We bought GoPro HERO Session before our travelling to Thailand. We really wanted this camera! Shot on Go Pro Session<\/em><\/p>\n<p>We arrived on Koh Phangan \u2012 \u00a0a paradise island in Gulf of Siam. One day we jumped into the water from the rock on Than Sadet beach. Our friend is on the rock<\/em><\/p>\n<p>And during the jump into the water the fastener of The Standard Frame was opened by itself! The camera could not be incorrectly secured. It wasn't detached from the stick. We tried to find the camera and dived for it. But it was so deep,<br> and the water was cloudy. The Standard Frame (for HERO Session)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I love the sea,<br> and the sea brought me much pleasure. But "The sea gives,<br> and the sea takes away". \u00a0So we have given up on trying to find GoPro and came back home.<\/p>\n<p>But we couldn't get past that we lost the serviceable camera because of the cheap or maybe defective parts of The Standard Frame. We decided to write a message to GoPro support .<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/pp.vk.me\/c626929\/v626929612\/1d227\/fw0bCUl4dGs.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The subject of the message was "Disappointment". We wrote about how it happened. We wouldn't be able to share our emotions with family and friends because of what happened<a href=\"http:\/\/context.reverso.net\/%D0%BF%D0%B5%D1%80%D0%B5%D0%B2%D0%BE%D0%B4\/%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B3%D0%BB%D0%B8%D0%B9%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9-%D1%80%D1%83%D1%81%D1%81%D0%BA%D0%B8%D0%B9\/because+of+what+happened\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>. <\/em><\/a>Let me acknowledge the professional manner in which the Supportline conducted the informal consultations.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>His answer was that typically lost cameras aren't covered under warranty as it is up \u00a0to the user to ensure that everything is properly secured before and \u00a0during use. But they judge each situation individually on a case by case basis because he asked to collect more information.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/pp.vk.me\/c626929\/v626929612\/1d20c\/xScOiUcEcMg.jpg\" \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0The photo of the remaining GoPro accessories that we had<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0We provided the necessary information. \u00a0I still can't believe but next answer was:<\/p>\n<blockquote>"Thanks for the update,<br> as this is a very recent purchase we will go \u00a0ahead and replace the camera and standard frame for you. Please note \u00a0that when jumping into water,<br> the impact can be extreme and cause the \u00a0issue you experienced. In addition to this we also note you are using a \u00a0third party mount that we cannot guarantee the integrity of. Apologies for the inconvenience,<br> please let us know if we can assist youf further in the future."<\/blockquote>\n<p>We received the package from Singapore with a new camera and Standard Frame in 5 days after the loss!<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/pp.vk.me\/c626929\/v626929612\/1d22e\/04kg_foxqjk.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/pp.vk.me\/c626929\/v626929612\/1d23c\/al3JtZXgBAA.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>Our new GoPro Session!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I've heard stories about lost cameras were found in the sea in a few months or even a year!
