I've got to throw that in there because what I know as poverty is not a severe as some of the third world countries. \n\nAccording to [The U.S. Census Bureau (https:\/\/www.census.gov\/search-results.html?q=income+average&page=1&stateGeo=none&searchtype=web&cssp=SERP&%3Acq_csrf_token=undefined),
the average income in the U.S. is $53,
889,
anything below that in my opinion is mediocre (below average),
and that's what I consider poverty.\n\nI definitely would agree with Gandhi,
that being below average finance-wise,
is an extremely violent place. Always worrying about bills,
penny pinching,
and scrapping your funds together to cover your obligations. That causes people to do things like rob banks,
or other people personally,
sell drugs for larger and quicker income. \n\nExtreme violence. \n\nHow difficult is it for a person in that situation to support his family,
community,
friends,
church,
etc.,
when they can barely support themselves.\n\nWith my opinion being out there...\n\nWhat does the quote mean to you?",
"json_metadata":" \"tags\":[\"quoteoftheday\",
\"dailyquotes\",
\"money\",
\"entrepreneur\" ,
\"image\":[\"https:\/\/steemitimages.com\/DQmQXvd3T2Rh8RnKW3rfms4yoqEUufcub9MQcsMH19WGYzE\/IMG_2020.jpg\" ,
\"links\":[\"https:\/\/www.census.gov\/search-results.html?q=income+average&page=1&stateGeo=none&searchtype=web&cssp=SERP&%3Acq_csrf_token=undefined\" ,
\"app\":\"steemit\/0.1\",
\"format\":\"markdown\" "
