However,<br> upon researching a bit,<br> I realized how vital this skill is for any brand or business. That\u2019s why I\u2019m determined to learn digital marketing.\n\nI also understand that digital marketing provides an opportunity to work remotely,<br> meaning I wouldn\u2019t need to go to the office all the time. I\u2019d have the chance to work at my own pace,<br> which appeals to me immensely.\n\nYou may wonder why a chemistry student like me needs to learn digital marketing. Why shouldn\u2019t I stay in my field and work related to it? I used to ask myself the same question some time back.\n\nBut as I tried to understand,<br> I realized that the importance of digital marketing in our lives has significantly increased. First of all,<br> we all know the internet has turned the world into a global village. Everything,<br> every piece of information,<br> every transaction is just a few clicks away. However,<br> in reality,<br> it encompasses much more,<br> like search engine optimization (SEO),<br> email marketing,<br> content marketing,<br> social media management,<br> and many other things. Each one has its significance,<br> and I believe it\u2019s crucial to learn each one. Plus,<br> this field offers numerous job opportunities and allows us to work flexibly and globally. It\u2019s a skill that opens many doors once you learn it. Hence,<br> I want to learn this skill.\n\nAs for chemistry,<br> speaking honestly,<br> this degree hasn\u2019t provided me any significant financial benefits so far. Given the rising unemployment and inflation in our country,<br> it has become necessary for us to earn in dollars. That\u2019s why I keep advising my students to explore new fields related to IT. He and I graduated together with an M.Sc. in chemistry from Punjab University. Now,<br> he runs a YouTube channel where he creates funny animation videos. When I commented on his Facebook post,<br> his response was a bitter truth of our society. He wrote that he had given up teaching chemistry because our nation prefers entertainment and fun over education.\n\n---\n\n## <center><div class= \"phishy\">Are you currently learning this skill? If not,<br> tell us when you will learn it.<\/div><\/center>\n#\n\n---\n\nYes,<br> I\u2019m currently learning this skill. I\u2019ve enrolled in Google\u2019s digital marketing program on the Coursera platform for this. The program consists of a total of seven courses,<br> out of which I\u2019ve already completed four and three are left. I hope to finish them all within the next four months. You can check the details of this program on the Coursera website. The reason for this is that everyone is using the internet these days. People shop online,<br> search for information online,<br> and entertain themselves online. That\u2019s why there has been a significant increase in the scope of digital marketing.\n\nFirstly,<br> if we talk about jobs,<br> every company that wants to increase its online presence is looking for digital marketers. Whether it\u2019s a small business or a multinational corporation,<br> everyone needs digital marketing. That\u2019s why there\u2019s a high demand for people with digital marketing skills.\n\nThere are different roles in digital marketing where job opportunities are available. Such as SEO specialist,<br> social media manager,<br> content marketer,<br> email marketing specialist,<br> and digital marketing analyst. If we\u2019re skilled in digital marketing,<br> we can fit into any of these roles.\n\nOn the other hand,<br> having digital marketing skills also allows usto start our own business. We can become a freelancer and work on projects for different companies. Or we can even start our own digital marketing agency.\n\nAnother interesting thing about digital marketing is that it gives us the opportunity to work globally. We can work for a company in any part of the world while sitting in any country. I believe this creates many opportunities for our career.\n\n\n---\n\n## <center><div class= \"phishy\">How you will benefit from this skill?<\/div><\/center>\n#\n\n---\n\nLearning digital marketing skills can provide me with many benefits. Firstly,<br> it\u2019ll make me an expert in a highly demanded field. As I mentioned earlier,<br> every company wants to have an online presence,<br> and they need digital marketers for this. So,<br> if I acquire this skill,<br> my chances of getting a job will increase significantly.\n\nThe second benefit will be that it\u2019ll give me the opportunity to work flexibly. Digital marketing is a field where you can work remotely from home. This means I won\u2019t have to go to the office and can work from my comfort zone.\n\nThe third benefit will be that it\u2019ll give me global exposure. It\u2019ll give me experience in the international market and familiarize me with different cultures and trends. Plus,<br> in digital marketing,<br> you have to constantly learn. Because technology and trends are constantly changing. But that\u2019s a good thing because it keeps your skill set updated and gives you the opportunity to learn new things.\n\nSo,<br> I think learning digital marketing skills can provide me with many benefits. It can take me from job opportunities to entrepreneurship. That\u2019s why I want to learn this skill.
