bodyTimes are hard to invest; is what new people would say but let's look at the historic data. January is known to be the bloodbath of crypto currency market. It simply due to lunar year for the Chinese and asian countries which are core to the crypto currency market. We need to invest when the market is down, it won't be this down again as the prices would be greater this time next year as it is today.! HODL guys, HODL!

bodyThis is a great post, shows your compassion for the poor and needy. Imagine we just had a world where there are equality of all not, just race but all people regarding of the color of the skin. Allowing us all to have equal opportunity to succeed in life. This will defeat income inequality and allow poor people like those in India to come out of the shadow and have some actual decent life where they don't suffer because they are poor and aren't giving any opportunity!

However, the British public should be given the opportunity to vote on the agreement to leave the European Union and decide whether the status-quo is a better situation or Brexit deal, and not parliament nor right-wing zealots of the Conservative party backed up by the Democratic Union Party of Northern Ireland. The British public voted without the basic understanding and knowledge of the terms of Brexit when the conditions of Brexit become far more apparent to the eyes of the British people; it is their democratic right to change their mind. By taking a look at the demographics of the European Union referendum, it is clear to see that majority of the older voted to leave the union while the younger voters voted to remain. It is disgraceful and harmful that the older voters who were the first to benefit the European Union project, to take it away from our generation. It will be our generation who will be impacted the most by the Brexit vote, not the old. The old weren't the ones who paid to attend universities and face significant debt, it isn't the old who pay high rent prices, and it isn't the old who will impact by the lack of funding to social programs like the library, leisure centres, and youth clubs. The elderly won't be affected by the Brexit vote, with their well-protected pension system and high housing prices. It is our generation who are facing cuts to their benefits while the old get a rise in their pension. The Breexiters long complained about the cost of the European Union membership. If you believe the left camp, the figure will estimate at £361 million a week, and little did they know the actual cost of the European Union. The UK government gives about £161 million a week to the European Union, where £210 million a week is provided by the European Union to the UK government to spend on programs like fisheries and farming, infrastructure and development. If we were to compare the overall weekly UK government spending, you would see the government spending £2.6 billion on the NHS and £3.6 billion on pensions. The Breexiters argued that the European Union membership fee would send to the budget of the NHS and the state of the healthcare system would great. The government weekly spending figures suggest the opposite, and it was the old and so-called martyrs of the European Union who fell for it. The Breexiters also claimed that the immigration is the reason for the housing shortage and its affordability. Under the Conservative government, housing developments have fallen while the need for housing grew massively. It is also the old who own the majority of the houses in Britain who are pushing the rent up and up to a point where the young generation can no longer afford. We the young generation must fight back We the young generation must fight back and let our voices be heard. The majority of us voted to remain in the European Union, and yet our voices aren't being listened to at the negotiation table as It will be us, the young generation who will carry the burden and debt of the country given by the previous generation. We demand a deal that works for us and our interest. We require an agreement that protects the right of our fellow European friends who claimed Great Britain as their home, entrenched in our society, co-workers and classmates, partners and spouses in some cases. We demand Britain being the land of opportunity for anyone who wants to work hard and transform their situation, and the land of refuge to anyone who leaves their country due to conflict, prosecution, natural disaster or poverty. We demand a deal protects British jobs by remaining in the single market, a market of over 500 million customers that brings opportunities, investments, and developments to Britain. Importantly, we demand political figures not to divide us, but to bring us together. We shouldn't let them share us on race, sexual orientation or gender. When we fight this cause together, White, Black and Asian, gay or straight, woman or man and demand this country works for the many and not for the few. We will be then able to transform Great Britain into a society that works for all. Stop Brexit, but also stop the Tories. At 2017 general election, we did the first part of fighting back by preventing hard Brexit on us. The general election was our moment of revenge. However, we failed to make June the end of may, but we achieved an incredible result. We were able to weaken the Conservatives and force them to rely heavily on the DUP. With a few rebellions, the Conservative majority in government is at risk.

bodyA brief history of political philosophy and the importance of intellectual history. 2,500 years ago, when the concept of knowledge was considered radical. This period, societies long believed that God governed the world. Some individuals had already challenged that belief by proposing new theories about the universe. There was already disagreement on how best to understand it, so Greek philosophers like Thales broke it down to water, Heraclitus to change and Pythagoras to numbers. It allowed the birth of theoretical science. Socrates, a Greek philosopher, is best known as the founding father of Western Philosophy pushed theoretical science to its great extent, by wondering the world human beings experience. These wonders were about knowledge required in order societies best live together. Socrates long believed the importance of knowledge, by suggesting 'virtue is knowledge'. Socrates thought that knowledge in theoretical science shouldn't be restricted to physical matters but also involved in moral and political issues too. This thinking enabled the birth of political philosophy. What about the world that we human beings experience? Can we know of it? Not the cosmos, but the polis? Understanding the intellectual history could serve a purpose in today's societies, like the debate about democracy. Intelligent democracy or birthright democracy? Ancient Athens would long be remembered for creating democracy. It's that particular reason why Athens is a political tourism for politicians. But the famous Athenian Socrates disagreed with the concept of democracy. Socrates has warned us the negative impact democracy could have on the society. In a conversation recorded by Plato in his book, 'Republic', Socrates compared a society with a ship to a fellow Greek Adeimantus. Socrates asked, "who should be in charge of driving the vessel? Any ordinary person or someone who is highly trained in seafaring". "The latter" replied Adeimantus, Socrates went on to ask "why do we think any old people should be fit to judge who should rule the country?". Socrates argued that voting in an election requires skills, by gaining those skills involves knowledge. Letting people vote without a basic education is like allowing any ordinary person is driving the vessel. Socrates experience the impact of uneducated, foolish voters in first hand. "Education removes the darkness of ignorance". Socrates wasn't wholly against the concept of democracy but argued that people who thought issues logically and wisely should be able to vote. Socrates only feared outcomes that could result in demagogues in power. Ancient Athens experienced this in great hand. Socrates wanted an election debate between two candidates, one who is a sweet shop owner and a doctor. A sweet owner would say sweet stuff for votes while the doctor would provide solutions to the problems facing the society. If the doctor were to say the wrong thing, it would be politically disastrous. A society of ignorant of democracy would make a sweet shop owner to become a presidential tyrant or parliamentary dictatorship. Individuals would vote in ethnic and religious line instead of policies: patriotism and tribalism trumps. By studying political philosophy and intellectual history, we will be able to remember problems highlighted by Socrates and other intellects on how best to prevent scenarios and how to live a society that benefits us all.![schoolxl.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZvX5HYvvdxpySs4dLK1QFfUaLxPBjy79SnwQceUAQQ7Y/schoolxl.jpg)

Any ordinary person or someone who is highly trained in seafaring\". \"The latter\" replied Adeimantus, Socrates went on to ask \"why do we think any old people should be fit to judge who should rule the country?\".\n\nSocrates argued that voting in an election requires skills, by gaining those skills involves knowledge. Letting people vote without a basic education is like allowing any ordinary person is driving the vessel. Socrates experience the impact of uneducated, foolish voters in first hand.\n\n\"Education removes the darkness of ignorance\".\n\nSocrates wasn't wholly against the concept of democracy but argued that people who thought issues logically and wisely should be able to vote. Individuals would vote in ethnic and religious line instead of policies: patriotism and tribalism trumps.\n\nBy studying political philosophy and intellectual history, we will be able to remember problems highlighted by Socrates and other intellects on how best to prevent scenarios and how to live a society that benefits us all.![schoolxl.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZvX5HYvvdxpySs4dLK1QFfUaLxPBjy79SnwQceUAQQ7Y/schoolxl.jpg)",

bodyIn 2017, Theresa May has come full circle. Poll after poll, the Conservative party, were marching towards complete parliament control but Jeremy Corbyn defied against the pollster, the pundits and his fellow Labour MPs by preventing much-predicted tories landslide and instead created some remarkable gains across the board. Tories have acquiesced to May's terrible image to escape harsh judgment at the exit polls. One year after gaining control of parliament with a manageable majority, Tories were routed by Labour in the generic ballot test, a gamble that backfired as the UK wake up to a hung parliament. By the look of it, we can assume that the laws of physics apply to politics in the Age of Theresa May. Isaac Newton’s third law that says every action has an equal and opposite reaction explains much about the Labour Party's resurgence. Physics professors teach that force always comes in pairs, and true to form, the disastrous leadership of Theresa May and her government sums it up. The outcome of the Newtonian cycle has resulted in a minority government which has weakened the power of Theresa May immensely by relying heavily on the DUP that led to a political reaction questioning May's legitimacy and credibility to lead as Prime Minister. While the prime minister stuttering campaign failed to deliver the prognosticated Tory wins that were predicted by polls, she yet again suffered a humiliating defeat in the Commons regarding the Brexit deal. The government lost a significant vote on an amendment introduced by Dominic Grieve that would require the final Brexit agreement with Brussels to be approved by Parliament. This result was yet another setback for May, who had a year to forget. With the sex abuse scandal shadowing over Conservative Party and should Parliament vote against any final deal, it would force the Prime Minister to renegotiate with the European Union that could result in UK trade fall under the rules of the World Trade Organization; a path which is called hard Brexit. As the Brexit talks have moved to the next stage, Theresa May said that the decision to move into the subsequent negotiations were "an important step on the road to delivering a smooth and orderly Brexit." However, the German Chancellor Angela Merkel warned that the following sets of negotiations would be considerably harder than the previous stage. "Phase two may now be ushered in, but obviously that is an even tougher piece of negotiation than we have had up to now." Donald Tusk also quoted to have said: "The second phase will I think to be more challenging than the first phase." One thing we all can agree on - after the six months May had, with the first stage of Brexit talks completed, she may experience a moment of a sigh of relief. But with the resurgence of Labour Party and rebellions among Tory backbenchers. Theresa May can only hope 2018 be the year where her premiership is strong and stable as she yearned.
