      "body": "* Que tal amigos? como les comenté en mi *\"introduceyourself\"*   les dije que les hablaría un poco de las bicicletas de piñón Fijo mejor conocidas por el nombre de Fixie o Fixed Gear. Para mi es la esencia de la bici, el comienzo, las primeras bicicletas fueron fijas, son bicicletas de velodromo, en la que no puedes dejar de pedalear y tu mismo eres el que controla la cadencia. \n* Tengo entendido que las primeras fixie de estos tiempos fueron ideadas por un grupo de mensajeros con bicis de Newyork que en vista  de los robos decidieron acondicionar las bicicletas lo mas minimalista posible y casi sin mantenimiento.   Colocándole un piñón fijo de una sola velocidad a las bicicletas de ruta o semicarrera (que son bastante livianas) quitando los frenos, ya que, como es un piñón fijo se puede frenar progresivamente haciendo un contra pedaleo generando un skip, se tranca la rueda trasera y se desliza en el piso haciendo una fricción como en la imagen.  \n \n![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSsmjx21thZkdVtorqXquuN9du5yEHiwKvguMkMGmJC41/image.png)\n* Esto de las fixie creó un revuelo en todo el mundo, seducidos por la simplicidad , los colores,  la rapidez, lo minimalista, una sola velocidad y sin frenos, así como esta : ***CLICKEA LA IMAGEN Y DISEÑA TU FIXIE***\n[![](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQusphUJo2W3fQ7tmAyX2sw2akGdkEy4aZ6ihejRoMNJg/image.png)](http://www.fixiestudio.com)\n***COMO CONOCÍ YO LA FIXIE?***\nHace 7 años buscaba info en la red para pintarle una bicicleta de segunda mano de niña, que le habían regalado a mi hijo, obviamente la iba a pintar porque era rosada jeje, buscando eso, me tope con el mundillo de las fixie y pues me atrajo de tal manera que hasta hoy he tenido 5 fixies, les digo q es adictivo,  por qué? pues en mi opinión es una bici que sirve para todo, puedes ir muy rápido, puedes saltar aceras, hacer trucos, nunca te vas a aburrir en ella , Nunca!\nEl comienzo para mi fue duro porque acá en Venezuela no se conseguían muy con facilidad los piñones, entonces a mi primera fixie le soldé el piñón a el rin (cosa que no recomiendo a nadie) es un suicidio, casi me mato bajando por la roca tarpeya ya que los puntos se fueron, menos mal que tenía un freno por que era mi primera fixie.\nLuego fabriqué una manzana de disco con tornillos y les abrí huecos a el piñón obteniendo una manzana de piñón fijo con tornillos bastante segura y duradera, de hecho vendí varias, muchos de los compañeros *fixeros* de caracas tienen esas manzanas.\nUna de las cosas mas importante de las Fixies son los Straps, estos son usados en los pedales para poder hacer los skips y frenar, y también te da un mejor pedaleo.       "body": "@Mountainwashere's Guide for New Users:\n\nWelcome to Steemit! It's got a steep learning curve, but it's worth it in the long run if you keep putting in the time! Just know that it will take quite a while before you start getting attention and followers. The biggest secret to success? Keep posting high quality content regularly, and make sure to search out other people's posts, read them, and give relevant comments.\n\nTagging is extremely important. Always make sure to use all five possible tags, and to keep them relevant. You can always just tag something \"blog\" or \"photography\" or something else really general (so long as it's still relevant) to fill the quota if you need to- most of your tags should be established ones, though one or two less used ones are fine.\n\nPosting more than four times a day can reduce your potential rewards, as well as turning off potential users. (I aim for one post per day most of the time.) Consistency is important, though, so you should try to post often.\n\nAlways make sure to attach a photo to your posts! You should also have a finished profile: Write a description, add a profile picture and a banner- neither needs to be a photo of you, necessarily, but you should have something- and set a website.\n\nThere are a lot of really good resources out there for plankton and minnows (new users). You should check out the following groups and services, they offer a lot of valuable resources:\n\n@thesteemengine (Check this one out first- they're an extremely supportive group that can help out in a lot of ways.)\n@qurator (These guys offer an excellent liftime upvote to accounts that post consistent quality content.)\n@steembasicincome (Another lifetime upvote option.)\n@steemstem (The biggest and best STEM curation group in the game. If you're interested in writing or reading about science, check these guys out!)\n@geopolis (A fairly new science curation group, this one's dedicated to the study of the Earth.)\n@ocd (A curation group that seeks out undervalued new writers.)\n\nAnd, again, the biggest thing is just patience. Breakout successes are incredibly rare on Steemit- you've got to find your way to success through perseverance and hard work.
