \n7.\tFinally click on next and confirm the transaction.
