It is high quality,<br> real slate tile. It\u2019s also a real pain to remove from the floor. Hammer and chisel works pretty good until you come across a tile that\u2019s really stuck to the floor. At that point,<br> rather than come out in 1 piece,<br> it breaks apart into shards of rock. <\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p>Slate layers like crunching through a Butterfinger candy bar...the pieces fragment and flake apart.<\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/i841.photobucket.com\/albums\/zz335\/mikegmi2\/F8D30E66-BF80-4971-8376-BDB5B9EB8BDF.jpg<\/p>\n<p><br><\/p>\n<p>I did,<br> however,<br> get a new beast of a tool today. Will try it out tomorrow.
