They are the forest protector and dwellers who risk their lives to save the dying forest of Surigao del norte,<br> Surigao del Sur and Caraga region. They are the individuals and groups who are primarily against the disastrous effects of large scale mining,<br> illegal logging,<br> and inappropriate agricultural industry. Majority of them are exploited,<br> abused,<br> manipulated and worse killed. And this happened to them because they dont know how to read and write. The mission of the group is educate children,<br> youth and adult about literacy and numeracy to prevent further abuse and violence in the future.
