Many years ago, the life was surely harder than now, but I'm pretty sure that we had the time to live learning, at our own pace, many things deeply. But the world hugely changed and we have to be the most competitive possible among a large amount of competitors to stay alive. Of course, if our way of life allows it, it's also a very interesting age to discover various progresses and enjoy them... Still it is necessary to be able to access it :/</p>\n</div>\n\n## The schematic\n---\n<div class=\"text-justify\">\n<p>At the beginning, it's very important to grow in a stable family to get, little by little, a psychological balance between emotional relationships, education and learning life skills; if you miss one of these steps, you create the onset of a mental disorder which could be worse in a futur. After that, comes school time which is a critical period for all children regarless their social background; each one will have to be ready for a frantic learning pace in an environment that is not always favourable to quality education. More importantly, there will be - from the outset -, disparities between each schoolmate which will make progression harder for the less prepared children, and our different educational models totally don't fit to fix this reality. A few years later, you'll have to take your place in the society, and because of very unstable economic curves, it'll be very complicated to get a comfortable life without the work-related or job search stress. At this point will start a long, tiring and demanding fight to stay up-to-date with a world which doesn't leave you in peace enjoying simple happinesses.</p>\n</div>\n\n## What does knowledge allow you? What happens when you run out?\n---\n<div class=\"text-justify\">\n<p>\nGrowing up learning fundamentals of our society codes, their history - including the various philosophical, scientific and political fields -, understanding the current challenges our societies have to face... All of these aspects really matter, and the more information you can gather, the more doors will open to you. For example, training to one or many trade, speaking many languages, being literate, and even more, will guarantee you many opportunities, because capitalism really like \"full stack(*)\" people.\n<blockquote>\n* A Full-Stack Web Developer is someone who is able to work on both the front-end and back-end portions of an application.\n</blockquote>\nIf you have the misfortune to lack of knowledge, you will drastically reduce your chance to find a job, and so your ability to consumme. And as you probably already know, a moneyless person can't enjoy any social or material pleasures; you'll stay home (if you still have a home) to not spend the little money you have on you - in other word, you will confine yourself to using your computer, because it's the only wealth you have and the only life you can afford.</p>\n</div>\n\n## Conclusion\n---\n<div class=\"text-justify\">\n<p>Acquiring knowledge is not only a necessity, it's a vital process to better understand the world we're living in; and we can't really manage without it if we want to enjoy our life. Some people's life break down because of ignorance, and this often leads to excesses such as alcoholism, drug addiction, excessive violence towards others or oneself (such as scarifications or suicide attempts); more generally it pushes a large part of our fellow citizens to depression and to the development of more or less serious illnesses which require various drug treatments. On peut tout à fait utiliser les deux plateformes, mais est-ce bien raisonnable quand on doit s'atteler à développer une audience et fidéliser ses lecteurs ? N'en étant qu'à mes débuts en tant que blogueur sur les réseaux sociaux - bien que j’ai tenu un blog Wordpress par le passé  -, je ne sais pas encore me positionner. D'un côté nous avons un outil de rédaction moderne et très populaire qu'est Medium, et de l'autre la plateforme Steemit qui propose de rémunérer ses utilisateurs au mérite via la crypto-monnaie \"Steem\".</p>\n\nA ce stade, il m'apparaît clair que nous faisons face à deux mondes bien distincts : <br>\n- Medium utilise l'Internet classique, il est intuitif, facile à prendre en main, mais il ne rémunère pas. Néanmoins il semble offrir une plus grande visibilité.\n- Steemit utilise la blockchain et la crypto-monnaie - deux concepts qu'il faut déjà avoir quelque peu exploré -, tout contenu est gravé dans le marbre (ineffaçable donc - l'option d'édition est limité à 7 jours) et il est préférable d'avoir quelques notions de HTML.\n\n<p>Pour l'heure, je penche un peu plus vers Steemit.<br>\nL'interface est plus sobre, il est plus simple de consulter les catégories et articles que sur Medium et les options de mise en forme - même si quelque-peu techniques -, me semblent offrir une plus grande souplesse ; surtout en ce qui concerne la justification des paragraphes qui me tient à cœur pour la propreté du document (même si la question fait polémique). \n</div>\n\n## Pourquoi j'utilise Steemit ? Est-ce pour l'appât du gain ?\n---\n<div class=\"text-justify\">\n<p>Clairement je ne me fais pas d'illusion quant à faire fortune sur Steemit :D<br>\nDe plus le système de rémunération est relativement compliqué et réclame pour ainsi dire une formation. Comme mon objectif premier n'est pas de gagner ma vie sur cette plateforme, mais plutôt de m'essayer à l'exercice d'écriture - notamment par la pratique des langues -, je pense d'avantage viser mon développement personnel plutôt qu'un quelconque plan de carrière (même si je n'écarte pas d'éventuelles opportunités).\n</p>\n<p>S'adonner à l'écriture peut paraître vain, mais cela permet néanmoins de développer des aptitudes qui pourront s'avérer utiles dans différents domaines, notamment professionnels. A titre d'exemple, j'ai permis à un membre de ma famille d'obtenir, par deux fois, des prêts bancaires pour monter ses différentes entreprises, alors que je n'ai suivi aucune formation littéraire et/ou commerciale. Ma démarche d'autodidacte et ma rigueur suffisent - après quelques années à développer des savoir-faire -, à convaincre des banquiers (ou simples organismes prêteurs) d'attribuer des crédits qu'ils débloquent généralement difficilement, à moins de monter des dossiers en béton.</p>\n\n<p>Et plus que tout, écrire c'est peaufiner sa qualité rédactionnelle et son style ; une chose que je m'attache à faire progresser année après année en accueillant toujours avec un grand plaisir tout conseil qui pourrait m'être profitable.\n</p>\n\n## Conclusion\n---\n<div class=\"text-justify\">\n<p>Vous l'aurez compris, cet article est à la fois une introduction de ma personne en Français et un questionnement qui demeure en suspend : \"Dois-je poursuivre mon aventure sur Steemit ?\".
