As of Dec 2017, Bithumb held $6 billion in user funds, mostly in cryptocurrencies like bitcoin and Ether. Bithumb is not a publicly listed company. Check the fact please. They are mandated to disclose their financial status for its annual revenue exceeded thr regulatory threshold for the disclosure. the peak of btc's 20k bullrun was the CME futures contracts launching The NYSE is working on a bitcoin exchange need I say more? So you are saying there will be something else to short the living crap out of btc? Awesome! LolDepends what you want to say.. Are you ready to play this game with more proffesional crooks? | title | That our currency is the units of thought for an intelligence we don't understand? |
| body | Bitcoin is the glitch in the matrix that not even the agents or the architect can stop. Do you ever wonder if BTC miners are just doing all the processing for an emerging AI? That our currency is the units of thought for an intelligence we don't understand? So most don't understand consciousnesses, let alone how it could emerge in the wild from distrusted systems interacting with one another. I can tell you that bitcoin will continue to evolve more and more each year. A related thought, AI can learn real ethics and morals by programming in profit motive via bitcoin. I think it's the natural form of money. Mathematics is gods language, his intention was for us to use btc as money. A true divine gift from the creator of this multiverse. A glitch yes. But time will tell if those who have been red pilled can effectively network together in a global effort to create and protect a new Zion/way of life. It’s called block chain because everyone that uses it will be chained to a block and become slaves |

| title | Bitcoin transaction will scale and be efficient |
| body | bitcoin energy usage actually driving development of more green power sources. Also, surplus green energy already being produced (such as excess solar and wind) is often wasted or else sold at a loss otherwise. You're not thinking of all the related industries and resources traditional money touches compared to Bitcoin. Mining race is a ridiculous energy consumption but with 2nd layer scaling solutions such as @lightning, Bitcoin transaction will scale and be efficient. Fourth, the title alone makes the assumption that the power is being wasted on bitcoin when it could be used elsewhere. That naively assumes its trivial to transport energy to any point in the world where it is needed. It is not the case. Sorry, no. For people investing in the space, the concern is rectifying a monetary system in which 90% of the world has the value of their wages reduced to prop up a crazy credit system. If we succeed, this is nothing compared to the carbon created by the system as is. the assertion in the containing tweet that "One Bitcoin transaction uses as much energy as a single U.S. household consumes in three weeks" is classic scaremongering. They literally don't. To reach the transaction volume of JUST the Visa network Bitcoin would need a Dyson sphere around the sun. Visa is old and rickety and it still trashes Bitcoin on every possible level: Transaction volume Reliability Consumer protection BTC is bad tech. |

| title | why don’t you say bitconnect is the real bitcoin instead |
| body | Can't you just highlight BCH advantages vs BTC? This game of attacking #BTC and the amount of confusion that this generating in new users is not worth it. BTC and #BCH are two different currencies that are living in the cryptomarket If one entity (or a few) runs all of the nodes as well as the mining what power would the users have against corruption? bcash will always be the weirdo that pretends to be something it is not, continuously trying to prove it's worth and hoping the world will pay some attention to it. Poor thing. "BCH is the real Bitcoin" you continue to say??? any person with any ounce of logic in their brain would just sit here and laugh at this xD Lol. If you honestly think BTC will ever reach $0, let alone $6k again, you will be in for a rude awakening. I would encourage you to put your money where your mouth is. Everyone has such short term memories |

| title | That logic is flawed on so many levels. |
| body | Interesting perspective. Most of my issues with BCH derived from the evangelism of Ver et cabal, good to see folks who support it for what it is and dont make claims that cause end user confusion. Minority Fork in competition - I like that. Thank you for the refreshing viewpoint. Bitcoin is ideal as a specultive asset: ● Scarcity value, but no fundamental value. ● Compelling "new era" narrative: The borderless currency that dispenses with central banks. ● Significant complexity. That it inflated into a huge bubble can hardly come as a surprise. When your narrative bubble pops you’ll see bitcoin is the pin. Fundamentally it works as it has for 9 years. Buy one and you may have a chance in the new era. Nothing last forever. Bitcoin/crypto newbies say this all the time b/c they are ignorant to the fact that bitcoin goes out to 8 decimal places. So 0.00000001 BCH (called a Satoshi) is worth $0.00008 at $8000/BCH. The total supply in Satoshi's is 2,100 trillion or 2.1 quadrillion. Plenty to go around. I recall the same logic with baseball cards and beanie babies. How did that turn out? In other words what you are saying is that they lack intrinsic value so you are resorting to hoping for a supply and demand imbalance that at minimum lasts long enough for you to sell. |

| body | You are right that any crypto threatens banks, it undermines everything that they put in place in order to guarantee that power is in the hands of the chosen few. We do have to fight for our basic right to commerce. We have a chance to change how wealth is distributed. Crypto puts everyone on a level playing field, this is not what big money wants. They think they are above us and that they have the right to judge who has wealth and who doesn't. It is hard to win at a game that is rigged, but with crypto, we have a chance to rise in power as a people the way it was intended to be. We the people, not we the banks. Welcome to the revolution. | title | Did internet challenge the authority of the state? |
| body | Did internet challenge the authority of the state? You just contradicted yourself; if internet threatened the buss that control the state then how the buss still control the state? Challenged imply threatening. Businesses that were threatened lobbied to change government policies. Bitcoin is threatening banks and so they will try to force government to kill it. Get the logic here? Perfect analogy. Nope. It challenges a states Authority to control its currency. NO STATE WOULD LET THAT HAPPEN. On the contrary Internet had productivity gains w/o challenging the state. So the internet and bitcoin (as a ccy) are incomparable. You don't think the state tried to control the media? Internet changed that and therefore it indirectly challenged the state's authority. The previous point was valid. The media fought hard against open journalism, because it threatened their business model. 100+ countries have adopted a wait and see approach for Bitcoin rather than banning it. If your State doesn't value your basic right to commerce, you fight it. |

Businesses that were threatened lobbied to change government policies. Bitcoin is threatening banks and so they will try to force government to kill it. Get the logic here? Perfect analogy.\n\nNope. It challenges a states Authority to control its currency. NO STATE WOULD LET THAT HAPPEN. On the contrary Internet had productivity gains w/o challenging the state. So the internet and bitcoin (as a ccy) are incomparable.\n\nYou don't think the state tried to control the media? Internet changed that and therefore it indirectly challenged the state's authority.\n\nThe previous point was valid. The media fought hard against open journalism, because it threatened their business model. 100+ countries have adopted a wait and see approach for Bitcoin rather than banning it. If your State doesn't value your basic right to commerce, you fight it.",

Those with skin in the game, or those who have ETH and not bitcoin... The more "Blockchain, but without a native token" pitches I hear, the more Bitcoin Maximalist I become. I feel the same about "Blockchain, but without bitcoin as the native token" alt pitches. My personal idea will never scale, but it's just a mempool with no blockchain or token. PoW to prevent spam. | body | $BTC #Bitcoin - daily RSI breaking through resistance line...however the day is not over yet, lets see if it can close above the line on the daily close in 7hrs from now... I think it's necessary to examine the link between cryptography and cryptocurrency more closely. Implementing a central bank of the internet is a political project. But it produced a huge, radical revival in general cryptography. Situation would be like that..RBI restrict banks to purchase Bitcoin and other VC..Launch its own Crypto..people transfer VC to Binace..Own Crypto will list in Binance..Other Crypto converts to it..transfer to Indian Exchange..Liquidate to Fiat I wish i bought bitcoin at $6,000... Well here's the chance but you no longer want to buy because you truly did not mean to say that when bitcoin was $19,000. What you meant to say was, i wish i can have more money without having to do anything and without risks. |

So more than 1 mil USD and we can probably figure something up to 50 mil USD. Most take 15 % commission -We do it cheaper 15% commission, on both sides of the trade? Wow!! Is it lowered at all for larger trades (a discount for say, $5 or $10 million)? The big boys dumped a small amount in order dor@the price to drop and now want back in at a much lower price I’m primarily seeing new buyers! But I do know several whales that sold around $20k so they could be rebuying (though I’m not aware of them doing so.) Indeed, OTC markets are very very active these days. Nobody wants to use Bitcoin exchanges anymore unless they really need to. |

| body | #BCash is still sitting at 10% the value of actual, real #bitcoin I care about people who hold, because they are going to loose money :( Considering the price of admission was 0$, I fail to see how that makes sense People who are new to market, and with FUCKING SCAM SHITS like you bought them when it was way higher than current price. Im confient in about all the coins in top 20 will go back up, just not Btrash, that is what concerns me. #Bcash really messed up on this one. Using dirty, underhand tactics to move newcomers to their coin rather than real #bitcoin. They deserve all they get! People have to be really careful of who’s a Bcash person pretending to be Bitcoin If there was ever a sign that crypto asset values are not rational, it is this. Also $ETC, and $DOGE. | body | Well put. The third para holds a lot of merit. It truly is a double edged sword for them. They are becoming extinct and they know it. On the other hand to move from current position they need a radical revision and they kind of have no choice but to hold lesser power in the next system upgrade. Smart people should act now so that they can deal from a position of strength in the future. |
