How are you? Today I'm going to analyze a cult classic film—because honestly, we can't deny that it's a true cult classic—released in 2004, starring Shawn and Marlon Wayans and directed by their brother Ivory Wayans. In Latin America, it was better known as \"White Chicks.\" It tells the story of Kevin and Marcus, two FBI agents who, after participating in a failed mission, were punished by their boss with the tedious and almost absurd task of escorting the Wilson sisters (Brittany and Tiffany). They're the typical rich, good-for-nothing girls who treated them like slaves, but to top it all off, they have an accident on the way and both refuse to go to their destination, sporting a broken nose and a split lip, respectively. So Kevin and Marcus decide to replace them, dressing and acting like them so as not to raise suspicion. That's where everything gets out of control 😄.\n\n>¡Hola Hola, gente de internet! ¿Cómo están? Hoy me voy a dedicar a analizar una película de culto porque honestamente no podemos negar que esta es hoy en día toda una película de culto, lanzada en el 2004, protagonizada por Shawn y Marlon Wayans y dirigida por su hermano Ivory Wayans. En Latinoamérica fue mejor conocida con el nombre: \"¿Y Dónde Están las Rubias?\" Nos cuenta la historia de Kevin y Marcus, dos agentes del FBI que luego de haber participado en una misión fallida fueron castigados por su jefe encargándoles la tediosa y casi absurda misión de escoltar a las hermanas Wilson (Brittany y Tiffany) ambas son las típicas niñas ricas y buenas para nada que los trataron como esclavos, pero para colmo sufren un accidente en el camino y ambas se niegan a llegar a su destino luciendo una nariz rota y el labio partico respectivamente, de modo que Kevin y Marcus deciden reemplazarlas, vistiendo y actuando como ellas para que no haya sospechas, ya ahí es donde todo se descontrola 😄. </p></div>\n\n\n<center>https://youtu.be/aeVkbNka9HM</center>\n\n\n<div class=text-justify>\n<p>The entire film is filled with satire and physical humor, so it's easy to make us smile and even laugh out loud. Almost all of the Wayans brothers' films are like this, as are Adam Sandler's movies. However, something sets this one apart: it was very bold for its time in addressing stereotypes so openly. The FBI agents working for the Wilson sisters are treated like slaves, partly because of their skin color and partly because they don't share the same social and economic status, without considering that both women's lives were at their mercy. This exposes the superficiality and hypocrisy of high society, although there are also quite a few gender and age stereotypes (women who worry about their weight or what men think of them, etc.).\n\n>Toda la película está llena de sátiras y humor físico, por eso no cuesta para nada arrancarnos una sonrisa y hasta una buena carcajada, casi todas las películas de los hermanos Wayans son así, al igual que las películas de Adam Sandler, sin embargo hay algo que diferencia esta del resto y es que fue muy audaz en su época por hablar tan abiertamente de los estereotipos. Who doesn't love Latrell? He's kind of like Johnny Bravo: the big, strong guy who thinks he can conquer the world but is really just a persistent pest who doesn't take no for an answer. However, Latrell represents those people desperately trying to fit in. He belongs to the African American community, but because he has money, he tries to fit in with the white Californian community, becoming a classist and racist to the point of absurdity. Here are two of my favorite Latrell moments that made me laugh the most and were the most iconic in the movie.</p></div>\n\n>Y también tenemos personajes como Latrell interpretado grandiosamente por Terry Crews, jaja ¿Quién no ama a Latrell? es una especie de Jhonny Bravo: el tipo grande y fuerte que cree que puede conquistar el mundo pero realmente es un pesado insistente que no conoce un no por respuesta, sin embargo Latrell representa a esas personas que  buscan desesperadamente encajar en algún lado, él pertenece a la comunicad afrodescendiente, pero como tiene dinero pretende encajar en la comunidad blanca californiana, volviéndose él también un clasista y racista hasta rayar en lo absurdo. Almost all of the Wayans brothers' films are like this, as are Adam Sandler's movies. However, something sets this one apart: it was very bold for its time in addressing stereotypes so openly. The FBI agents working for the Wilson sisters are treated like slaves, partly because of their skin color and partly because they don't share the same social and economic status, without considering that both women's lives were at their mercy. Who doesn't love Latrell? He's kind of like Johnny Bravo: the big, strong guy who thinks he can conquer the world but is really just a persistent pest who doesn't take no for an answer. However, Latrell represents those people desperately trying to fit in. He belongs to the African American community, but because he has money, he tries to fit in with the white Californian community, becoming a classist and racist to the point of absurdity. Here are two of my favorite Latrell moments that made me laugh the most and were the most iconic in the movie.</p></div>\n\n>Y también tenemos personajes como Latrell interpretado grandiosamente por Terry Crews, jaja ¿Quién no ama a Latrell? es una especie de Jhonny Bravo: el tipo grande y fuerte que cree que puede conquistar el mundo pero realmente es un pesado insistente que no conoce un no por respuesta, sin embargo Latrell representa a esas personas que  buscan desesperadamente encajar en algún lado, él pertenece a la comunicad afrodescendiente, pero como tiene dinero pretende encajar en la comunidad blanca californiana, volviéndose él también un clasista y racista hasta rayar en lo absurdo.
