| body | https://steemitimages.com/0x0/https://www.cryptostache.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/cryptocurrency-glossary-terms-terminology-bitcoin.jpg Here are some terms you’ll need to know: 1. POW - Proof of Work is a way to validate transactions. It prevents an attack on the network by making mining calculations difficult and preventing multiple fake requests. It takes a long time for miners to calculate the block equations, but then they are rewarded when solving the block. 2. POS - Proof of Stake is a different way to validate transactions. The block is chosen and mined based on how much wealth it has or "stake". When it is processed there is no reward, but the "foragers" (similar to miners) take the transaction fee instead. 3. HODL - Hold On for Dear Life is an acronym, but it really started as kind of an accident! According to crypto legend it was a miss spelling on a post on the Bitcointalk.org forums. Basically the practice of holding on to your coins and not selling. 4. Fiat - This term is used a lot to set the two worlds of cryptocurrency and traditional currency apart. Traditional currencies like USD, Euro, Yen, etc are what you would call "Fiat" currency. Fiat money is physical currency that a government has declared to be legal tender, but it is not backed by a physical commodity. 5. FOMO - Fear Of Missing Out. People tend to see prices drop or rise quickly or a hot coin or ICO on the market and they don't want to miss out on the opportunity. Resisting the FOMO can be hard, but you must use the force Luke! 6. FUD - Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt. This describes a general disinformation strategy to cause fear among consumers or competition. Emotions tend to drive the market more then anything, don't give in to the FUD side... 7. Altcoin - This is an umbrella term used to refer to every other coin besides Bitcoin. There are thousands of different coins out there, all with their own individual purpose. Ethereum, Litecoin, Dash, & Monero are all examples of Altcoins as they are "alternatives" to Bitcoin. 8. Wallet - A "wallet" in terms of cryptocurrency is a digital place to store your bitcoins. There are MANY different types of wallets. 9. Address - Every wallet has an "address" which is a string of numbers that acts like a bank account number. People can send you cryptocurrency directly to this address. You need different address for each cryptocurrency link Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. 10. Private Key - This is like your top secret password to unlock your wallet. Never share this, it is 100% full access to your cryptocurrency. This private key protects your wallet. 11. Public Key - The public key is mainly used to accept cryptocurrency to your wallet. So if your friend was going to send you 5 BTC (what an amazing friend! Keeper!) then you would give them your Public Key of your wallet to send the BTC to. 12. Blockchain - This is the unchangeable digital ledger where every transaction lives forever. It is the underlying technology of all cryptocurrencies and is (and will continue in a huge way) to change human life as we know it. 13. Block - A block is basically a batch of transactions that is processed and recorded forever on the blockchain. 14. Whitepaper - This is the technical write up that most cryptocurrencies provide to take a deep look into their structure and plans. 15. Decentralised - In the case of cryptocurrencies it is a copy of the blockchain or digital ledger on every device connected to the network. An exact copy of the information is everywhere instead of in a central location like a government or companies servers. 16. Hash Rate - This is the speed of how much computing power is being used to mine a coin on a network. The bigger the hash rate the better. 17. Hard Fork - This is when the code or software that comprises a coin like Bitcoin changes in some significant way, typically for improvements. Bitcoin Cash is a hard fork from Bitcoin as an example. 18. Distributed Ledger - The basis for decentralisation, a distributed ledger is a list of transactions that is cloned on every computer and software that is connected to the network. This ledger is updated in every location, all at once, each time a transaction is made. 19. Node - A node is basically any software or computer that is connected to the Bitcoin's (or other cryptocurrencies) network and maintains a copy of the blockchain. 20. Mining - This is the process of using computer power to process transactions on a blockchain. Miners are rewarded with newly created cryptocurrency for each block they process. 21. Token - A token is similar to and based on cryptocurrency, but it's main function isn't necessarily just transfer of value. Ethereum tokens are a great example of this and extremely popular. ERC-20 tokens are created on top of the Ethereum network and you can read more about that in my article on what is Ethereum. 22. ICO - Initial Coin Offering. This is when a coin first puts their token or currency on the market for people to purchase. I wrote a great introduction to ICO's here. 23. Pump & Dump - This is a method of hyping up a coin by buying and holding and getting others to do the same, only to then "dump" it or sell it off at the highest price. 24. Whale - An investor that controls a large portion or amount of a specific cryptocurrency. This gives them an advantage similar to having the most chips in Texas holdem poker, you can just lean on the market to make waves. 25. Bear/Bearish - Term used to denote that the market is going down. 26. Bull/Bullish - Term used to denote that the market is heading up. 27. Exchange - An online hub for trading cryptocurrencies. Not all exchanges carry each coin. 28. KYC - Know Your Customer. This is an acronym, but also a bank regulation (mostly US) to verify identity of their customers. 29. Satoshi - Bitcoins can be bought and sold in tiny amounts! A Satoshi is the smallest sub-unit of a Bitcoin currently available (0.00000001 BTC). 30. Satoshi Nakamoto - The pseudonym for the mysterious creator of Bitcoin. No one TRULY knows who created Bitcoin, and while there is some speculation out there I don't agree with the moves by some of those thought to be Satoshi so I will not name them here. |

| title | HPB core chain to participate in the Sino-US blockchain summit to explore the new development of the industry! |
| body | http://www.gxn.io/assets/img/hbplogo_mx.png HPB core chain was invited to attend the Sino-US blockchain summit, the project sponsored by the Silicon Valley spy, the quantum chain, deep brain chain co-sponsor, also attended the Litecoin founder Li Kaiwei, lightning network initiator Joseph Poon , NEO founder Da-hong As we all know, China and the United States are the core areas for the development of the global blockchain and the breeding ground for the advanced blockchain technology in the world. China and the United States will use blockchain technology to lead the global development in the future. The summit's participation, HPB core chain transmission will be subversive ideas and hardware technology, the core chain of strong sword combined with hardware and software, the new students very much hope that through this summit grinding, quenching, let More experts give advice and participate in the future development. Blockchain evolution From Bitcoin to Ethereum, people who have experienced 2013 know that massive blockchain industries have been eclipsed during this evolutionary era and have become a permanent star. What is the future direction of the development of blockchain? No one can predict tomorrow's things, but we can predict the future trend of development! First, the chain culture will gradually replace the currency culture The currency culture headed by Bitcoin is intended to challenge the legal status of the French currency and achieve the goal of decentralization. It is a slim but impractical direction. There is only difference but not superiority and inferiority in the centralization and decentralization, Its essence lies in consensus and trust. Do not consider the long history of humanity as eternal. Second, the direction of blockchain evolution is no longer one direction In the past decade we have become accustomed to thinking of problems by substituting this thinking, believing that a certain currency will replace bitcoin and that a certain chain will replace Ethereum, which is the wrong way of thinking. Only through vicissitudes have we found that it has been repeatedly replaced by bits Bitcoin or bitcoin, regardless of technical merits, he stood there; been repeatedly provoked Ethereum, still continue to develop as the blockchain mother. Seeking new ideas, opening up entirely new areas is the fundamental development, you only need to do better than yourself! Third, the development of the blockchain will gradually be localized Blockchain is not an industry, not a field, not a special technology. It is an underlying technology of a future era. He has just changed his thinking and philosophy. Its function and practicability are not as powerful as the Internet, and for a very long period of time Not up to the efficiency and speed of the Internet. Therefore, the development of the blockchain should be in the field of his needs, but the key point is that the authenticity of data, security, confidentiality of the higher industry, the development of the blockchain must first produce changes in the data field Can we serve human life, production and progress more effectively. HPB core chain development just in line with the above three trends: First of all, abandon the darling of the system of making monetary culture and follow the rules and regulations of law and development under the system. Secondly, HPB core chain technology is not entangled in the bottleneck of software optimization, but based on software hardware to achieve a new breakthrough in speed and high concurrency technology, the high-speed application of the block chain to a new level; and HPB core chain will be motivated, without giving up the software and hardware based on the continuous exploration of new directions for development, to create a keep pace with the times, with the global competitiveness of the quality of the main chain; Finally, HPB core chain will be combined with the Banyan network, the first chain of physical data docking and the Internet of Things to achieve two blockchain technology applications, and excellence, at every step. During the summit, HPB core chain planned to hold 1 to 3 block chain salon, one of which is Stanford University, will invite well-known scholars and project participants, hope that the attention and investment core friends to actively participate. |

Do not consider the long history of humanity as eternal.\n\nSecond, the direction of blockchain evolution is no longer one direction\n\nIn the past decade we have become accustomed to thinking of problems by substituting this thinking, believing that a certain currency will replace bitcoin and that a certain chain will replace Ethereum, which is the wrong way of thinking. Only through vicissitudes have we found that it has been repeatedly replaced by bits Bitcoin or bitcoin, regardless of technical merits, he stood there; been repeatedly provoked Ethereum, still continue to develop as the blockchain mother.\n\nSeeking new ideas, opening up entirely new areas is the fundamental development, you only need to do better than yourself!\n\nThird, the development of the blockchain will gradually be localized\n\nBlockchain is not an industry, not a field, not a special technology. It is an underlying technology of a future era. He has just changed his thinking and philosophy. Its function and practicability are not as powerful as the Internet, and for a very long period of time Not up to the efficiency and speed of the Internet.\n\nTherefore, the development of the blockchain should be in the field of his needs, but the key point is that the authenticity of data, security, confidentiality of the higher industry, the development of the blockchain must first produce changes in the data field Can we serve human life, production and progress more effectively. HPB core chain development just in line with the above three trends:\n\nFirst of all, abandon the darling of the system of making monetary culture and follow the rules and regulations of law and development under the system.\n\nSecondly, HPB core chain technology is not entangled in the bottleneck of software optimization, but based on software hardware to achieve a new breakthrough in speed and high concurrency technology, the high-speed application of the block chain to a new level; and HPB core chain will be motivated, without giving up the software and hardware based on the continuous exploration of new directions for development, to create a keep pace with the times, with the global competitiveness of the quality of the main chain;\n\nFinally, HPB core chain will be combined with the Banyan network, the first chain of physical data docking and the Internet of Things to achieve two blockchain technology applications, and excellence, at every step.\n\nDuring the summit, HPB core chain planned to hold 1 to 3 block chain salon, one of which is Stanford University, will invite well-known scholars and project participants, hope that the attention and investment core friends to actively participate.",

| title | How to transfer HPB (High Performance Blockchain) from exchanges to MEW? |
| body | As a part of HPB community, I have observed that many people are asking about how to transfer HPB from Exchange to MEW. Here are the steps to follow. (If you found any difficulty while doing so please comment it out, will reply ASAP) NOTE: * Contact address: 0x38c6A68304cdEfb9BEc48BbFaABA5C5B47818bb2 * The decimal point is 18 digits * 28 million circulating supply, 100 million total supply. Step 1: Login to your exchange and go to wallet/fund/ from where you deposit and withdraw your coins. Step 2: Click on withdraw button. You will see HPB Withdrawal Address text box and Amount text box. Step 3: Provide your MEW public address. Address will look like this (0x3f.....) and provide amount how much you want to withdraw. Then click on send/withdraw/OK. Step 4: Wait for some time while it's transferring your HPB to your MEW. When you check your transaction it will show like something like this (10,000,000,000,00 some extra large no) but don't worry. |

| title | Is The Indian Cryptocurrency Party Over? Exchanges Report Issues With Banks And Payment Gateways |
| body | After Income Tax officials issued notices to over 500K HNIs trading Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in India, it appears that the cryptocurrency exchanges in India are destined to meet the same fate as their Chinese counterparts. It is to be noted that China never banned cryptocurrency exchanges directly; however, created a difficult circumstance by banning ICOs and issuing advisories and circulars (by lower authorities) that led BTCC, ViaBTC and other Chinese exchanges to shut down their exchange operations in Mainland. In a related development in India, Bitcoin traders and their corresponding exchanges are now facing difficulties in digital payment. At times, the transactions are getting delayed by a day or more. One of the Bitcoin traders, Soumya Banerjee said, “I transferred money at 5 AM in the morning and my bank debited the same $780.5 (INR 50K). Even after 13 hours, it’s not there in my Unocoin wallet. It’s really bad.” More or less, Inc42 has received similar complaints from other exchange users too. Among the other issues, speaking to Inc42, another user Lalit Kansal informed that enabling Google authenticator has created big issues for his Koinex wallet. The authenticator has erased his private key, and now, he is unable to access the Bitcoin he bought. The complaint, made on December 23, is yet to be entertained. Last week, Andhra Pradesh-based Bitcoin India, a multi-cryptocurrency exchange and Bitcoin mining platform had reportedly locked out the accounts of some of its cryptocurrency traders. The traders were unable to access their accounts and money for more than a month. So, is it entirely the fault of exchanges? Not exactly. Indian cryptocurrency exchanges have got bigger issues to deal with. In line with the development, Zebpay has sent an update to its Bitcoin traders stating, https://inc42.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Zebpay.jpg Another cryptocurrency exchange Ethx India has sent a similar notice to its users. https://inc42.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/ethx.png Writing “crypto payment” or using any cryptocurrency-related keywords such as Bitcoin, Ripple Ethereum etc in the ‘Remarks’ space appears to have created such payment delays, stated Atulya Bhatt, cofounder BuyUCoin. “As far as bank accounts are concerned, we have not received any call from our banks; however, we are facing issues while transacting through payment gateway.” To know more visit https://inc42.com/buzz/indian-cryptocurrency-exchanges-bitcoin/ |
