Well,<br> and naughty girls. I mean that as in a child literally not listening to her mother (so she got sent there for a very short amount of time),<br> and whores who were dressed too inappropriately in public. Fun fact: Cripple Creek used to have an afternoon every week where the 'good women' of the town would stay in,<br> while the prostitutes would go out and shop for things. The jail was mostly a male jail,<br> but there was an upstairs portion that used to house a few women inmates as well. And kids too,<br> if needed.
