Thank you so much for your solidarity and best of luck!<br>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competition Rules: Music<\/strong><br>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>(Visual Arts Competition Rules Below)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>*One application per artist ONLY.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Applicants must be 18 years or older.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*All songs\/music must be original recordings and compositions.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*The songs\/music must not be subject to rights restrictions that would restrict their use for this competition.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Songs can be in any language; however written lyrics for ALL songs must be provided in English.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Submissions must address the theme of \u2018Hope\u2019. Artists will be expected to explain the connection of their work with the theme.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Every artist who enters will be placed in our database for World Citizen Artists newsletters and future competitions.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Winners and finalists must agree to allow Safe Passage,<br> Gua Africa and World Citizen Artists to reuse submitted soundtracks of any promotional material related to the competition,<br> for promotion and fundraising purposes.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Members of Safe Passage,<br> Gua Africa and World Citizen Artists will judge the competition. The selection will be based on the following categories: power of the message,<br> creativity,<br> originality,<br> intonation,<br> sound,<br> vocal skill,<br> lyrics.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*All decisions of the judges are final. The competition organisers reserve the right to withdraw a work from their website and social media channels at any stage for any reason deemed appropriate by them,<br> without any other recourse.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*The song\/music tracks may not contain any content that incites violence,<br> racism,<br> religious proselytising,<br> gender discrimination or any form of intolerance. Such content will disqualify the artwork and entrant.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Applicants may be offered exposure on Artist Voices and social media channels.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*Winners will be featured on the World Citizen Artists Awards Channel,<br> Artist Voices and social media.<br>\n<br>\n<br>\n*All entry fee must be paid directly to the charity of the applicants choice.
