So if you see them sitting in the sun it is probably to warm them up. \n\n<center>https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/xCZT4y91\/mon-9-29-6.jpg<\/center>\n\nDid you know that Monarchs use their antennae to smell the nectar in flowers? After getting a good whiff the monarch will taste the nectar with its feet. They have receptors in their feet called,<br> \"tarsi\" which allows them to do this.\n\n<center>https:\/\/i.postimg.cc\/MHjK2MGb\/mon-9-29-5.jpg<\/center>\n\nDid you know that Monarchs lay eggs on one plant only? Females lay their eggs only on the milkweed plant because the leaves of this plant are the only leaves their caterpillars will eat.\n\nDid you that Monarchs lay many eggs in one day and only one at a time?
