I grew up in a very diverse inner city neighborhood and was a minority in my high school. I learned early on to show interest in others and forge true friendships. I learned there are good and bad in every group. I also learned to judge people by their character over everything else. I'm so thankful for that diverse background and those lessons now. Back in the mid-eighties (early days of Hip Hop) I had some wonderful memories of being part of that culture early on. Great post,<br> Charlie!",<br>"json_metadata":" \"tags\":[\"story\" " |
