To day is the beginning of new week and of course is my first day to start work as a teacher in my new place of duty . When I came one week ago my boss (principal) gave me one week of rest to regain myself ,<br>put things Inorder in this new environment and prepare myself .Before I can start work to day 01\/09\/2024 Effectively.\n\n\n\nEarly inthe morning I was up from bed at 5:00am I took almost 1hour to prepare myself on the topics and lessons am going to teach students .In school today base on the classes I have been allocated to teach.My field of study is history but I minor in citizenship and Geography.In case where teachers are lacking I can assist to teach these minor subjects mentioned. \n\n\nWhen ,<br> I was done preparing myself for the lessons today .I prepared myself for school and not forgetting to take my breakfast .Before leaving the house ,<br> my first class was started at 9:00am .My school is a bilingual school but am sent to teach students in the Anglophone section .When I arrived in school ,<br> I moved straight to the principal office,<br>we had a chats concerning the behavior of the students here and how I can handle them with no worries . \n\n![3A755928-1E7E-41E7-83FC-C2CF8A71C3FE.jpeg (https:\/\/cdn.steemitimages.com\/DQmUiTuwKhMnR4UTthU8bqLR41Bz9W3cCVgnnGECkvSAe5r\/3A755928-1E7E-41E7-83FC-C2CF8A71C3FE.jpeg)\n\n<center>\n<\/center><center><sub>**In school with one my colleague as we were all heading to our various classes to teach**<\/sub><\/center>\n\nAfter,<br> I moved straight to Form4 as my school time table was indicating i have a class with them the first period . While there ,<br> it\u2019s was really exciting as we introduced ourselves to know each better . While teaching ,<br> I discovered some students are very disrespectful and bully others in school. Also,<br> I discovered really have much work with them because the previous teacher had health issues and could teach effectively . I had to begin from form 3 syllabus and scheme of work .Testing them with revision questions on what they did in form3 but I discovered the students were blank .\n\n\nIt was not easy as I had to take them back to some form3 lessons and not form4 .One thing is that they are not fast in reasoning ,<br> so I had teach them according to their level and speed of understanding.later ,<br> I had taught two different classes before break .Majority of the students have a problem in understanding and it stressed me as the teacher to teach them . I hope at times goes on they will change and be able to assimilate something.\n\n\n\nDuring break at 12:00pm,<br>I had a chat with one of my junior colleague who teaches biology .She has been here for 2years now .She made me to understand students here don\u2019t read while at home . Their focus is more on business making money and for the males,<br> majority have assets they have inherited from their parents like cows ,<br>houses and lands . She told me as time is going on they are changing because of the counseling most teachers always give to them about the importance of Education . \n\nAt 2:15pm ,<br> I had the last class with form2 . It was quite interesting as some them were interactive in class during. while some still stressed me because Of language barrier is a problem them . Majority are francophones whom most parents has decided they should do the English system of education .This make it\u2019s difficult for them to easily understand the lesson fast as others. I had a chat with my kids and husband .My husband was telling me how he is assisting the kids for them to do their home work .Since is lockdown imposed by the separatists fighters on the population in the north and southwest region of Cameroon .Most class work is given to online to parents to assist their kids to do them at home . \n\n\nAt this juncture,<br> after discussing with my family on call .I was tired and called it a day .
