titleHOW A BLIND FALLS IN LOVE
body![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbx3CguFRGdq8sGm8FdBnGg7QD7hTDMHajDVsPmFT1HaL/image.png) HOW A BLIND FALLS IN LOVE Some years ago, in a lovely and dreaminess environment, I imagined that I was walking in the clouds holding hands with that girl with eyes as blue as the sky, golden hair, fair and delicate complexion who caught my attention and who I could compare with all the beauty of divine creation, since I wouldn’t find a flower, a rose, a star prettier than that girl. In such dreaminess environment, I remembered my born-blind friend Miguel, and then a question sprang to mind: how can a born-blind man fall in love? He does not see shapes or colours. How does Miguel fall in love with life and with a woman he cannot see? He has to feel like me with a deep feeling, excited with love and more in his case since he is an artist and a musician. Then I called Miguel and based on our long friendship and confidence, I asked him to write me an explanation about how a born-blind person falls in love. Two days after, I received his letter: ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmV5ukQKWge7HPB6gjwjTR6iZ9zoXXM8y1nyEtzBXPqqL9/image.png) WHY DO WE FALL IN LOVE? If you ever fell in love with a singer because his songs; with a writer because his books; with a poet because his poetry or with someone who contact you at the Internet, this message is for you. As a great sage said: “Love starts with a kindness spark, it is materialized with the love force and it is condensed in devotion” What a quite right assertion this sage made. Being in the privacy of my room, frankly talking to myself, I asked myself: As a blind man, how can I fall in love? What do I like from other person? What does it appeal to me? Then I reminded all the times I fell in love, all the times someone liked me. I must to confess it was not easy to find an answer to my question. As the poet said: “I do not why I fell in love with you, if I even didn’t know you, if I didn’t know how you were”… I thought and sought details in each of them and found a lot of beautiful, lovely, fascinating, even incomparable things; as her tone of voice, her perfume, her smile, the cadence of her words, a sigh, a chuckle, her treatment to others, even the majestic silence of her presence and all of those beautiful things that make me repeat to myself the same question again and again; all of this should have something in common. Just like, how do I know it’s a sunny day? because I feel the warmth in my skin. I can imagine the beauty of a rose through its smell; I imagine the colours and beauty of the birds trough their sing; and in the same way I can imagine rain, sea, landscape, etc. If all of these has common After a long search, I reminded an old adage that says: “our eyes are the mirror of our soul”. However, from my personal experience I believe that the real soul mirror is our heart because the deepest and hidden feelings of our soul are reflected there. We feel and see our loved ones with the eyes of our heart, the call of love is felt right there, it does not matter how far our love is, it does not matter how the person is. In our heart is reflected and felt the affection and love that flow between two souls which seek each other. Love starts with the affection then, everything comes, glances, winks, blown kisses, etc and if we are blind, all the above quoted things will come. All of the above makes me conclude that all the human beings fall in love in the same way and for the same reason, “affection”, even though all the remaining things change, the person, the scenario, etc. Then, it is the affection, the kindness is the common reason how we, the human beings, fall in love… Miguel A. Duran ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTqVXLjaBHstyBYcYiKMRMj96FBuBnoJ5pr1TGX2ewNsq/image.png) [Do you believe in love at first sight?] This cartoon, with some black humor, makes me remind some circumstance related to blind people love. I entered in metro station in Caracas, Hoyada. It was Sunday so the wagon was not full and the passengers could see each other. I observed that when we arrived to the next station a nice lady entered in the wagon. Behind her an unattractive man came, sat next to her and held her hand. I said to myself: what an ugly man with such beautiful girlfriend, the girl should be blind but, on the contrary, the girl was not blind, she even did not use glasses. As we were following our journey, I observed how that man treated her with kindness and respect and then I understood the beauty of that man and the fact that the lady had a better sight than me because she does not use her physical eyes but her sight was deepest, she could see his heart. When I got off at the next stop, I found the man nice and handsome, I saw a beautiful couple, I didn’t see an odd couple when I saw with my physical eyes. They saw each other with the heart.

titleWhen Fire Burns Water
body![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbyT8W8owBrp7nYdo5tUEF9NQLoJjxEcLkXGraYSBwh6V/image.png) Atomic tests between the possible causes of the hurricanes and earthquakes. The more than 2000 atomic tests carried out by some countries should be included as causes of hurricanes and the awakening of the volcanoes. Speculative paper inspired on a friend’s dream (year 2000 new millennium) Once again there is a conflict between elements: Fire burns water. Sleeping volcanoes shall awake and hurricanes and storms shall be generated as a result of the atomic blasts. When it was the gloom of the beginning, this planet called Earth was only mineral; the sole expression of another element like fire was subtly appreciated by the occurrence of the warm in the tridimensional world. Then, that hidden fire came on flames as a result of another element, air. The contact between the cold space and the igneous part of the earth engendered humidity and then water, generating a fight between the elements for maintaining the supremacy of one over another; as the desire of a physical existence and, in such way, taking materiality as help for the life existence which was being expressed stepwise. During long periods there was no conciliation between elements, fight was terrible. Water and fire were not appeased. However, after a while the spirits of fire and water reached an agreement and each one was located in a particular place; fire, always latent, sheltered in the center of the earth and it hid its strongest part in the deep inner of earth. Water, always visible, chose the surface, it was separated from fire by the mineral element and they remained for long periods and allowed the expression of life as we know it nowadays. The ultimate expression of sign of life rose as the man, with all the conditions and possibilities of the creation itself; at that time he had conciliated in his inner side water and fire, where life boiled. We may compare by analogy the earth with a plane or spacecraft that traverses the immeasurable space. Any human being who is aware would try any bombshell in any aircraft in flight, not even in the farthest part like toilets or cabin baggage. This is something logical and completely reasonable. Incredible or absurd as the man may seem, maybe for curiosity or blinded for his greed to achieve mastery over another crew of the spacecraft called Earth, he has tried to exploit not only on the Earth’ surface but also, and in order to hide his brutality, he has used the seabed to his atomic tests. However, between complacency and complicity of part of the crew; and also the slyness of others to do the same with no criticism and with total ignorance of most people, he has made an absurdity impregnated of stupidity, he has used the faults or cracks of the seabed to exploit his bombs. Atlantic seabed is injured and then nowadays death is flowed out. Once again there is a struggle between the elements. Water has invaded the place of fire and nowadays such igneous element from the inner earth burns the water of the Atlantic sea. And it turns hotter and therefore evaporation is higher on the surface unleashing the biggest hurricanes and storms we have suffered in recent times. However, the greatest danger is not the one cited above. The planet, as a pressure cooker, shall seek a relief using its valves, the volcanoes, all them shall awake along with big earthquakes. There is no safe place in this spacecraft known as Earth. Mother Nature became Mother Death. The man who as an empty house has no soul or spirit has accelerated the future; he was not satisfied with waiting for his destiny but he jumps to it, agile. The following is a text taken from the newspaper Ultimas Noticias dated December 28, 1999. “Man-made changes to the meteorological conditions are irreversible; we are in the middle of climate change. Hurricanes, typhoons, endless rains as those occurred in Venezuela; or European storms show the tendency of what we can expect. The disasters caused by the inclement weather will increase. The measures taken so far are not even enough for stabilizing the situation and much less to mitigate its harmful effects” Klaus Töpfer, current executive director of the United Nations Environment Programme, German Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. ![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVDE2HF3u38WuqjHR9tvo5W66LzaQHy5URUZmPvCJGxdr/image.png) Comments dated September 20, 2017. With this in mind, we only may say that we have not been aware of the huge damage caused to the planet we live in. The chaos where we currently live in is a consequence of more than 2000 atomic tests carried out so far over the earth, the sky and even in the seabed and the depths of the earth. When an atomic test is made, it is not like a single butterfly flapping its wings and producing a hurricane but millions of butterflies flapping their wings. Currently, there are nuclear weapons to destroy the planet in a few minutes. In 2002 there were around 20000 active nuclear weapons in the world. Nuclear 50 megaton bombs have been exploded, 1500 times strongest than Nagasaki and Hiroshima bombs. Nowadays, a human being can be killed more than 3 times due to the atomic power currently existing. And we only have one single life. Indigenous thought: we do not inherit nature from our ancestors but we borrow it from our descendants.

titleWhen Fire Burns Water
body![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmbyT8W8owBrp7nYdo5tUEF9NQLoJjxEcLkXGraYSBwh6V/image.png) Atomic tests between the possible causes of the hurricanes and earthquakes. The more than 2000 atomic tests carried out by some countries should be included as causes of hurricanes and the awakening of the volcanoes. Speculative paper inspired on a friend’s dream (year 2000 new millennium) Once again there is a conflict between elements: Fire burns water. titleCOMO SE ENAMORA UN CIEGO
Agilnous
