I am not in the mood for work or school or for that matter anything.<\/em><\/h3>\n<h3>Feeling unmotivated or procrastinating is a normal human feeling and action that we all experience one or other time,<br> but you can do something about it.<\/h3>\n<p>You make to do lists and never get around to it. &nbsp;You decide to do things,<br> only to procrastinate because you have no motivation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<img src=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41087.jpg\" width=\"720\" height=\"540\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41087.jpg\">image source<\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you look at this advice you may roll your eyes and think <em>,<br> O yes sure,<br> it is not that easy,<br> <\/em>but if you think about it,<br> that is exactly what you must do. &nbsp;Just move forward. &nbsp;And the more you are able to move forward the easier it will get. It is easy to think of something,<br> but not do it. &nbsp;So once you are done with the thinking part,<br> you can move it out of the way and start with the doing part.<\/p>\n<p>There are a few things that you can do to get yourself motivated again.<\/p>\n<h2>Stop your negativity and become positive<\/h2>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41088.jpg\" width=\"1083\" height=\"1300\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41088.jpg\">image source<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Usually when we feel unmotivated or we procrastinate,<br> it is because we are in a bad mood or not feeling well. &nbsp;If you have ruled out being sick and it is just a mood you are in,<br> you have to start thinking positive thoughts and become optimistic. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Think about the possibilities that awaits you if you do a certain task and how you can prove to yourself that you can do something. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Take small steps and complete the tasks one at a time and celebrate the ones you are done with. &nbsp;That way you will send out a positive vibe and before long you are in a better mood and just tackling the day.<\/p>\n<h2>Reward yourself<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<img src=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41093.jpg\" width=\"650\" height=\"350\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41093.jpg\">image source<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Getting a reward is always better than getting a penalty. &nbsp;Set little goals for yourself with rewards in between.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rewards do not have to be big presents,<br> it can be little things like taking a break,<br> sitting in the garden,<br> playing with the dog,<br> eating an ice cream. &nbsp;Anything that gives you the feeling that you are doing good and you deserve something in return. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you do not do what you are suppose to,<br> you must also have penalties for yourself.<\/p>\n<h2>Be accountable<\/h2>\n<p>Tell your friends or family what your plans are - that way you will start feeling guilty if you procrastinate or are unmotivated. &nbsp;You will feel that if they know what your plans are and you do not follow through with it,<br> they will start loosing faith in you.<\/p>\n<h2>Get some positive vibes from other people<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<img src=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41094.jpg\" width=\"640\" height=\"640\"\/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/imgoat.com\/uploads\/1d0c6e83f0\/41094.jpg\">image source<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Do not dwell in the presence of negative people,<br> who always just sees the dark side of life. &nbsp;Surround yourself with people who are kind and positive. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You do not only have to get this from your friends and family,<br> you can find it in a stranger's smile,<br> in a self help book,<br> in a podcast,<br> something on the radio or even just listening to music.<\/p>\n<p>Find what makes you happy and gives you some positive feelings.<\/p>\n<h2>Be kind to yourself<\/h2>\n<p>Even if you try,<br> you will still have days where you fail in being motivated or where you still procrastinate. &nbsp;Do not be too hard on yourself and turn yourself negative by being mean to yourself. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We tend to forget that we do not only have to be kind to others,<br> but also to ourselves. &nbsp;Take a step back,<br> regroup and move forward again without bullying yourself. &nbsp;Failing or falling is not the end of the world if you get up again and carry on. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Make you failures into a constructive learning curve and determine what you can do to prevent it in future.<\/p>\n<h2>Get involved in a friendly competition<\/h2>\n<p>Get a friend\/colleague at school or work to be in competition with - take note: a friendly competition,<br> just for motivation to finish a task or see who can give the most smiles or who are the most positive in doing their work.
