| comment | | "parent_author":"",<br>"parent_permlink":"sketching",<br>"author":"alphaccino.art",<br>"permlink":"sketchbook-practice-drawing-faces",<br>"title":"Sketchbook Practice - Drawing Faces",<br>"body":"View this post on Hive: [Sketchbook Practice - Drawing Faces (https:\/\/peakd.com\/@alphaccino.art\/sketchbook-practice-drawing-faces)\n\n***\n\n# Filling a Sketchbook with Faces\n\n---\n\n![Imgur (https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/lA9nMuB.jpg)\n\n<sub>Ink on Paper,<br> 19 May 2019<\/sub>\n\n---\n\nThis is a brand new sketchbook that I bought a few days ago and I wasn't very impressed with the paper quality so I chucked it aside thinking I would just use it for quick sketches that you sometimes do when an idea pops into mind.\n\nAnyhoo,<br> I started this drawing this morning,<br> it was nothing elaborate because I just wanted to get a feel for the proportions and shape,<br> but as the day progressed and with all my adding and subtracting,<br> this lovely face started to emerge from the page. \n\nI had only intended to nut out a few rough sketches of head 'shapes' but I was impressed with how it was looking so I decided to keep working on it.
