Every now and then a freight train conks out and blocks the roads to the opposite side where I live. They can sit there for hours creating a road block. So I had to resort to walking an extra couple miles to the nearest underpass to get across the tracks. Story of my life,<br> this happens quite a few times. So I took the dark pathway above for about a mile to reach the underpass.\n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/41a83ce2bffe9dbebdb2218fc326b50921329d26.jpg)\n\nHere is the lovely underpass that would save me hours waiting in the cold for the freight train to get fixed. \n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/2e24855a461fdf5d330fba2a179af791d32a606f.jpg)\n\nInside it is quite bright,<br> its basically a little tunnel. The curved edges provide entertainment for the mitochondria laden high schoolers nearby to run up the sides of it. \n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/d44a4d124da155c9d0e6787f27b84e122d4c2e40.jpg)\n\nThis kid probably did a backflip off the side of the tunnel leaving a red shoe mark. \n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/1745058d2de1876d35e1041283aca8378c3b854c.jpg)\n\nOn the other side of the tunnel is a small neighborhood with pretty old houses. This one is glowing green for Christmas.\n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/bf73088be4d1c158b98cbf77424fb97e7486d68b.jpg)\n\nIt kind of reminds me of a gingerbread house where a witch might live lol.\n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/a0ba7d376665e8c07ea5e51fd839804b3ae1ef35.jpg)\n\nFinally I made it to my condo,<br> not the greatest thing to walk in the cold dark night because of a stupid freight train. But it provided some different pictures for #wednesdaywalk :-)\n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/5e81767321d825643dc51dfb0bae598d85640d76.jpg)\n\nOne of my neighbors likes to bring in huge Poinsettias every winter to brighten up the lobby. \n\n![ (https:\/\/d1vof77qrk4l5q.cloudfront.net\/img\/f67bc9f09bfb7d51ec0e4f78469bf8c7edca08c7.jpg)\n\nShe also put these plant in the lobby. I think they eventually bloom into a red flower.
