Use a bucket with a lid that is easy to remove and if it lacks a rubber seal then use a piece of thick mil plastic that is a few inches larger than the bucket's lid,
place it over the bucket and then place the lid on it. This works great for not just odor control but will also help keep pest out like flies. The golden rule is that flies plus poop plus flies landing on food equals illness. A camping tent devoted to being used solely as a bathroom works good also to not just keep the flies away but also will keep the rain off you. A coffee can (or other waterproof container) with a roll of toilet paper is good to keep in the tent. Also a second bucket with a lid of 'coverage material' which can be dirt,
ashes,
sawdust,
agricultural lime,
shredded coconut husks,
finely ground mulch,
or cat litter. A small garden trowel makes a great scop for the coverage material bucket. The last 'key' item is a gallon jug of bleach water with a hole punched in the lid for easy pouring to use as hand wash. A pump style pesticide sprayer (never having been used with pesticides\/herbacides inside it of course) also works well as a hand wash device (filled with bleach water) and it also makes washing out the bucket pretty easy as well.",
"json_metadata":" \"tags\":[\"life\" ,
\"users\":[\"makinstuff\" ,
\"app\":\"steemit\/0.1\" " |
