For example, some consider a video based tutorial is easier to assimilate, while others argue that a text-based guide is a better option.</p>\n<h2>DLS Token</h2>\n<p>The instructors decide if they want to charge students for their course and what they think is a fair price for it. Although they have full control over the pricing, instructors have to deposit an amount of tokens equal to 10 times the course price, in order to enforce a cost-quality balance.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<h2>Smart Contract</h2>\n<p>These tokens are just locked in a <strong>smart contract</strong> until a minimum threshold of 10 purchases is reached. In other words, if the course fails to attract at least 10 students, then the cost-quality balance is not met because either the course is overpriced or the quality is poor. In this case, the instructor loses his deposit. The lost tokens <strong>go to a reserve and get redistributed</strong> to users who contribute the most within the platform.</p>\n<h2>IPFS</h2>\n<p>The course is published on IPFS.The InterPlanetary File System is a peer-to-peer hypermedia protocol that enables distributed storage across a network of computers. According to their own description, IPFS is a protocol, filesystem, web, cdn, peer to peer and uses crypto, all at the same time. If it sounds crazy, it is.       "body": "<html>\n<p><img src=\"https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSGxbTBLFHu34132ZI7bbkNdKv9aCM6HSkJOd3T9SKj-ZOTylwg\" width=\"310\" height=\"163\"/></p>\n<p>&nbsp;After watching yesterday’s iPhone X announcement, a few things stuck out to me - some of these perhaps weren’t so obvious at first glance (at least from others I’ve talked to). In no particular order, I’ve listed a few thoughts below.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>&nbsp;•&nbsp;In general, it looks like there’s a bit of work developers will need to do to <a href=\"https://developer.apple.com/videos/play/fall2017/201/\">update apps to support the iPhone X</a>: Avoiding the notch in landscape mode, and aligning views to fill or avoid the bottom safe area are the main compatibility issues that stick out to me. Early adopters might need to wait several months before the majority of their apps pick up proper support for the iPhone X.•&nbsp;The way Apple has handled the iPhone X status bar is really neat.
