She wasn't a great fan of heights,<br> she preferred her feet to be on the ground. The Dew Elevator was worse than the one with glass walls,<br> because there were no walls. There was nothing preventing her falling off the edge of the thin layer of dew droplets to a rather messy death. \n\nBill hugged her tight,<br> and screamed into her ear. And then suddenly they moved through a layer of cloud and stopped. \n\n\"Well,<br> that went quite well,<br>\" Miami the caterpillar said. \"Shall we,<br>\" he indicated with several of his legs that they should get off the dew elevator and step onto what looked like fairly solid cloud. Elma and Bill waited for the other to demonstrate that it was solid before following them. \n\nThe cloud wasn't just white and fluffy,<br> it was covered in vegetation.
