      "body": "**The 13 Best Beaches in Thailand**\n\n1- Railay Beach – Krabi\n\nRailay Beach in Krabi.\n\n![image](https://img.esteem.ws/iamvl097zg.jpg)\n\nOne of my absolute favorite places in Thailand. Railay is accessible only by boat from Ao Nang or Krabi. There are no vehicles in the town so very quiet and perfect for kids. Several great beaches are within easy reach of the town. \n\n2- Phra Nang Beach – Krabi\n\nBest beaches in Krabi.\n\n ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/4q9sodxefe.jpg)\n\nPhra Nang is a short walk from Railay – or rent a kayak and go by sea. Rock climbing near-by and some fun caves to explore.\n\n3- Karon Beach – Phuket\n\nKaron Beach near Patong Beach in Phuket.\n\n ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/3dqj64jx0l.jpg)\n\nA great beach with lots of restaurants and nightlife – though not as wild (or seedy) as Patong. \n\n4- Kata Beach – Phuket\n\nKata beach during Christmas and New Years Holidays.\n\n ![image](https://img.esteem.ws/74qlj65zv4.jpg)\n\nA wonderful beach and town. Phuket can have choppy water but Kata is protected and often calm (and thus one of the most kid-friendly beaches on Phuket). The island is dotted with great stretches of sand away from busy Tonsai beach.       "body": "**The Island of Dolls, Mexico**\n\nThe beautiful man-made canals of Xochimico (chinampas), near Mexico City were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. However, they harbour a macabre secret. Hanging from the trees of one of the floating islands you'll see the blank eyes of hundreds of decaying dolls staring soullessly back at you, many with severed limbs. According to local legend, the Isla de las Munecas (Island of the Dolls) was created by its caretaker. He discovered the body of a young girl who had drowned, and hung her washed-up doll on a tree to pay his respects. He spent the next fifty years adding to the number of dolls.
